Noir had slipped away from his parents once again out and about. Honestly, Noir found it alot more pleasurable away from home. Sure he loved his good natured parents but the cub had so many other things he wanted to see and wanted to do.
So now the small cheetah was weaving his way through the tall grasses. His dark pelt did him good to keep him concealed but his bright green fur betrayed him making him perfectly viewable to any passer byer. This had not yet occurred to the small cheetah as he padded along the tall grass.
Little paws made a small pitter patter sound as he went along in high spirits. Everything was so new, so fun so amazing.
He rather liked it. The cub just wanted more! Maybe he'd make a friend. Yeah, he'd like that.

Lounging on the lowest branches of a wide tree a lone leopard sprawled and slept lightly, he was tired but cub free today, he'd decided he wanted to make the most of it!
... After a nap that is.
Drifting in and out, his ears naturally still swiveled for the sound of cubs getting into trouble, now after the large handful of weeks he's been watching over his own cubs he wasn't as skiddish and terrified of little ones, of course his first encounters with a certain cheetah cub had originally helped aquatint him with kids to begin with.
"Fiyv, Em?" He murmured without opening his dark eyes, "stay close now- Oh right." De blinked a few times and looked around for the source of the sound of tiny paws.

The tiny paws continued to scurry across the plains. Noir was feeling a bit like a jungle bloke on a high adventure now that he was so far away from his parents. Yeah, he was a regular mowgli out and about all on his own.
The cubs ego filled more and more as he went along. Each passing paw step was enough to inflate all that much more. That was until he heard a voice. Eeep! The cub froze.
"Some one out 'ere?" He called looking about. Funny, he didn't see anyone? That was when he noticed a puddle. The cub peered down at it. He could see his own reflection quite clearly in the small puddle.
"Was tha' you then?" He smiled, "My you're a handsome devil you are. Fancy meetin' such a fashionable trend setter aren't you? " The cub grinned down at his own reflection for a small period of time before growing bored of his game. This wasn't what he came out here for. Oh, if only there was a way he could take his reflection with him. Then he could stare and get lost in his own eyes when ever he wanted. What fun.

The leopard caught sight of the tiny cub and shifted, sliding gracelessly out of the tree as the little male flirted with his own reflection, he landed on all fours this time, at least not falling on his head and shook himself, grinning widely, but otherwise containing his mirth at the personality the boy cub possessed.
"'Ov'r 'ere, hey?" He raised an eyebrow, still grinning in a friendly sort of way, cheetah babies were so adorably fuzzy. "Lost your way, kiddo? Yer not gonna find nuffin' bot a damp 'ead if yer stick ta staring inta puddles, yea."
Unlike usual leopards Tu'de had grown to love company and messing about for hours on end, playing and finding new things to do, he's been an adult for a long while yet, but had never quite grown up, despite having a litter of little ones now.

Noir turned his head, only to see nothing but tall grass. Mmm, strange, the cheetah frowned and looked up. His face lit up almost instantly at the sight of some one new. And he had a cool voice to top it all off with.
The cheetah padded on over to the great big, what ever this creature was. Noir was sure this blue haired thing wasn't a lion. He heard lions had an odd puffy thing of hair at the end of their tails and this creature lacked that. He wasn't a cheetah either, to big. So what was this strange new thing.
"So wha' are you then?" He sat down looking up at the stranger with a rather confident grin across his maw. Noir had no reason to be afraid of anything since he had yet to have a bad conflict. That .. and something about the boy just that naive. It bled through that silly little smirk on his face and his wide blue eyes.

"Eh?" De blinked, "A leopard, wot else." He kept grinning and it dawned on him that this just might be the little guy's first meeting with someone he wasn't related to, but then maybe that meant that his folks weren't too far behind. He wasn't scared mind you, not of -cheetahs- anyway, or so he told himself, but better to be cautious...?
He stared blankly at the cub for a bit, lost on what else to say to him, wanting to make a good impression on him for himself, his species and the rest of the world in general. It wasn't all that bad once you got a chance to really see it after all, even though there was a bad element lurking if you weren't careful, and some people were just a nasty sort, but mostly people were alright when given a chance... De ended up staring blankly for far too long, his train of thought seem to have derailed its self.
"Bot dun't worry, it's not really all that bad!"

Noir stayed quiet watching the male as he stared at him. Wouldn't really call Noir's watching staring though, he blinked far to often for that sort of thing. But the cub was interested in what this leopard had to say.
"Not all that bad?" The cub couldn't help but repeat that last bit. Hmm what were they talking about. Noir really didn't care, he had already decided that he'd get along well with this leopard. It showed in his smile.
"Wot's not all that bad again?" The cub had been thinking of his reflection in all honesty, instead of paying attention. The staring had thrown him off. Mainly things he could do with his mane.

"Erm, th' world, in general, welcome to it." De flopped down to be at eye level with the cub, tucking a paw in, kids could be so exhausting!
"So wot's yer name, tike? I'm Tu'de" He didn't feel the need to try and explain the longer version of it anymore and he was glad that the cub didn't seem to mind his scattered ness. Most others besides his family and close friends, didn't think much of him because of it, maybe even some of them didn't but at least they were kind about not really letting on.
"Wots brought yer 'ere ta visit this bit o' th' world, hey?"

Noir really didnt mind the others scatteredness. The cub really had no one beside his father mother and brother to compare him to though. De was the first outsider he'd ever met ... that wasn't eatable. He'd met plenty of those, though they had been dead. Tasty and dead.
"World in general?" Noir repeated De again his charming grin never straying from his maw. "My names Noir. I guess I came here thinkin' I'd maybe find somethin. So far i's just been a whole lot uh grass and what not. I did find my self though I suppose."
He was referring to his reflection. It wasn't the first time Noir had found it either but Noir was amused every time he did find it.
The young cub couldn't help but stare up at the older leopards eyes, "Wots with your eyes mate? Their really wicked ~ " He nodded, "Don't think I seen any like that."

De nodded, shifting to get more comfortable on the ground while he visited with the cub."Ye found me too, or at least I was found, not that I was lost or anyfing, though I have been lost before, It's not at all exciting as it sounds. So I hope ye know yer way back, even if ye gotta go forward ta get there." He smiled, thinking he was giving good advice, it made sense to him at least.
Tu'de shifted again, looking at Noir who stared back, De noticed he got a lot of stares, but that question actually came up rarely, he grinned sheepishly. "Oh, un, I, er fell outta a tree when I was small, erm, landed right on me face I did. They been bruised like ever since, I dun't really remember the color they was before actually... They mighta been somefing like yours though, its a good color. Very clear. Bot I fell outta trees a lot, kinna gotten better at not doin that now. Bit o a disgrace ta my kind, hey, since we suppose ta be experts at it 'n all."

Noir took note of the tree falling. It was something maybe he'd try.... wait he couldn't climb trees. So much for that plan. But in all honesty, Noir dug those eyes. It showed in the glint in his eye as he absorbed those two black pits in to his brain.
"Really wicked mate," He repeated and nodded. They truly were really wicked.
"Maybe I don't want to be unlost. I just got started now didn't I? What fun would tha' be if I just clicked my heels and went back. No way, I want to hang wiff you mate," He nodded. It made sense.
"Well come on then, lets go together on an adventure," Noir had already decided he and this leopard got along great. In Noirs mind, the two were friends already.
