Alright. So most people keep up with the Gaia storyline updates, right?
Well, I do anyway.
So just recently we get this new hero (Gino or not, but I'm saying it is) named The Masque. Immaturely I giggle and think this is a PotO rip-off of sorts. I mean honestly. Fancy dress and mask, fedora... fedora... *ahem*
So Painted_Black and I came up with the bogus yet phangirl-friendly theory of this new hero:
Okay, even if you don't agree, let's just say it's Gino. Since Gino went bye-bye in a fire, there's no way in hell he got out without being burnt. Namely, let's say his face gets scarred. See where I'm going?
So on New Years he woos Sasha down into the hidden lairs of the Durem Gambino mansion and all that good stuff and Ian gets to play Raoul (mullet not included) and try and save her from the maddened, now horridly ugly Gino!
And tada!

You know I thought 'Erik!' the first time I saw him too! (the previous storyline update, stopping Santa and Jack) But, I then thought, it was just me being crazy with guys with masks and swoosh-y cloaks.
Although the thing with Ian and Sasha is something I didn't think of... go Uta and Painted_Black! whee It makes perfect sense! The Admins must be annoyed with the high growth rate of the phans on Gaia or something, so they wanted to appease them blaugh

I thought if I was going to be so bold as to apply it to Gino (or The Masque as the guy is called now) I might as well connect the dots with the other two. It was funny how ironic it seemed. What would kill me is if all this happened. XD Baka: I stalk many parts of Gaia, but I like the GCD only because reading the many idiotic theories and opinions amuse me. I hardly ever post there, though.

Wow, Utakan, you are really observant. I didn't pick up on that. Then again, I don't really follow the storyline that closely. It would be pretty awesome if they were doing a whole PotO type thing.
If so...Gaia's finally giving us phans deserved recognition as a subculture. Sort of. Eheh, I don't know. But it's a start anyway.

Actually, I think I over-analyze too much. Either way, it gets me pulling ideas out of my hat like crazy. XP
I just thought it was humorous irony that PotO could be applied so easily to this.

I think this is a true theory as well, but only one problem... The Masque has violet eyes, and doesn't Gino have golden ones or something... sweatdrop I'm not entirely sure... So if someone would be so kind as to clear this up... I haven't been able to fully follow the storyline. My computer can be soooo stupid sometimes...
And you know that if it where true I'd be singing Down Once More/ Track Down that Murderer... ^.^

Personally I think Gino is the phan-er...hero/guy/thing..too and didn't he have those pills or something that Ian was going to accuse him of taking...that probably makes him transform or something. Of course transforming woul throw off the scared face but hell I want him to steal Sasha too; although I've always had a soft spot for how Raoul got screwed and I don't want the same thing happening to Ian because I mean...he's a nice guy, and that should count for something...

*Snicker* "Your phantom obsession inclines you to attatch Erik-love to anybody in a mask". I just got the weirdest image of Utakan running up to a stranger in a mask and loudly professing her love to that stranger. *Weirded out*
But Ian is the jealous sort, not exactly the kind of guy you'd like to end up with in the end. Though Gino is pushing the age-limit a bit, what with him being seventeen and all.
Though to be honest, I thought Ian was hot at one time.

You probably have a point, RDS. Though, the conversation between PB and I that lead to this was a simple making fun of the comparisons between Gino and Erik on the mask thing. The rest was the icing to the cake.

I don't think you can compare Ian and Raoul... just because Ian.. I dunno... Ian's a pervert... not as much as Liam per se but yeah... Something he used to say was like "You should check out Sasha's wares... oh and look at the clothes she's selling too." I dunno. If some guy (or girl) said that about my breasts I wouldn't refrain from smacking them. HARD. I don't like Ian that much... but I do like Raoul. If by some bizarre twist of fate made me have to be with a guy, I would want to be with a guy like Raoul.

I never thought any of the NPCs were hot. o_o Then again I suppose I was too busy demanding clothes-pixels from them to notice if any one of them tickled my fancy. Yeah, Ian's a widdle pervy. But I suppose if you had a crush on a girl who wore a bikini even on Christmas (I mean for goodness sake, it's SNOWING where she is! ...and the rest of Gaia) I'd be pretty damn pervy too. Or carrying a knife to cut the strings with. But that just makes me wonder what Ian would do to "The Masque". I imagine he'd sissy-slap the guy into submission. Or whack him with Rufus. XD
