Also revealed in GTTV, a new DLC for Left 4 Dead will be released where a player must sacrifice themselves at the end so that their team can escape, giving them the choice on who dies. Also stated that the Comic Book story of the same DLC will give you the actual story of who dies."

EDIT: It's confirmed that it is either Bill or Louis who will die, with the fact that Nick and Francis will have "unique" conversations, and that Ellis will start to have a crush on Zoey. Either way with the L4D1 DLC the players decide who is sacrificed, but the comic book and L4D2 DLC will reveal who is actually sacrificed

More proof: Since they could not contact Bill's voice actor during the development of Crash Course (hence why Bill does not get any new lines) it is uncertain if they managed to contact said voice actor for The Passing
