Victoria who was still a bit on the angry side at her dad for how he mistook the whole situation stormed into the house.

Vlad decided it was again just best to leave things alone. He hoped that perhaps her mother would be able to give her some words of wisdom.

In his arms was a naked green girl. Who thankfully at the moment was calm and half asleep. It was a considerable bit of difference from just moments ago when she was bouncing up and down demanding to be picked up.

Lucifel yawned and rubbed her face against her daddy's shoulder. She rubbed the back of her hand against her nose. Everything was going to be just fine.

"A ******** mess," Cassara growled as she pointed at Victoria who had just stormed by her mother without so much as a hello. "One problem fixed and another arises. What a ******** mess..."

Her attention was drawn back to her wife when she saw the hand brush against the green girls face. "Lucifel," she said a bit quieter. But only because the little one was stirring. Lucifel's item was still twisted around her fingers and hand.

Lucifel's nose wrinkled when the hand brushed her hair away from her face. Due to her yawning what she was saying was just mumbled gibberish. She blinked a couple times as everything came into focus.

"She spent the ******** night with Kay..." to hell with controlling her temper, her language. She was still pissed even if she had been calmed slight just moments earlier. Blame the walk home and time to brew over it some more. "******** slept with him to!" She growled.

"Not like that!" Victoria hollered from down the hall. "I'm not a two bit tramp!" She hadn't said it before in the shop... which was rather amazing considering how she felt and what she'd already said and done. "Take it back now!" She growled. "I cannot believe that I ever thought about actually needing you!" Her mind strayed back to the moment when she slid down the glass doors of the shop. When she was broken...

Not that they could hear or see it but she was crying. She was flustered. Red eyed and all.

Lucifel yawned again. All this yelling was making it hard for her to sleep. And the good part is she didn't understand a world of it. She was still adjusting to the world around her. To life in general.

Thankfully Lucifel had been taken out of his arms just in time. His fingers where turning into claws again. She had learned not to clench her fists in these moments. Despite the prodding he stop in the hall. Taking a moment to calm down. The last thing he needed to do was to tear his children apart- especially the one he was angry with. He wrapped his tail around his leg. He could feel the squeeze. But, it was worth it for the fact that walls were not being torn down by the violet thrashing that could have been. Finally, he stepped into Victoria's room.

"Enough is enough... On your part and mine." His teeth were gritting. He was still doing his best to remain in control. It was hard when his temper had peeked to get it leveled out again. He knew it would take years of practice. "This isn't doing us any good. It just just tearing us apart further. Family sticks together." 'Together' was strung out as if it was hard to say.

Victoria hiccuped as she looked up at her dad. She was in a world of her own as far as emotions and hormones went. It was hard to know what was up and what was down when your live was all turned around. She was still amazed that Kay just hours ago had made her understand that she was being silly about their last argument. Now she wasn't exactly sure who was being silly. She wished Kay were here... He always knew exactly what to say.

Victoria found herself unable to give her dad a reply. Instead she burst into tears again and crumpled onto the floor. She was unaware that her mom (holding Lucifel) was behind her dad.

Cassara felt like a teenager all over again. Everything was inside out, and upside down. She, who thought she had control, did not. Seeing Victoria crumple made her wonder if she'd turned into a some hideous monster. Without word, question, or any other expression she took a stepped back. Her tail uncurling as she tripped on out of the room.

Victoria looked to her mom. Why was it always her that was there to offer comfort. To stand in between them? Why did she side with him? But also with her?

Her mom was warm- hugs were always warm. Just about at a level of comfort where she could settle down is when she noticed her dad stumble out of the room.

She wiggled herself from her mothers hold and headed for him. As angry as they both were... She was worried- all over again. She was worried that she had done something wrong for him to hate her- to not want her anymore.

Suddenly she felt herself slipping down the glass doors again...

What would happen to her if her dad (guardian) didn't want her? Would she simply not continue to exist? Death... Darkness... Uncertainty crept into her mind... Suddenly she had a more developed concept of her new fear...

Lucifel yawned as she sat up. He rubbed her eyes and shivered a bit. Everything smelled funny. But that familiar smell of who had carried her home was not around. She pushed her self into a standing position. And, wobbly as she was headed for the door.

"Up! Up!" Lucifel chanted her favorite and currently one word that she knew well. She sat on the floor and stretched up her hands. "Up! Up!"
