Tetsu jhopped off the boat and turned to her team. "Well here we are, come on we got a long way to go." she said and was about to start leading the way until she heard the flapping of wings and looked up to see a birdflying in their direction. She held out her arm for the messenger bird to land on and used her other hand to untie the message. She opened it up and scanned it quickly before nodding and quickly scribbling down another message as the bird perched on her shoulder. Then she tied the new message to the bird's leg and sent it off once more. She turned her head and glanced at Hanjin. "That was a message from Lady Mizukage... you are elligable for the chunin exams and are to report back to the village emedietly. So take the boat and head back now while we go and finish the mission." she said and made a handsign, makeing a water clone. "My clone will esscort you, so we'll be seeing you." she said with a dismissive wave and glanced at the other two remaining gennin. "Come on let's get moveing." she said.

Tetsu walked ahead of the two genin with her hands behind her head as she marched through the snow. "I told you two there was nothing to worry about, so after this we will just go to the snow village, deliver tne message, blah, blah, blah and then we can go ho-" she started to say but was suddenly cut off by a thud. She turned her head to see Riku face down in the snow, a couple of kunai in his back and he was very clearly dead. Well, great... She quickly pulled out her whips and turned around quickly just in time to see their attacker jump out of a bank of snow. With expert skill she tossed up her left whip and flicked her right wrist so her whip wrapped securely around the handle of the other, doubling her attack range. Then she swung the extra long whip around her head and whipped it down at the attacker. The attacker had jumped out of the way, but Tetsu had already had a follow up attack and the ninja was hit with some kunai that she had thrown, both hitting their mark easily, right in their chest. She then flicked her whip up so that it released the other one and she caught it then turned to Shiro as she held onto both her whips, one in each hand. "Come on, before someone else shows up. We need to go. NOW." she said and pused him lightly so he would get moveing, she then made a hand sign and made a clone to watch Riku's body. Right now her main focus was getting to the village with the messages without looseing her remaining gennin.

Tetsu kept running with her remaining gennin and glanced at him as he said something about the rank of the mission going up. "Hey, I told you some of you might die, but you didn't listen to me. Now you know to always beleive everything your sensei says, because I'm always right!" she said with a laugh. It was amazing how she could laugh in a situation like this... that just prooves how crazy she really was...

Tetsu glanced back at Shiro as she kept running and he spoke. "Oh, I didn't....? Oh well! Let's just get going, stop playing around!" she said, refering to him attacking the attacker as "playing around", almost like she wasn't afraid at all ands he didn't care about the fact that they were attacked. She was just as carefree as always. "Now come on the village is right over there!" she said as she picked up the pace some more, running faster and kicking up a cloud of powder snow behind her in the process. It could give them enough cover until they reach the village which was in her sight. It didn't take long until they got there and she skidded to an emediet stop once she reached inside the village gates. "Okay! Now where's the kage's building...?" she said as she put her hand on her forehead like she was sheilding her eyes from the sun as she looked around. It has to be somewhere...
