Log Rolling!
Welcome foolish brave participants! Are you prepared to throw yourself down a hill for glory? Will you strive to hang on while knowing that either way the likelihood of extreme pain in your future is likely?! Yes, yes? Well, come forth!
For those who didn’t look over the rules, here they are again!
Instructions and Rules
This game will be won by luck.
When the game begins you will randomize a number between 1 and 10. Depending on what number you land on, your Kuniku will either hang on or fall off. Depending on the results you will edit your post in to include an rp response. Then the next round will begin, the mule posting a new set of numbers; this one with fewer chances for hanging on. The game continues until we have one Kuniku left.
Your rp response does not have to be long. Simply a paragraph is all we need. You will be given 24 hours to roll and respond. If you do not take your turn, your Kuniku automatically falls off.
Example:
You randomise a number in an emptyish post. You get a four. You edit your post to include an rp response of your Kuniku clinging to that tree. You wait for the mule to post the next set of numbers.
Participants Shinju - Hopelessly Pretty Xerxes - Lady_Ourania Shika - Aneto Fuji - Manchu the Panda Satou - Relain Reivu - Ameh Sangokai - Shortcutt Niareh - Aethubryn Zuzu- Kochikens Viv - Tsunake Kokoro - TTF Shirin - WindRiderNaya
There’s no posting order.
Setting (just in case anyone is confused):
The ropes have been cut and you’re now hurtling down the side of a hill clinging to a giant fir tree. Fun, right?

The ropes were cut and the game was on! Kokoro yelped as, suddenly, the large log he was clinging desperately to gave a lurch and began to slide forward. He whimpered loudly as he felt his stomach tying up in knots. The log was moving with ridiculous speed downhill, and it was frightening. Immediately he began to regret his decision to participate.

The ropes were cut and before Shika new it the log was slipping between her paws and she was blinking, confused at puffy white clouds and blue sky. Well.. that was quick. Let's not try that again.

Shirin felt the wind blowing on her face as she rolled down the hill and let out an excited scream. This was the excitement she loved and craved, a true adventure! Suddenly, she felt her foot slip and she started falling. Desperately she scrambled, doing everything she could to stay on, she did not want to get ran over by a log. After a few paniced seconds, she felt herself regain balance and continued on safely for now. "That was close."

Niareh stepped onto the log, but as soon as it started to roll, she fell flat on her face. Whoops! Guess this just wasn't her thing.

Adrenaline pumping, and with his finned tail poised high in the air for balance, Sangokai let out a bark of spirit as the log was cut free, sending it barreling downward on the hill. Hah! The first part was easy! Hopefully the Kunifish can manage to hang on for another round...

Fuji was perched atop a log at the starting line, his eyes half-lidded and a smirk showing off his bright cyan tongue was stuck on his face. So sure, maybe he was just a little over confident in his abilities, or his wings, at least. As soon as the rope was cut, he lurched forward and his smarmy expression was wiped from his face. This was harder than he thought! But, he hung on.

Satou was scrambling on her log. She should she walk on it lengthwise? Widthwise? Jump off now while its still safe? That last plan went out the door as Satou hung on to the log as it picked up speed.

Xerxes puzzled over his chosen log for a moment, finding that approaching it like a foe was winning him no ground, especially since the fallen tree did not circle him in turn or bare misshapen teeth like an Oushi might. He slid up on its right with a narrowed expression, sniffing the sawn-off edges of branches and turning his quicksilver gaze on the other participants. A few were encountering trouble early on, and his finned tail waved uneasily at the sight. Better to fall up top than to take a tumble on the slope and into the fir's roaring path. Still, he was no coward, muscles bunching as he hopped aboard and landed with a wide stance, tense and alert. The log began to tilt immediately, prompting him to dig his claws into the bark, honed tips piercing deeper when he heard the delighted and horrified squeals of his fellows. As the front of it inclined downward, the Kuniku became aware of just how long a drop it was to the bottom. The word perseverance collided with stupid risk in his head, and by then the game was in full swing.

Zuzu never questioned how crazy or stupid it was to throw himself down a hill. It was just something that was done, and everyone else was doing it, and he could do it better. Or give it a good shot. It couldn't be that hard. So, cocky and determined he hung onto his log after the rope was cut, not necessarily braver than any other kuniku. But certainly craving the adoration and praise (and snacks) so he kept his eyes open and did his best to balance. Which seemed to be going alright. So far.

For Viveka, this was a challenge. It didn't matter how stupid it seemed--it all boiled down to whether or not she could handle it. Tensing for a moment, she gracelessly leapt onto the log, paws scrabbling for a hold as it immediately began to roll. Miraculously, she managed to keep her footing, and figured out an awkward pattern. How exhilarating! The stoic female would never say as much, but her eyes were alight with simple glee.

Reivu grinned from ear to ear, watching the others around him prepare themselves for the event. What fun! What celebration! Gatherings were very much this thing, and the moment spurred his competitive fire and enthusiasm.
With the beginning of the race came an excited bark from the dark male, and he managed to hold on to the log as others fell - perhaps it was luck, or perhaps he held some degree of log-clinging aptitude in his repertoire of skills.
