i watch alot of bad tv and by bad tv i dont just mean the trash tv i seem to be addicted to, i mean the shows with just really bad writting and terrible acting
my current obsession is the secret life of the american teenager. its so horrible and i cant tell if they mean it all as a joke or if they are serious. to me this show is like a bad car wreck and i just cant look away. its almost umbearable to watch but i always tune in to see what crazy thing will happen next.
the acting is the only thing thats worse than the writting with this show but im addicted to it lol
so what bad tv show is keeping you held captive?

The 'Jersey Shore'. But I have an excuse; I live in Seaside Park which is the town next to Seaside Heights. In fact I know a couple of cops that have responded to that house. O and an update: the 'Jersey Shore' house was tagged with "Benny Go Home". We locals call tourists benny's, in case you didn't know.

All those "For the love of" shows. D= They're hilariously horrible, and I love it. Those people get in fights for absolutely no reason and do the dumbest stuff.
Also, the really bad Syfy movies on every Saturday evening. Oh, they're so fun to watch. This was the one last week. Oh so bad. I think the explanation for the creature being there was that it had been frozen in ice and in some sort of suspended animation/hibernation that long? Because it totally wouldn't be super-susceptible to modern germs and infections even if that were possible. =D

Benny is an anagram - Brooklyn, Essex [county], Newark, New York. Those are the biggest areas where tourists come from. And you would be mean too if you had those a--holes running around town treating you like trash.

the only reason tourists come here is for the pretty rock formations. bad tv i've been known to watch is those love shows on vh1, because they are pathetically stupid. it really depends if i'm depressed or not if i get sucked in. if i'm not, i'll do other things. guess i'm also a sucker for tool academy. which is bad. this is funny coming from an animal guild. i don't think those animal planet documentaries on yellowstone and all that my husband loves to watch count as bad tv huh?

I watched something called "Basilisk" on SyFy once (might have been SciFi at the time)... I think it involved a lot of characters blabbing about how to kill an effing big snake. Idk. And I think I caught them with the adaptations of the Discworld books Color of Magic/The Light Fantastic once. Was... interesting xD; ( *is enough of a Discworld fan to have enjoyed it* >>; <<; )
But sadly without TV the late-night stupid TV watching doesn't happen anymore...

"); Aaaw. I'd be quite sad without my weekly Syfy fix. I feel your pain....
I've seen that Basilisk one: another one where plot, common sense and 3-dimensional characters were entirely lacking. =D
Actually, they did an Alice 4-hour special a while back (might still be able to find it on Youtube) that I really enjoyed. I'm sure they released it to compete with the Tim Burton movie, and critics only gave it okay reviews, but whatever. I thought it was good enough to pre-order the DVD. 3nodding

Series tend to be hit or miss. I wonder when or if they're going to come out with a new season of Warehouse 13?

No clue what the motel series is. I really like their Sanctuary, though. I've watched both seasons (though I might've missed some eps of this last one). I thought it would be a huge ripoff of the Hellboy graphic novels, but I was pleasantly surprised that it's not at all.
