RP log between Kea's Thad and nessiaing's Peca
Thad crouched down, her little blue tuff of a tail wagging a mile a minute as she stalked her might prey. She would catch it and take it to momma! That poor Hopper wouldn't know what hit it!
Peca was just outside the pack. She was glad to get some time away, it wasn't that she didn't love her pups it was more that the whole thing had been so unexpected, she hadn't anticipated having a litter of pups without even being pregnant. She shook her head, these negative thoughts didn't belong there.
The white hyena made her way around her nose in the air smelling different scents that were there. It was strange smelling stuff other then what is in the pack
Thad's head jerked up as she looked around warily as she caught a strange scent on the wind. Ears flicking, she tried to puff herself up, " Go away! It's MY hopper!"
Peca felt herself jump, she hadn't anticipated running into a little one out here, and it was all on its own. A smile spread across the adults face, she quite enjoyed little ones. "I am sorry." she said gently not wanting to frighten to frighten the hopper away for the little one, it was good for her to play hunt, it would come handy for the little one later in life.
She bowed down to a laying position as to not seem threatening.
Blue ears flicked again before a sheepish smile came over the puppy's face. She wagged her tail in apology "I am sorry, momma says I not suppose to be rude."
Peca couldn't help but smile, it was very nice to see a young pup with manners. "OH its ok little one, you are doing wonderful, my little pups don't do nearly as well as you." she smiled, her pups tried their best but they were still learning.
"You are doing a wonderful job with that hopper, I wouldn't dream of trying to steal your hopper I would probably let it loose by mistake."
She beamed, puffing herself up happily. " Thank you. Da Hopper for momma!" She loved showing off for her mother who was always proud of her puppy.
"I am sure she will love her present little one." it was very sweet to see this little one who clearly loved her momma so much, she hoped that her pups loved her that much, and if they found out the truth didn't resent her for lieing to them, she had only done it to make them happy.
Realizing that she didn't know the young hyena's name and had been only calling her liitle one she paused, "I am sorry that I didn't ask you sooner my dear, whats your name darling?"
"I Thad!! But momma calls me Thadeka when she mad." She tucked her tail thinking about the few times in her young life she had gotten in trouble with her easy going mother.
"Thad, that is a very nice name." Peca told the young one, if her pups were any indication at all they really did like to know that their names were nice, it seemed to make them warm and fuzzy.
"I am Peca" she said with a grin, "I don't have a fancy long name like you its just short and simple" she smiled warmly at the pup. "Tell me more about your family do you have other siblings?" she asked, her pack was very focusd on family so she always liked to hear more about other's families.
"Yup! I have two brudders! One is old like.." She eeps faintly starting to have said old like you but that would be rude! "Uh, he isn't a puppy. De other one is was born wif me."
Peca had known where the little ones mind was going, she didn't mind though. Peca was a young at heart hyena, though now that she had more responsibility then she had bargained for she felt her self growing up more and more ever day.
"You are much like me" she said with a smile. "I have on brother who was born with me too, though I didn't have an older brother."
"My family is much big now though, I recently just became a mother.... I am in charge of seven little ones, five girls and two little boys."
