It had been another day to Eyota. He'd been run off from the kawani village for the day yet again after trying to help one of the two leggers. Only to knock down a large totem pole that fell into a food cart. Needless to say huge mess that would take at least a week to fully clean up.
He sighed has he bent his head down to the ground. The clearing was lush in spring and food was not something that was hard to find now something he was thankful for. Nibbling the small baby blades of grass Eyota was soon forgetting the disaster back village. It was his normal way of dealing with what a walking disaster he truly was.
Lost in his own simple world Eyota had no chance of noticing anyone coming his way.

Traveling was in his blood; the young stallion had followed the ways of his mother from foalhood into adulthood. Wystan did not travel with the North Wind, but instead traveled to where the cases were. The gold and red winged Soquili was on a case of importance at that moment in time; he just did not know what it was yet. His mind was focused on the task of discovering something that would lead him on to his next mystery. So far there was nothing on the road to lead him to the next big case.
Wystan’s awareness of what was happening around him was on high alert, even if it appeared to those around him that he was walking with his guard down. He had heard the other Soquili before he saw the stallion down the road. The stallion was of an earthy color and appeared lost in thought as he ate the green grass that was beneath his hooves; curious Wystan slowly approached wingless stallion, who appeared to have a medicine bag around his neck.
He stood there watching the stallion graze, wondering if he should interrupt his thoughts and asking him if there are any mysteries to be had in the general area.

Eyota was simply remembering now. Remembering his family he'd left just a few short months ago to become his own man. He missed them so much, that there was no doubt about it. He was scared at first still scared in fact. This was his first time ever being away from home, being away from people that put up with him messing up all the time. Once again the brown dappled stallion sighed and shook his white curly mane. He hoped to find someone that could put up with him here but sadly as of late he still was just as alone as he was when he first came here.
It was when he heard the soft tap of large foot steps coming from behind him. He would know the sound of another soquili's foot steps anywhere, so quickly he snapped his head up and glanced behind him to see just who was there. It was an...winged soquili? Eyota had never seen another soquili with wings before, no he had only heard stories from it from his papa back home. Funny because not only did this stallion have two wings he had four. A bit unneeded if you asked Eyota. "Hello sir~" He said in his cheery sing song voice. A wide ear to ear smile formed as he turned around to face the winded stallion that was quite larger then him. "How are you doing on this lovely day?"
Eyota was just making some simple steps closer to the angeni. But...Eyota is..Eyota. And he had as much grace as a stork with two broken legs. And well there just happened to be a fairly good size rock he didn't see and he didn't get even two steps before his hoof got caught on it, he stumbled, and then his smaller then most body came crashing down hard to the ground below. "Owww."

Wystan’s presence had startled the grounded soquili; he earth colored soquili’s head turned at his hoof falls. The winged Angeni paused as he let the other stallion look at him; Wys knew that the silver maned stallion noticed and counted the wings that the Angeni had upon his back. The grey bodied Angeni flicked his wings, he always forgot the reaction he got from others when they gazed upon his expanse of wings. “Hello sir,” Wystan gave the same greeting as the one standing in front of him. The Angeni smiled at the wingless soquili, “I am just fine, how are you? Are you from around here?”
The conversation that the two stallions were having was simple, but nice. Small talk. It had been a while since Wystan had a simple conversation with another breathing creature. His usual conversations evolved solving mysteries or cases that came his way; it was his job and he enjoyed it. The Angeni took pride in his work, he was a renowned Detective all though out the lands, or so he hope he was. He would travel and search for places that held a mystery; he would not leave until it was solved. When he was younger, he was constantly traveling because of this mother, now he continued her ways, but not because he had to, but because he wanted to. Wystan watched as the one in front of him, slowly made his way toward the Angeni. It was a sight to see, the soquili seemed to have tripped over his own four legs, but as Wystan looked down at the ground he noticed a hoof sized rock laying on the ground. The stallion fell forward onto the hard dirt ground and stopped at Wystan’s grey fluffy hooves.
It was not the question that one should usually ask when one finds someone in that kind of situation, but Wystan still asked it anyways, “Are you okay? Do you want my help getting up? That was quite the fall you took.”
