Ice continued walking down the market street glancing occasionally at wares behind the window that sparked her interest and rarely if she was interested enough, went into a shop. Though as much as she could Ice wasn't here to shop she was still trying to get herself familiar with the down since she had just transferred.

It would be so much easier to map from the sky. Ice sighed this was a pain. She started back to the base, It was starting to get late and she had a scouting mission again tomorrow morning. Bah, she missed being able to sleep in on her own bed. But she still had to do this at least it kept her away from that Moron she had to marry.

He pissed her off to no end... Ice Fumed as she approached the base entrance.

Urania was actually coming back from the post office to mail off letters to her family, and gifts for the rest of the year. She usually was out and about this time of day and was rather surprised when there seemed to be a bunch of folks around the base gate. The woman, in civvies at this time, blinked and continued forward.

"Whats going..." she began, then the mood kinda hit her. Both the other folks looked rather upset or annoyed by something or other. Her cheery nature might get in their way. So she just kinda stood there, blinking between the two...and then realized that the female kinda looked familiar.

"Hey! You're that hot-shot redler pilot! " Urania wasn't the best with observations, but she wasn't really trying to act solider right now.

Urania felt like a total fool for what she said, so she decided to smile cheerfully at them and hope no offense was taken. Maybe she should get out of the library more and talk to people. That would probably make this easier for her.

Before long, another person had come into view, and she was one who seemed to be in a better mood. After glancing at her for a moment, he turned his attention towards the white haired lady with his eye twitching out of annoyance. There was no masking that arrogance in her voice.

"Well excuse me princess," he muttered in reply, "But the name's Shun Kuroda, cadet."

The sudden shift in her demeanor did not impress him much either. He recognized the Glaston name to be that of a noble in the area, and he could only guess that the white haired one was in that circle as well. It sure explained that high and mighty attitude he picked up off of her. Well this was great. The lowly commoner was now in the presence of of two noble ladies.

Bent-Tail tilted his head at the two strangers before standing up and walking over by them, curious of who they were. His pilot didn't seem to like them a whole lot, but he didn't really care. He noticed that his pilot didn't generally like many people.

Princess eh she gave Shun a glare. how dare he. Ok granted yes she was as close to a Princess as a noblewoman could be but that said she still didn't like his tone. Though she glared she didn't respond he wasn't worth it. "I'll remember you're name Shun." she said she remembered hearing his name while some of the other soldier's gossiped. "Didn't you loose a saix if I'm not mistake to some rogue?" she said causally tossing the information up in the air.

"do you not keep track of the other nobles?" Ice was surprised, she'd figure Urania would know who she was right away. Any Proper Noble regardless of where they were placed should know both above and below. Obviously Urania was still new and didn't know what she had just done...

"I figure you didn't need my name since you should already know it." she pointed out rather innocently.

Urania glowered at the woman. Ugh! "Politics shouldn't matter. And I honestly don't give a damned about the Noble's and their hierarchy. So take your title and shove it up where the sun don't shine. I've enough of it from my family, I don't need someone else to remind me of our sudden status. " She realized that maybe acting out wasn't a good thing, but hey! That kinda rubbed her the wrong way. "No. I don't poke my nose in other people's business, to make it clearer. And Especially when I'm serving the country. That would be tactless and un-noble of me. "

The woman took a deep breath and smiled at the other human being. Oh god, she must be coming off as some horrible, no good, pilot. And he seemed to be slightly upset at the mentioning of a Saix. Was it really that degrading to get conned by someone? Urania had never had that happen to her, so she wasn't in the know about how it feels to get something taken from her that valuable. Her eyes darted between the two others.

Maybe she could use this later! HA! yeah right... she couldn't lie or con anyone out of a paper bag.

But at least the rodent was adorable and cute and sweet and didn't seem to have a problem with her. Urania knelt down and held out a hand to the little thing, smiling. She could barely contain her sqwee's of cuteness overload as the MRZ wriggled its nose. "So cuuute! "

How typical of a noble to be all friendly to another while practically brushing off a 'commoner'. In general, Shun hated politics, and it was a shame he wouldn't be getting away from it in the military. Oh well, he'd just have to put up with this one way or another he supposed.

It sure didn't help his mood much though.

"Keh!" he scoffed before muttering something inaudible under his breath. Most likely it had something to do with nobles. He then glanced over at his organoid, who seemed to be making friends pretty well with Urania.

To say that Bent-Tail loved the attention was probably an understatement. He let out a loud, but happy squeal, as he put his metallic paws into Urania's hands. His head then turned to look back at his pilot, as if saying, 'Look at my new friend! She isn't so bad now, is she?' The red spines along his back shook gently before he looked back at the female pilot.

She won, It wasn't that hard to beat this commoner, Talon was much more of a challenge. Now if only she could get rid of him like her fiancee, she wouldn't have been so annoyed if he wasn't a complete moron. Honestly did her father even think about how he was going to grow up?

Next she saw her father... She'd have a talk with him. Besides it was time to retire, it was late and she was grumpy.

"Farewell," she said, being reminded about her fiance put her back in a fowl mood.

Urania started bursting up laughing at the short and curt farewell... Oh, she'd trail that one and pounce on her and demand to know why she was all upset and all, but hey! For now she would play with this cute, adorable little... "Bent-tail? What a curious name. Suits him! And cheer up! Keep growling like that and you'll attract bad luck! "

She nodded at her name, though it was mostly out of training. She heard her name, and she nodded, or looked that way. And since it was directed at her, she would just nod. "She's just pissed that she's engaged to a clinger looser. Honestly, I don't blame her for being upset. You would too, then again... Arranged marriages aren't too common anywhere now a days. " Ranee might still be in ear shot of that, but Urania didn't mind. It wasn't politics, this was gossip! No one did gossip better then women who wanted to ignore their own problems.

The mammalian movements only made the girl giggle more. Ooh! She wanted her cat here so bad! She missed animal interactions, and so counted this as one. Bent-tail may be mechanical, but he seemed more animal like then anything she's seen so far.
