So my band just recorded are first demo of three songs. The recording is a little rough (and the vocals need a bit of improvement) but I think it gives you a good idea of what we sound like. I'm looking purely for feedback on this one. If you feel that this needs to be put in the 'other music' sub forum, I understand I just felt the main would be more appropriate.

What the hell is a portable forest?

A forest that moves? Haha people have come up with there own theory's of what it means... One person thought it was a reference to the end of Macbeth, another person thought it meant a bag of weed... My friend was reading the games workshop website on a tactics page titled "how to make a portable forest". That's ware we got the name.

My friend was reading the games workshop website on a tactics page titled "how to make a portable forest". That's ware we got the name.

Oh. It just confused me for a moment. I was picturing an Easter basket filled with a forest....and then I thought of Easter eggs, which then made me want chocolate. In the end I just went and got a cookie, and forgot what I was supposed to be doing. Then I realized I was supposed to be responding to this thread, so I had to ask.

I haven't had a chance to check your stuff out, I'd like to wait until I can actually pay full attention to it, but I've been very busy these past days so I haven't had a chance.

Sounds nice.

MacBeth is what I thought of, personally.

Edit: The music (playing China Song right now) kind of reminds me of Cruachan. Just less folksy.

Edit again: I reached the middle of the song... it stopped reminding me of Cruachan.

Another Edit again: I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just what popped to mind. I rather like your sound, though I'm not over the moon about the vocal style.
