Ok, because I'm sad and always want to look out for something funny to watch, I've decided that there can be this thread for people to discuss their other favourite TV shows/films (if you have any that is!) that you think people might like.
So, just make a list of your fave comedy TV shows/films and see if anyone chooses the same ones as you!
Just 2 things you MUST know:
Your choices don't have to have anything to do with RD; anything as long as it's comedy!
DO NOT, under pain of a very painful thing exclaim , RIP ON OTHER PEOPLE'S FAVE THINGS! That means NO "OMG ur fave movie in da wurld sux u suk 2 cuz i fink ist teh shiz" or anything along those lines. Play nice kids. wink If you don't like the show they're listing, talk about a different one. 3nodding
And now, because I'm a coward, I'll let someone ELSE post their faves first!

Does it have to be specifically comedy? mrgreen
Erm... lessee, the only movie I can think or right now, besides my usual staples or Lord of the Rings, etc., is The Commitments. We loves it, Precious. whee

We loves it, Precious. whee Well, I guess you can have non-comedy things; just say that they're not. So if you were posting you could say something like: Quote: blah blah, ble blah blah! And other things which aren't comedy but you might like are: LotR Or something like that. 3nodding wink

genius the only thing comparable with rd for far reaching and inspired sit com, completely different but full of sci fi references one of the best things to come on tv in ages. and that was years ago. also quite obscure.. darkplace hospital brilliant spoof of a seventies/eighties mystery show. and starring someone out of spaced (duane benzy) as the main character "hey, its duane benzyyyy" who is also the guy out of black books who does the shipping forecast "fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" another good show. sorry if you dont know what im going on about.

Most of the TV shows I like aren't shown anymore sweatdrop That or they're only on at some ridiculous time...But in terms of films I recommend pretty much anything by Monty Python, Airplane! and Shaun of the Dead. I have a warped sense of humor.
Also, can we suggest radio shows? And by we I mean me razz

Definitely Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (original mini-series, not the new movie). Also like the show LOST a lot, and the Father Ted series.
Has anyone else seen The Brittas Empire with Chris Barrie? I was a little disappointed because I was expecting a Rimmer-type character. Brittas was just a little too nice and naive for me.

Lol, I love the Brittas Empire! 3nodding I actually found it quite nice that Chris Barrie wasn't playing an uptight smeghead; it's nice to see actors do new things. Plus it meant he couldn't be typecast as a git all his life... sweatdrop
Hitchhikers!!! 4laugh I love it!!! GO FORD!!! (Original mini-series, not Movie-Ford. *shakes head* TV-Ford was cute... 3nodding )
My fave TV shows aaaaaaare....... RD, obviously, MASH, Only Fools and Horses, One Foot In The Grave, Father Ted, The Vicar of Dibley, My Family, Monty Python, Frasier, and Fawlty Towers. mrgreen "Don't mention the war!!!"

Anyone here ever seen 13th Warrior? I love it, but it sure isn't a popular movie! I also used to love The Kumars at 42.

"Just a flesh wound..." *kick!* "Look stop that-!" "Chicken! CHICKEN!!!" "Look, I'll have your legs!" *is kicked again* "RIGHT!" *bye bye legs!* "RIGHT, I'LL DO YOU FOR THAT!" "You'll what?!" "COME 'ERE!" "Whaddaya gonna do, BLEED on me?!?!" "I'M INVINCIBLE!!!" "........... You're a loony." "THE BLACK KNIGHT ALWAYS TRIUMPHS! HAVE AT YOU! Come on then!!!" *loses head!* "...........
