A yawn rolled off the blue male's tongue as he stretched his limbs out. Mahaskah was a simple and rather lazy creature opting to take his time getting to his destination instead of hurrying alone like he probably should have. No he wasn't in any sort of rush at all because he knew exactly where he was going and who he was looking for. Being able to see into the future, and the past, definitely had it's advantages.

Now the male was a strong seer and if he thought about someone before he slept then he could almost be guaranteed to have a vision about said person. Plus it was very easy to separate his visions from his dreams. For one reason or another there was always some sort of fog in his visions, usually a color pertaining to whom he was dreaming about.

With his king it was a white, pale blue color, with Kota it was red and now with this mysterious female he was searching for it was a deep purple.

Now, as he pushed himself up and began to walk, he knew he was about to reach his destination; a small clearing surrounded by trees but with few flowers or anything of that sort. It was there that he knew he would find the female he was searching for.

Stupid flowers. Stupid sunshine. Stupid world. Makri accentuated every thought with the beating of her paw into the ground, and a slow grating of her claws across the flower patch she had decided to destroy while she wasn't doing anything else.

Everywhere that Makri went something was being too happy for her tastes, especially since she was in the foulest mood of her life. She wasn't keen on company, but every lion had needs, and she was a lioness that lived on feeding those alone and forgoing all else in life. She didn't care about grooming or cubs, she didn't give a damn about jewels or power.

She just wanted to find a damn suitable male. Where were all the males at?

The only ones she'd run across lately were either hideous or complete imbeciles. She might not care much for the fine things in life but even she had standards. The short time she was spending with these fools she had to at least enjoy - before she killed and/or maimed them, anyway.

"Why is this such a damn hard task?" she cursed aloud, staring up at the sky as if it was the cause of her predicament. "I should have just listened to that b*****d god." Even as she said it, it sounded wrong, because of all the males she'd ever met he'd been one of the most pompous and ignorant of them all. She probably would have rather slit her own throat.

It was only then that she saw a blue figure moving out of the corner of her vision, a blur she had previously attributed to part of the sky since it blended so well with the horizon beyond. Turning her head, she pushed herself up from the flower patch and turned her attention solely upon him. "Stop right there," there was no growl at least, even if it was full of warning, "what do you want fool?"

Maha moved rather slowly across the landscape seeming to be in no particular hurry to find whomever it was he was looking for. Hell it was a miracle that he had actually gotten up to do something and because of that he wanted to take his sweet time. Besides, it was rather refreshing to take a leisurely stroll especially since the surrounding area was different from where he had taken up residence.

While he had been waiting for Suijin to make up his mind to when they were actually returning to his pride lands he had stayed in a rather drier area where the grass was often yellow and crunchy. Not exactly his idea of comfort but it would do. Now this place, with it's green grass and flowers was definitely his idea of relaxation.

Too bad he wasn't aware of what exactly was in store for him.

The seer saw the dark purple female a few minutes before she spotted him mainly because he knew what she looked like and she stood out compared to their surrounding where he at least had a chance to blend in if the light was hitting him just right.

He observed her waiting for the moment that she would spot him and either call out to him or approach him. And call out to him she did. He didn't reply at first but merely halted as she had instructed.

"Only what you seek," he replied casually realizing, from her tone, that she was not one to piss off.

What stupid, cryptic babble. Makri wasn't exactly fond of vague answers, especially since she lived with Kip. Kip was always full of vague answers. Kip's only saving grace was that she couldn't help it.

Her brother had such odd tastes.

"Speak clearly," she emphasized her words with a small narrowing of her eyes and a vague crouch of her stance, "or I'll rip out your tongue so you can't speak at all." She wasn't normally quite this impatient and grouchy. She was both of those things for sure, but she did typically like to get a feel for a situation first.

This time she just wanted him to tell her bluntly what his business was, or shut up and leave. Otherwise she was going to take out all her frustrations on him since she was so far past compromise at this point. So much so that she seemed blind to the fact that he was her answer.

The pale blue male found himself smirking as she snapped at him. The female had quite the temper, something he had not seen in his visions of her, but he didn't mind. She was just another troublesome woman about to get what she wanted from him and that suited him just fine. He always got something out of it too and as long as that happened, he could deal with just about anything.

"Very well," he replied with a small shrug. He didn't feel like having his tongue ripped out, no that didn't sound pleasant at all. She was a testy one and he'd have to watch himself a bit more than he had originally planned. "Well you're looking for a male that isn't a complete and utter moron right?" he asked her letting his green eyes look over her.

He wouldn't say that she was pretty(definitely not cute either) but she still looked rather attractive in that dark foreboding sort of way. Plus with his vision he knew that approaching her, helping her would be in his benefit. Unfortunately he had no idea what her family was like and that it would all be for naught. It didn't matter, he was just focusing on the task at hand. "I am here to be the solution to your problem," he stated plainly.

"How do you know that?" she hissed lightly, her body further crouching down and readying her to spring. She was angry and not thinking clearly, but then, she wasn't the one in the family known for brains. It took only a moment for to put two and two together though, and she straightened up a little with narrowed eyes.

"Wait a second," she muttered beneath her breath, "cryptic babble, knowledge of things you shouldn't know." She trailed off as she took a few steps to the right, eying him up as she did so. He wasn't the worst specimen of the male gender she had ever seen, for sure, and if what she thought suspected was actually true, this was definitely a first.

"You're a seer, aren't you?" She asked, triumphant in her deductive skills. Sadly, if she didn't live with a seer every day she never would have known what to look for in another one. She was still side-stepping in a circle, slowly, eying him up and down. She at least seemed to be considering the offer - whether that was a good thing for him was yet to be seen.

"How does one know anything?" he inquired before silently cursing himself. He couldn't help it, the words just flowed from his lips with such ease. He was spending far too much time around the twisted and sometimes cryptic king of his. The other male's behavior was rubbing off on him at a completely inappropriate time. A time that could easily risk his life.

Ah, well it was too late to turn back now.

When she found her conclusion as to just how he knew of things that would otherwise be a secret he found himself smirking. She wasn't exactly quick-witted but she was smart, smart enough to figure out his seer status at least.

His green eyes never left her form as she circled him. He didn't move any part of him save for his head. He had to be wary, he was unsure if she would turn against him and attack or if she would just study him. Regardless he had to be careful in his movements even if his words betrayed him.

"I am. And that is how I know that you will accept my offer," he stated plainly hoping to help her make up her mind. He had seen her pregnant in his vision and he was certain that she was pregnant with his children otherwise he would not have found her.

All of his visions were of people that were connected to him in some way.

The cryptic little answer made her narrow her eyes a little, but she didn't attack and she didn't move a muscle closer to him. She had warned him against that kind of nonsense not five minutes ago and though she normally followed through with her threats, he had become a lion of interest.

"So I've had a staring role in a vision, hm?" She stood up a little straighter from her crouched position, each muscle slowly beginning to unwind. She was looking for something but had been scaring all the possible 'suitors' away with her own attitude. If he'd come here because he saw her in a vision, he already had to know about her attitude, right? That seemed like risky business, in her opinion. The thought made her smile, wicked as that smile was.

"Alright then, little boy blue, if you had enough guts to walk up to me knowing what you'd find here, then I guess you have to be worth the trouble of listening to this nonsense." It was an amusing twist to a bad day, but she wasn't going to complain. Her attitude seemed to have changed and her demeanor had relaxed almost entirely - or at least as much as it was going to for Makri.

"Just don't blame me if anything happens to you, got it? You're the seer, not me." And there was that wicked smile again, promising that excitement was just as likely to be mixed with a little danger.

"Multiple in fact," he informed her with a small shrug. She had been the primary factor in one vision, but there were a small string of visions in which all of the bigger players in his life had appeared. It ranged from most important, and biggest player, to least important. She had been near the end, but it had been the way she looked at him in that vision that had truly prompted him to seek her.

If she was important enough to appear in more than one vision, he definitely had to seek her out. Once he had gotten the blessing to, he had done just that.

"While I may seem crazy," he paused to turn to face her with his body. "You will find that you have more to gain from me that you might think," Maha stated plainly. He hadn't seen too much of her personality in his visions to know her well but from the way she had appeared so quickly before him in his first one meant that she would 'hit' him hard and fast.

He had seen enough of her actions to have a rather good idea of her personality and her behavior. He was well aware that he was treading into dangerous territory but he was willing to risk it.

"I am prepared," he told her. "I'm no fool, I know what you can be capable of."

She grew silent as he spoke about her being in multiple visions, trying to decide exactly what she could mean to this male if whatever higher being was responsible had tried so eagerly to send him her way. She supposed in the end it didn't really matter to her - she was getting what she wanted and for the most part, Makri usually only looked out for number one.

"I know I only want one thing at the moment and you are the solution, so don't make me regret my decision and maybe you won't regret yours." She flashed him another smile of bared teeth, then turned to head back towards a small patch of trees in the distance that she had passed earlier on her rather.. grumpy path out here.

"As long as we understand each other, blue boy," she called over her shoulder, only throwing back one glance at him. She wasn't going to stop and wait for him and she certainly wasn't going to ask him if he was coming. She simply expected him to follow her - if he didn't, well, she could assume he just wised up and changed his mind. She was inside the shade of the trees in no time and if he knew what was best for him, he wouldn't keep her waiting too long.

"It's hard to regret something when you know exactly what you are getting in to," he mumbled more to himself than to her. He understood what she was saying to him however, there was always the chance that things would not turn out the way expected. He had to be prepared.

He stayed where he was as she turned and began to walk away from him. "Understood," he replied waiting a minute before he began to trot after her. No more words were exchanged between the two as they slipped into the shadows of the trees and headed to whatever destination the female had in mind.

He was walking into an unfamiliar territory with a rather unfamiliar territory. He prayed to the gods that he really did know what he was doing.
