Well, I'm now beginning to wonder when they planned on starting it. I'll be gone most of next weekend. It it hadn't been a dev posting, I wouldn't have believed... now I"m wondering

It is kind of sad that there wont be a main event. Well at least they are doing an event in zomg. I hope it is a fun event.

There is now clamor that there will be a site event too.
Easter zOMG and page 5 for site event link
But at this point unless they let it linger to next week, I'll be missing most of it. I have to work this weekend. I have to say I"m very disappointed

There's a zOMG! update scheduled for tomorrow, the announcement includes info on the Easter zOMG! event! zOMG! Update - Apr. 1 12-3 PM PST - Gnome General, EasterQuote: Easter: -Easter 2009 egg-hunt returns. New for 2010: -A rare Golden Egg. Find this egg and get your friends to help you crack it open and you will all receive a special egg that will hatch some time after the event ends. -Some Easter Eggs will hatch chicks that you can capture and equip. In Village, they'll also follow you around until you leave the zone or log out. -The new Strawberry Sundae Sweets item and two new badges to achieve. -Village Greens is now fabulously pastel. Easter runs until April 11th - two-weeks from this coming Sunday - so get in and check it out while you can. Have fun!

Iggies is in playing it now. So far in VG if you get a peeps to follow you, you also get one that is an item. SHe has a follower she named Fred.
I don't know if the eggs are game wide or not.

Golden eggs are cl 20.0 so many people can hit and get the gold and a golden ticket. Not sure what it does yet, I haven't looked. The eggs are giving @100 gold or higher each.
I have been playing waaay to long today XD

Eggs and chicks are on every part of the game as far as I can see. I've been online most of the day and I hevent seen a golden egg yet sad

The churpy's that follow I think are only in Greens. But yea the cheeps are on every land that has eggs.
I"m so pathetic, but it took being on for about 5 hrs strait yesterday in Greens before I heard the call to help kill a golden egg. After... cough... 9hrs... cough... I only saw the 1 golden egg.
Yay kids being gone!
