Derecho sat watching is siblings across the was, well he wasn't making it obvious he was watching them bu he was, or at least two of them. For once he wasn't sure where Aleu had run off too. It was Raiden and Tempest he watched - the two were always together now it seemed and always whispering with each other. Snorting slightly Derecho chewed at a small twig caught between his paw pads with a surly expression on his face as he tried - and not for the first time - to figure out just what they were talking about.

Derecho started as Aleu burst from the bushes and came halfway to his feet before she plowed into him and sent him sprawling to the ground. With anyone else in the pack this sort of thing would cause Derecho to fall into a considerable temper..but since it was Aleu he merely gave her a sour look and made a mock snap at her foreleg before skittering out from underneath her and shaking out his pelt.

"So you did" He admitted "What have you been up to this morning anyways? You were gone early as deer dung"

"You spend allot of time with that Lynx" Derecho commented, though his voice didn't seem to give away any distaste for this. The Lynx seemed to be a decent enough friend for Aleu, so far anyways. Better then..a male wolf anyways, even the thought of some flea bitten mongrel making googly eyes at his sister made Derecho growl slightly, Aleu was better then that and he'd make sure she was treated properly by any courting males when the time came. On the threat of excessive violence if they didn't comply.

But enough of that he huffed slightly as his thoughts returned to an even more irritating problem then possible mongrels, two wayward siblings "Them" He told Aleu without any more explanation. She would know who he was talking about.

Derecho choose not to comment on the Lynx any further - Aleu was typically good natured true but she did have a temper and Derecho wasn't in the mood to have all three of his siblings acting off and anti-social. He sighed slightly.

"Me too" He told his sister truthfully "But have you ever tried talking to them about anything? They just make excuses and wander off or don't answer. I know it worries mother too" He continued as he studied his siblings. He'd once felt pretty close to Tempest and recalled with some sadness the happy go lucky pup that had collected rocks with him by the river.

"Maybe I should do the same" He told Aleu softly as she admitted to no longer trying to bridge the gap between them and the rest of their litter mates. "Sometimes I think it is harder to keep trying and keep hoping then it would be to just let go...i mean we got along fine after they left right? WE'll get along fine without them now too" He stated firmly, though at least when they were gone they weren't running about waving their tails in their faces all the time and making Derecho recall what they no longer had.

"I hate that they are upsetting mother - she tries so hard to make this pack a good home and dealing with fathers change is enough. it's selfish of them to continue acting like this" He continued in sour voice despite the fact that neither he nor Aleu really knew exactly why they did so. If they weren't willing to talk about it or tell anyone about then they should just...get over it!

"Indeed" Derecho agreed with his sister, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye for a moment though the majority of his attention remained on Raiden and Tempest, and then as thought worried that Aleu might stress over this conversation later he hurried to add "I'm sure you are right, Mother will be fine and we shall keep an eye out for each other. What they end up doing is up to them and we shouldn't let it bother us anymore" He concluded with a slight nod og his head, as though simply declaring it to be so..made it that way.

Derecho's grudging glare at his siblings was turned away as Aleu tapped him on the paw, a slight twitch of his lips something that might have been a smile developing on his maw before he stood gave her a quick nod. "Sounds better then sitting around here anyways" He told her "Come on...I'm betting she's out looking for bears again" He told Aleu with a slight chuckled before heading off into the woods.
