The purple haired teen skipped along, ignoring the puddles from the previous night's rain as she splashed through down the street. The dismal grey skies seemed to have no affect on her bright and cheerful mood; then again, it was doubtful anything less than a tornado or hurricane would. She gave the little tyke she carried a gentle hug before checking her messenger bag. Yep, it was still there.
She paused in front of the building, head tilting in curiosity. She'd never seen such a big building that people lived in! Mom said these things were called "apartments". Cool! The girl headed into the apartment complex, letting her inner GPS guide the way to the right door. She grinned brightly, knocking out a beat on the door. "We're here!" she told the little bundle of adorable she held in her arms.

The door was opened by a very familiar starry dotted face. "JAEEEEEEE!" Oriiohn squealed, darting out to hug the other girl and grin, clapping her hands.
In the doorway, two little boys poked their heads out. They were a tad older than Aiden but looked like they could be Jaella's sons. The two boys flicked their tails and waved, each non-identical face bearing matching friendly grins. "hi there!" they greeted the new kidling. New kid new kid!
A third face came out behind Orii now, a blue skinned female with purple hair and big sunglasses. She spotted the baby and immediately began to coo, reaching out to tickle his tummy. "How sweet!"

Jaella grinned, hugging Oriiohn with one arm. "Great to see you!" she chirped, giggling. She then looked to the two tiny tots, waving to then enthusiastically. She was about to greet the two when her inner GPS gave her a mental beep. Target nearby!
"Hiyas!" she greeted, looking at the new blue person. "Are you...." The teen paused, fishing in her bag a moment before pulling out a crumpled slip of paper. "Miss Nolan?" she asked, finishing her question with a bright grin.

"Yeah that's Lanny!" Orii said with a huge smile, reaching out to sling an arm around her sister.
Nolan looked confused, "You know my name. Does this mean..." she brightened then, "He's for meeeeeee?"

Jaella grinned, holding the little fairy-incubus-cutie boy out to Nolan. "Yep! He sure is~" she said, her tone cheerful. "His name's Aiden. His old family couldn't take care of him anymore, so Mom had me deliver him to a good home." The teen's smiled widened a bit. "I know he'll be in good hands here."
The girl made a small "oh!" sound as she remembered something, reaching her free hand down to fish around in her messenger bag. "Here!" she said, holding out a little pinkish-salmon pendant. "Mom said to put this on Aiden. Something about troublesome dust or something." Apparently, she hadn't realized that she was supposed to have put it on the boy before she delivered him to his new home. Oh well.

"Oh, I wonder what it does?" came a third voice, this time from a yellow skinned female who poked her head out of the door to see the baby her sister was being given. Immediately, Aiden began to flap his wings out of nervousness and the strange dust started to spray, causing Wamii to sneeze.
"Eek, it's like weird sugar." the eldest sister said, backing off and going inside.
Nolan pouted, "But it's cute!" she said, hooking the necklace on the infant, which he immediately started to fidget with. Weird necklace!
Orii, noticing it'd made Wamii sneeze (and having no idea that it'd have completely different effects on someone who wasn't one of her sisters) carefully pulled Riya and Roshan back, picking them up. "Let's stay away from the sneezy dust. You don't wanna have the sneezles and weasels."
The twins looked confused, "Jae stay for tea?" Riya asked hopefully, nose still wrinkled at the funny sparkles on the floor. He wanted to play in it!

Jaella stepped back from t he fluttering poof of glittery dust. "Pretties!" she said, giggling a bit. "I think that's what Mom was talking about." She then looked to Riya, thinking a moment. "Sure! If it's okay. I love tea!" By tea, she meant 50% sugar with a little bit of tea in it, but eh.

The twins nodded and Orii laughed carrying them inside and moving out of the way so Jae could get in.
"We make our tea super sweet in the pot already, sorry." Nolan added, carrying Aiden in and bouncing him a bit, making little cooing noises to the baby. Oh he'd be such fun!

Jaella smiled brightly, stepping inside the door. Oooh, her first time in an apartment! Yay! "That's great! I love sweet tea; it's the best." she said, giggling a bit as she stepper further into the unfamiliar abode.

It was a nice little place with a TV and a couch you could sit on and see right into the open kitchen. Down the hall were bedroom doors and a bathroom and a closet. It was quaint and small but cute.
"S'a good thing it's a boy." Steve commented, "we don't have rooms for girls." and it was true - there were only two bedrooms and one obviously had to be for the mothers.

Jaella smiled, looking around in curiosity and awe. "These apartment thingies are AWESOME!" she exclaimed, giggling and clapping her hands together. She looked at Steve a moment, not bothering to mask the confused look on her face. What did it matter if it was a boy or not? Oh wells.
"Oooh, you have pretty tentacles! They're all rainbowy and cool!" she said, just now noticing the boy's appendages.

"Oh, um, thanks. That one's Boris and that one's Nat'sha." the toddler said, pointing to each in turn. They were nice, weren't they?
Wamii smiled, getting out the teapot to pour some for Jaella. "Come sit down!" she said cheerily, pointing to seats around their table.

Jaella smiled, waving to the tentacles. "They have names; that's so awesome." she said, grinning. She looked over to the table, grinning. "Kay!" she replied,making her way over to the table and taking a seat. "Thanks again for the tea!"

"No problem." Nolan said, bouncing her new baby on her lap and offering him a cookie. Aiden pouted but nibbled it just the same. Mmm sweets.
"We love company." Orii said cheerily, flopping down next to Jae to hug her.

Jaella smiled brightly, welcoming the hug and returning it with one of her own. She then looked to the pouty baby, offering the little fella a smile. "What's wrong, Aiden?" she asked, picking up her cup of tea and taking a drink.
"Ooooh....what kind of tea is this?" she asked, grinning. "It's yummyful!"
