Maia stood in the park under the moonlight. No one else was around, but, who else would be around at this time of night. She was certain the park was actually closed, but she come here tonight because she knew that it was a place of frequent youma sightings.

She frowned slightly though now entirely sure how she would actually defeat a youma after she'd managed to calm it, making it so all slack like the last time. Hopefully, she would not have to figure that out tonight, she thought as she turned and headed further into the park.

Her heels clicked on the pavement and she wondered for a moment if she should walk in the grass. It hadn't rained recently and she wouldn't make as much noise as she walked around. If something was lurking it would be rather stupid of her to alert it of her presense.

She quickly stepped of the path, and continued on her steps now more of a soft pat and little crunches on some on the drier spots. She grinned glad to walking far more quietly.

It had been a quiet night so far on Argo Navis' patrol. Because of this she had allowed for a few moments of reprieve, leaning up against a tree in Destiny City's most prominent park. It'd been a few days since her last encounter with a Youma, and it didn't seem any more likely to be happening tonight.

She wasn't going to complain, however.

As this thought passed through her mind, it was only then that she noticed a silhouetted figure further down the way. She squinted, trying to make it out. Who in their right mind would be out here this late at night? A negaverse agent perhaps? A straggling Youma, or perhaps some ill-advised civilian with nothing better to do.

Pushing herself away from the tree, she gave a grunt. She really didn't want to start a fight, she was still bruised in over a dozen places, and they all ached at the idea of getting beat around again.

Whatever.

She moved closer to the subject, calling out rather gruffly "Hey!"

Maia turned to hearing someone call out to her. She frowned slighted watching the figure approach her as she really could not tell who it was. Best bet, it was a police officer and she could say she got lost on a way to a costume party. Worst bet, it was the negaverse, which ********* had warned her against even though she yet to met the negaverse.

"Hello," she called out bravely. She decided it would be in her best interest to stay put as the figure approached, but found herself moving toward the figure anyway.

Her frown began to fade as the figure seemed to be a ... a ... another sailor scout like herself. Oh who relieved she was to see another. She wasn't exactly how her cellphone worked so she had not tried to use it, but she really had wanted to meet another sailor scout.

She really wasn't sure how introductions were suppose to go as she came upon the girl. Was she suppose the know the other Sailor Scouts, she was so confused as to the whole ordeal.

And there it was, that sigh of relief that had been locked away in a ball of tension in the senshi's chest. Navis picked up her pace a bit, and moved up to greet the other senshi, giving a curt nod, and eying the girl's fuku and...

Wow she had bright hair.

"Argo Navis." she blurted out simply. "Sorry if I caught ya off guard, but I didn't know who, or what, you were. No offense." she shrugged and looked around.

"Slow night for you too?" the question came before Maia would have a chance to respond to her initial introduction. Her eyes moved from the new girl to outlining the area, guaranteeing that this wasn't some sort of setup. She looked back to Maia when she felt the coast was actually clear.

Maia smiled at the introduction and opened her mouth to introduce her self, but Argo Navis turned out another question causing Maia to blinking silently shutting her mouth.

She looked around as the other did wondering what exactly the girl was looking for. She certainly hoped it wasn't a youma. When the girl's attention was on her once more she held out her hand.

"Maia," she said softly, "and I haven't been out here for to long. Though I am glad I have not run into any trouble. My attacks are mostly defensive and I'm not entirely sure who exactly I could really beat an enemy."

Maia continued to smile, then a question that had plagued her popped into her head. She gave Navis a questioning looking before saying, "I'm also not entirely sure how the cellphone ********* gave me works. We did not have much time for an explanation."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:45 am

"It's not all about the attacks," Argo Navis chuckled a bit to herself, her memory defaulting to the time she'd creamed a youma with a trash can lid, and to the slightly more horrific end of said youma... death via hair pins ala Mu Cephi. "To be honest, you kinda give it a go with what you have to work with, least that's been my finding so far. Sadly, I'm rather defensive myself, but you gotta work with what's in your area."

She listened for a moment as Maia questioned the cellphone usage. Pulling out her own cell, she flipped it open. "It's pretty easy to use." she started, "See this?" she pointed, "this is where you switch it to scan mode" bloop, "and," she held it up to Maia, "since you're transformed, I just scanned you into my phone!" she grinned. "I now have your number, and can call you whenever I need to. If you do the same thing you can call me to whenever, if ever, you need me." Pausing for a moment to let that sink it, she continued on.

"You can also track the senshi you called so... let's say I called you and you answered, well if you look on the screen, I could see you as a lil yellow dot when I switch to map mode. Makes it pretty easy to find you." she flipped her phone closed.

"I think that's i... oh wait, I think you can also find senshi nearby who are transformed on the map. Don't think you have to call them, I may have misunderstood what Luna was saying."

Maia nodded happy to have the whole being a senshi in a battle thing explained to her. "That is quite a relief. I thought it would be a lot harder, but maybe it won't be so bad."

Maia looked around, 'work with what's in you area?' She could only see branches and a few rock and figured that would have to be good enough, if she was attacked here. The youma that attacked her did not seem terrible intelligent and she hoped that was the case for most of them.

She turned back to Navis as she began to explain the cellphones usage. She watched the girl scan in her phone number and was rather impressed by the phone. She pulled out her own phone and opened it as the girl paused intent on scanning the girl's number in as well, but the thought was lost as Navis began to speak again.

'So senshi can locate each other pretty easily,' she thought smiling.

When Navis finished speaking she held out her phone switching to scan mode and scanning in Argo Navis, "Thank you for explaining it to me. It seems easy enough to use, who is Luna," she asked grinning as the girl's number popped up in her phone.

It was fairly clear to Navis that Maia was really green. The senshi of St.Elmo's fire, herself, still had a lot to learn, but Maia must not have been around until after the huge senshi meeting that had occurred.

"Luna's a guardian cat. I think she's in charge of the whole thing based on what she said." she scratched her head a bit, "Anyways, apparently she has the ability to track all the senshi herself from some place called Central Command. I have no idea where that is personally, but hey, whatever. Kinda nice to know there's always eyes out there keeping watch, yanno?" she shrugged a bit, giving another quick look around the area.

"Anyways, none of it is really easy, but it could be worse. Just gotta keep on your toes." she grinned.

Maia looked around and wondered if they should keep moving along instead of standing in one place. It would be far easier for them to be caught of guard that way. "Yes, it is a very nice thing to know. I am very glad for it, though if she is watching we should probably keep moving through the park," she said motioning for Navis to continue on with her.

Maia frowned, "I figured I would have to keep on my toes, when I became Sailor Maia, I was being followed by a youma made of mud." Maia grimaced, "I would have become it's victim if ********* hadn't been there. She is guardian cat as well and she most defeat the youma, but my attack slowed it to a creeping halt though."

She was quiet for a moment before speaking again, "There is one other thing I was wondering about. ********* warned me not to trust the negaverse, but I have no idea what she meant by that. Though I have a feeling all of this is intertwined with the 'terrorist' attacks. Am I right?"
PostPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:40 am

"Hmm, yeah probably not a bad idea." with that, Argo Navis stretched out and started to walk next to the other senshi. "Mud youma, eh? Sounds pretty disgusting to me." she chuckled, "The creatures I've come across have been less on the disgusting side and more on the human-esque end of things. Though there was this one reptilian youma that was pretty gnarly." the senshi kept her head on a swivel.

"I've never, personally, run into a negaverse agent myself. Maybe that's for the best, I don't know. But either way from what I have come to understand, they are the ones, yes getting us in s**t for those 'terrorist' attacks. If you do happen to come across one though, you're likely in for a fight. I'd tend to agree with *********, don't trust them as far as you can throw them." she paused in her step for a moment.

"Yeah, definitely not worth the effort to try to be civil with them, cuz they're just gonna keep on doin' there thing."

Maia frowned slightly remembering the disgusting youma. "Yes," she agreed, "It was rather disgusting. I really abhore mud, the irony escaped me when it attacked though."

Maia walked along listening to the other senshi and taking in the information, happy to be getting some insight. She frowned thinking on the negaverse. It was a particularly confusing subject, because what she'd heard about the 'terrorist' was skewed and she wasn't entirely sure as to what they were really doing, though she knew there had been quite a bit of property damage. Her father's contracting company could contest to that.

She did not however wish to bore the girl her many questions, the answers she had given were enough for now. She couldn't trust the negaverse and it was something she obviously needed to remember.

She walked along silently for a few moment before turning to Navis, "Have you met any other senshi? You are the first that I have met."

She looked up to the dark sky, mostly vacant of stars, fore they were to near the city lights. "I wonder just how many senshi there are in the city, or maybe even the whole world. Could their be hundreds or thousands?"
PostPosted: Mon Mar 29, 2010 12:53 pm

Argo Navis was fine with the barrage of questions. Long as she had answers to provide the girl, she would continue providing them. When she inquired about senshi she herself had come across, her mind blitzed to the huge meeting of senshi under Luna's guidance.

However, on a personal level...

"Two, personally." she started, "Sailor Castor and Sailor MuCephi. Other than that, I've been mostly on my own." she shrugged, "Which is fine by me." she paused briefly.

"However, there are dozens, at least." she contemplated, trying to get a clearer number in her mind, but it would not be accurate at all. Obviously more senshi were being discovered as time went on, seeing that Maia had no recollection of the meeting.

"I've seen a lot of them, in a meeting, but never really spoke to them. Get in, get out, you know, that sort of thing. I'm sure you'll come across some other over time though. It's bound to happen, law of averages and numbers, yanno?" okay so she was just talking out her a** at this point, but Maia didn't need to know that. There was the possibility she'd never run into another senshi again! Unlikely, but possible.

"Sailor Castor and Sailor MuCephi huh," she said repeating their names wondering if she would run into either, she highly doubted it. That doubt doubled when Navis said there were at least a dozen senshi. A dozen in a city as large as Destiny, she counted herself lucky for meeting Navis.

"So you perfer to be a solo senshi, that's cool, but I think I would prefer a group or at least a partner. You know just in case." Not only that, but ********* had suggested it all well.

Maia hummed lightly in the nightlight, as she walked listening to Navis's explanation, but after a few moments she realized what she was doing and stopped. Humming was definitely counter-productive in the being stealthy department.

"I guess that makes sense. You've met three, counting me and I've met you, so maybe I will meet others."

Maia frowned momentarily hearing an odd noise, that seemed to be getting closer pretty quickly. It sounded like wheels and Maia wondered whether she and Navis should be seen by whomever or whatever was approaching.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:34 am

"Not necessarily a preference so much as it's just the way it's worked out so far for me." she laughed, "Though to be honest, I've never exactly been much of a people person, so like I said, fine by me." stretching her arms up above her head, the senshi gave a small yawn. It was a pretty easy night for patrolling, and admittedly it was nice to have someone to chat with for a partial night.

"Yeah, running into others really shouldn't be an issue. You can always try scanning for them when you're out and about if you really want to meet others. I haven't been arsed personally. I could be 20 feet away from some at some points likely and never know it." she laughed, the thought amusing her.

"If they were in trouble though, I'm sure they'd signal out anyways."

Maia nodded not really know what else to say. Navis had answered most of her question and she felt she had a much better understanding of the whole being a senshi business. The noise she heard from before was upon them and she almost visibly sighed when she saw a few teenagers skateboard past without so much as a glance at them, not that they were very visible anyway.

Maia simply had no desire to be attacked tonight and was very happy to find that her prayer were being answered.

She smiled lightly, "I most certainly would, well if I could that is. Who knows what the enemy may try to do to you. There is simply no telling. I am very glad that I haven't had a second run in, but I feel like it is only a matter of time. We are needed to fight the negaverse are we not?"
