This here is a listing of powerful blades constructed throughout time...
Not only have they shown to be of the highest quality, but they also have proven themselves in the trusted hands of their wielders... The first page will contain the blades themselves, while the second holds the information of their current wielders... This will let you know if you are capable of attaining these swords... And dont forget, just because you've read it here, doesn't mean your rpc knows who the sword owner is....

Weapon Type: Head Cleaver - Guillotine Blade
Weapon Range: Long
Weapon Weight: Heavy

Description: A giant blade that has a hole near its top, and an indent near its hilt. Thanks to its design, the blade is able to weave through the air and de-limb in swift heavy motions, making it appear to be much more deadly than it already seems....It has also been said that the wielder becomes more adept with water ninjutsu...

Special Abilities:
• Reduces posts needed to learn Water Ninjutsu by 2 posts
• Limbs removed by Kubikiribōchō cannot be reattached
• Elemental chakra can be channeled through with ease

Techniques:

• Reforging
Passive
This is Kubikiribōchō's one and only ability. The sword must collect blood by slicing through the enemy, but by using in the blood, it can repair itself. Any crack, or even if broken. It can also use the blood to sharpen its own self.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• Cannot be used by light body framed characters

Samehada
Weapon Type: Head Cleaver

Description: Quite possibly the most terrible of all the Seven Mist Swords- Samehada is a living blade that draws power from the chakra around it. The outer surface of blade is composed entirely of hard scales, causing it to shred and shave rather than cut and slice. It has also been stated and shown on various occasions, that Samehada is capable of absorbing chakra from those near it, and directly from Ninjutsu attacks.
Additionally, Samehada is often kept in a massive number of binding-wraps, which seem to restrict its abilities as unbound the blade is a heavy burden...

• Nankotsu Sakkyoku (Cartilage Composition)
Passive
Samehada may be a living sword, but it has no bones, rather, it is built of cartilage...As thus, when swung the blade bends slightly- preventing hard knockback and stuttering due to underestimation

• Chakra no Souhi (Chakra Consumption)
Passive
Samehada is able to absorb six surges of B ranked chakra when hoisted and held firmly, allowing the wielder to nullify a rather wide variety of techniques cast by an enemy, and use that chakra for his own

• Chakra no Kajiru (Chakra Nibble)
Passive
Whenever an opponent comes within striking range of Samehada or its wielder, it is able to consume roughly a D ranked amount of chakra and return it to the user. This effect, however, cannot occur more than 10 times per battle

• Eiiya Rappu (Unwrap)
Simple
While the wielder has the opportune, they will cast off Samehada's wraps, causing its effects to regenerate and increase. As long as it is fully revealed, Samehada deals an additional C ranked amount of raking damage, and is capable of consuming a single tail from a tailed demon per successful attack

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• Cannot be used by light body framed characters
• Chakra Consumption and Nibble are relative per battle
• After being unwrapped, Chakra Consumption and Nibble are set back to their bases (6 and 10)
• After being unwrapped, the wielder has 6 posts to fight before blacking out

Kiba
Weapon Type: Twin Short Swords
Weapon Range: Short
Weapon Weight: Light

Description: The Kiba, or Fang, are a pair of pike-like swords capable of channeling and producing lightning techniques. It has also been proven that they are capable of conducting and redirecting natural lightning without causing harm to the wielder. In addition, the blades can be connected at the hilt to form a long range, medium weight, double-edged sword.

Special Abilities:
• Able to generate lightning when both tips are near one another
• Able to conduct and redirect lightning techniques to a point
• Able to conduct natural lightning and use for power increase (Next lightning attack +1 Rank)

Techniques:
• Shikon Bo-ru (Lightning Ball)

By aiming both tips near one another, the user is able to generate and launch a fist sized sphere of lightning

• Rai no Shikon (Fangs of Lightning)
Rank A
By holding both blades skyward, the user ejects a current into the clouds. After comfortably forming into the clouds, the user can then call down bolts of lightning upon anything within the cloud's reach

• Shikon Toburai: Shuen no Shikon (Lightning Burial: Banquet of Lightning)

The user will shove both swords into the ground, generating an electrical current that targets a foe and chases for a good distance. It should be noted this lightning is easily conducted

• Shikon Dageki Yoroi (Lightning Strike Armor)
Rank A
The user will spin both swords multiple times, forming a few circles of electricity, and then generate a full body coating of lightning. The armor is capable of withstanding a single A ranked Ninjutsu, and electrocutes those who make contact. It should be noted that the technique can also be broken by a powerful Taijutsu, at a cost to the user, of course

• Shikon Doragon Tatsumaki (Lightning Dragon Tornado)
Rank S
The user will rise both swords skyward aimed toward one another, generating a massive field of lightning that surrounds them. They will proceed by spinning in place, causing the lightning to take on the form of a dragon. Upon the user's whim, the dragon will launch out and attempt to ensnare a target in a whirlwind like lightning storm


Weaknesses and Limitations:
• All techniques performed require the user's chakra
• Cannot conduct multiple bursts of strong lightning
• Swords are virtually useless when separated

Hiramekarei
Weapon Type: Twinswords
Weapon Range: Long
Weapon Weight: Light

Description: This blade is by far the most unique out of all sthe swords created. Hiramekarei isn't sharp, it is rather.. blunt, so to speak. It has two holes on the upper bottom of it, which allows it to produce chakra and coat itself, which doing so could form weapons. Making this sword, one of the most formidable ones.

Special Abilities:
• This sword is completely, and utterly unbreakable.
• Reduces posts needed to learn Water Ninjutsu by 1 post
• Even without chakra, this sword makes a rather decent blunt instrument of raw force.

By sending their chakra into the sword, Hiramakerai takes it and coats itself in it via the two holes on the bottom. The chakra then begins to take shape of a hammer, giving this sword incredible offensive capabilities.

• Shell Split
Passive
This could be done one of two different ways. The user can pull the two shells apart down the sides, which allows him to have two equally proportionate blades for an offensive bashing weapon. But, the easier way is to coat then with chakra, and then separate them. The chakra will then form and give them hammer-like shapes. Though, my crossing the separate pieces together and allowing the chakra through, it can form a a massive shield that can stand up to most A-Ranked jutsus.

• Unleashing: MAX

Rank: A
This move is fairly simple, but requires chakra to use. The user will send out chakra form his own reserves, a B-Ranked amount and cover Hiramekai, the chakra will form around it, creating a massive buzzsaw that can cut through anything but other Swords of Origin. The drawback is, that it takes a D-Ranked amount of chakra per usage.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• This swords requires the wielder's chakra to use its abilities.
• This sword is extremely blunt, meaning that without chakra it's pretty useless but as a shield, and as stated above, a beater.

Kabutowari
Weapon Type: Bluntswords
Weapon Range: Short
Weapon Weight: Heavy

Description: Kabutowari, or "Helm Splitter" is one of the swords of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. The sword itself consists of a giant axe and hammer, linked end-to-end by a flat thin leather-like rope, which together are referred to as a "bluntsword" (鈍刀, dontō) that is said to be able to break through any(solid) defense.

Special Abilities:User Image
• A solid defense is useless for the opponent.
• The chain allows for a nice flail effect with the axe.
• Allows the user to smash and slash, respectively.

Techniques:
• Breaker of Gates
Simple
When facing a particularly difficult or seemingly impenetrable defence; the wielder can first attack by striking with the axe, before slamming the hammer downwards onto its blunt backside, thus using the blade like a wedge to drive straight through the offending obstacle and into the desired target located behind.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• These "swords" are extremely heavy, making those of small fraim useless to it
• The axe and hammer are connected, Making your reaction timing slower, unless one has dealt with nunchuku and the alike.

Nuibari
Weapon Type: Longsword
Weapon Range: Long
Weapon Weight: Light

Description: A long, thin blade capable of the most perfect form of silent killing possible. It is known that this sword has taken more lives then any other of the Seven Blades of the Mist. This sword's main standout is the thread hidden at the end, which only a master of this blade could possibly use it. Demonstrated through its ability to effortlessly penetrate multiple targets in a single thrust and then quite literally stitches them together in substantial bundles, by simply pulling the attached wire taught.

Special Abilities:User Image
• Reduces posts needed to learn Water Ninjutsu by 2 posts
• Increases duration and power of Kirigakure no Jutsu
• The thread is also rather sticky, making so that in combat, this almost invisible thread could be stuck to the enemy, and eventually capture them.
• Aero-dynamic, making it very quick and agile. So, making it one of the few fencing-type blades.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• The thread is easily detectable by Genjutsu users and those with Dojutsu.
• One of the few blades without its own 'Special Techniques'

Shibuki
Weapon Type: Blastsword
Weapon Range: Long
Weapon Weight: Heavy

Description: The most destructive sword ever created. And in the wrong hands, could be horrible. From the beginning to the end of the hilt is wrapped in a cloth, making this heavyweight bad boy a little easier to wield. The top is hallowed out, with a blade on one side. and the scroll on the other, a massive one, with the middle being halloed as to allow the scroll to unroll and place tags onto the blade, allowing for an explosive style.

Special Abilities:User Image
• The impact of this blade, on anything, will cause an explosion to occur. A BIG explosion.
• There is a basically limitless number of scrolls to be used, once one runs out.
• This blade not only makes explosions, but it can cut at the same time, making escaping hard.

Techniques:
• Reload
Passive
After every hit, the blade automatically unwinds the scroll and unrolls to place a new explosive tag sheet on top of the blade.

• Mad Dance
Simple
Rank: A
The user will grip the blade with both hands and spin, attempting to slash and blow aways all their enemies. This could be used to wipe out large numbers of enemies in a circle, or to pass by them.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• Not for those of small body frames
• If the sword is hit by a Katon jutsu, or ignited, it will explode and maybe damage the sword itself. Definitely killing its user.

Weapon Type: Katana
Weapon Range: Medium
Weapon Weight: Medium

Description: The Danshaku is capable of absorbing loose blood on the battle field, and increasing its overall performance...Normally, when a blade becomes spattered with blood, it becomes heavy and cutting is more difficult, but as the Danshaku draws blood, it seems to become lighter and sharper...It has also been stated that Danshaku can be used for a vast array of surgical procedures because of its unique abilities...
It has been stated that the steel Danshaku is forged from was once used to seal a man in an iron grave...And because of the steel's being used to forge a weapon, the man's spirit was never able to fully rest...The spirit of this man now possesses and watches grimly over the wielder of the sword...


Special Abilities:
• Able to absorb blood within a 5 yard radius
• For every layer of blood on Danshaku, damage and swiftness increase 1 level (Gen ► Chu, Chu ► Jou)
• The blood drawn by Danshaku can be used for multiple purposes

Techniques:
• Sagemaku [Drop Curtain]
Rank B
The user will slash Danshaku horizontally or vertically, causing it to cast off a layer of blood. If the user wishes, they are capable of injecting the blood with their chakra, forcing it to project forward.

• Ka-tenko-ru [Curtain Call]
Rank B-A
The user will slash Danshaku however which way they wish, causing it to cast off a layer of blood. If the user wishes, they are capable of injecting the blood with their chakra, forcing it to rise up and engulf an incoming attack correspondent to the amount of chakra used


• Chi Kousaku [Blood Blend]
Passive
The layers of blood upon Danshaku are ever twisting, causing them to become a single type. Oddly enough, the blood that is formed is always a replica of the wielder's...allowing the blood to be used for surgery and other similar purposes

• Henkan [Return]
Passive
If there is at least a single layer of blood on Danshaku, the spirit it possess is capable of forcing the blade to be called back to the one who's blood it mimics

• Reikoku Iki [Relentless Spirit]
Passive
If a physical or mental stimuless (being crippled by muscle disturbance or genjutsu) prevents the wielder from performing a normal swinging action with Danshaku, the spirit that resides within the blade will awaken, fulfilling the action. It should be noted that being held back by physical force will result in the spirit's failed attempt to continue an attack

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• Blood must be gathered in order to be any stronger than a normal katana
• 1 Cup of blood equals 1 layer
• Layer limit of 4
• Once it reaches a certain amount, the blade must release blood before becoming heavy and dull
• Reikoku Iki can only occur three times per battle
• Bonus maxes out at Sannin+
• Blood meshed can only result in wielder's blood
• Blood absorbed by Danshaku does not have to be fresh-fresh
• Blood absorbed by Danshaku cannot be aged over one month

• Whenever a layer of blood is placed on Danshaku, grim and terrifying whispers leak into the wielder's mind. The howling of the blade's spirit will slowly rot away at its owner's sanity, until they at one point, snap.

Zantetsuken
Weapon Type: Ninjato
Weapon Range: Medium
Weapon Weight: Medium

Description: Literally meaning 'Beheading Iron Sword', this legendary blade has been passed down in the Ishikawa Household for generations..
Only the strongest member, or those who were to be crowned family head, were permitted to use this weapon. As the blade of the legendary thief clan, it has been noted to be swift, deadly, and most importantly- light. Additionally, over the decades, it has become adorned by a decent sized tie, which wraps around the sheath with a good amount of slack and allows for multiple unorthodox purposes.


Special Abilities:
• Although it has a described weight, while sheathed Zantetsuken feels as though a feather
• Zantetsuken bears a medium length string tie, which can be used freely
• The blade of Zantetsuken is thick enough to defend against most larger weapons

Techniques:
• Dashing Silence
Simple
The wielder will draw Zantetsuken from its sheath for a brief moment, casting a shine of reflected light. In the brief time this flash occurs, the wielder will seemingly escape from sight- but in reality, they are merely using all of their strength to quickly circle their target and appear a set distance behind them. It should be noted that no noise is made by this technique.
- Can only be used twice per battle

• Thief's Assault
Rank B
The wielder will cast out Zantetsuken, still sheathed, as if a projectile- his fingers twisted around the connecting cord. They will then course a jolt of chakra through the line to the sheath, causing the blade to jump from its sheath to about half point. After a quick revealing of its blade, Zantetsuken will then, using the remaining chakra, return to its sheath, locking, and allowing for easy retraction

• Thief's Last Resort
Simple
The wielder will draw Zantetsuken before him, pull it half way from its sheath, producing a flash of light, and recast it into its holster. In this flash of light, the user expels all chakra from his body but still maintains muscle functions, additionally, the wielder's body seems to fade from reality leaving only the senses of scent and hearing to be able to track him. In other words, the user abandons his chakra but maintains muscle strength in order to become invisible
-Invisibility lasts 3 posts

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• Attached string is easily grabbed if wielder is not experienced
• Attached string is tied to the sheath, not the blade

Kagami Yaiba (Mirror Blade)
Weapon Type: Sakabato (Reverse Edged Sword)
Weapon Range: Long
Weapon Weight: Light

Description: A powerful sword of pure origin. Kagami Yaiba was forged to protect the blood of the innocent, a pure weapon built never to taste the evils of blade. It has the power to inflict blunt damage without killing the enemy, it was created at the request of the previous head of the Okazi Clan in hopes for using its abilities to create a stable peace in the Shinobi World. Sadly his ideals were never brought to fruition during his life time, and so his wills are passed on to each wielder of the Kagami Yaiba in hopes that the users actions can one day bring a true peace among the living.

Special Abilities:
• The sword does not have any special attributes or elemental affinities, all of its techniques are bukijutsu.
• The user can fight unrestrained against anybody at all times, Kagami Yaiba cannot kill an opponent.

Techniques and Bukijutsu:
Hiten-Mitsurugi-Ryu techniques (Flying Heaven Honorable Sword Style)
A fictional ancient sword art whos mastery enables the user to exercise superhuman speed and reflexes, study and predict his opponent's movements in battle, as well as perform many powerful sword techniques. Users of this style are built mainly around defense and counter, protection of others and boast many skills among both Battojutsu and the use of Shinsoku (God Speed) which allows the user to quickly over take the opponent and attack before they can react.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Doryusen (Ground Dragon Slash)
Simple
Giant blow against the ground, causing massive airwaves/rocks to strike enemies.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryutsuisen (Dragon Hammer Slash)
Simple
Jumps up in the air really high and then strikes down hard from above.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryu Kan Sen (Rising Wind Dragon Slash)
D Rank
Lunges toward enemy using a very powerful twist of the body doing a sideways slash.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryusosen (Double Dragon Slash)

Multiple Slashes against enemy.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryukansen Tsumuji (Rising Wind Dragon Slash Hair Spin)

Involves higher speed than Ryukansen. Basically same attack but more powerful.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryushosen (Dragon Rising Flash)

Rises up from ground, using all force in an uppercut, hitting vital points.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryutsuisen Zan
D Rank
Same as Ryutsuisen except sword is pointed down to pierce.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Hiryusen (Flying Dragon Slash)
C rank
Performed by left hand only, attack uses centrifugal force to create a powerful blow with the hilt in a persons weakness, like in between the eyes.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryukansen Arashi (Wind Dragon Rising Slash Storm)
B Rank
More powerful version of Tsumuji + more damaging.

Batto-jutsu Techniques (Art of Drawing the Blade)
Stance with right foot placed in front of left, pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath, which increases draw speed threefold. The blade is then drawn by the entire body's motion, slashing with the "God-speed of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu ". It is an all-or-nothing attack where missing the target will result in the user being completely unguarded. Kenshin's hitokiri name, "Battousai", means "One who has mastered everything of battoujutsu"

Paired attack with sword and sheath. If sword is blocked, sheath comes in and hits enemy.

Iron cutting technique. Can use it anywhere except underwater.

• Shihara Dori

Defensive technique in which user grabs enemies sword.

• Ryumeisan

User quickly sheathes sword, causing a sound that distorts the hearing of those with enhanced senses.

• Modoshi Giri
C Rank
User can cut something in half and then rejoin it together and make it seem as if there was no cut whatsoever.

Special Techniques

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryutsuishosen (Dragon Hammer Rising Slash)
B Rank
Combo of Ryutsuisen and Ryushosen. Perfromed when opponent is coming down from above, Ryutsuisen first, then Ryushosen, causing double damage.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Kogarashi Tsumuji Arashi
A Rank
First he starts off turning around and doing one hit, then jumps and hits again, then uses the turning momentum to go into a spin and slicing again. Spin goes vertically, not horizontally.

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Kuzuryusen (Nine Headed Dragon Flash)

Attack learned before the most powerful succession technique. Strikes with the sword nine times on the 9 vital points, head, right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm, between the legs, the chest, right shoulder, and left shoulder, making this move virtually impossible to block.

Succession Techniques

• Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ouki Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki (Heaven's Soaring Dragon Slash)

Normally when using the Battojutsu, the right leg is placed in front of the left leg so as not to cut one's leg off when drawing your sword from the left, but with this one put his or her left leg in front giving your attack the most power it can get, and he or she must twist his or her body at the right time so as not to cut his or her leg off. In order to do this he must have a strong will to live. This move is actually a combination of two, because if this move is executed properly, if the first hit is blocked, then the person spins around, and slices again. This Legendary technique is what the Kagami Yaiba was named after and has never been seen or heard of in actual reality before. The attack is extremely stressful on the users body and requires a cool down in between uses in order for the users muscles to adjust from the attacks recoil.
(5 post cool down, the user must know or have seen the attack once before; unless, they posses a Sharingan or Byakugan of at least Stage 1 mastery, this includes implants.)


Weaknesses and Limitations:
• User cannot be of evil intentions, the blade will reject them.
• Built to favor defense and countering, not straight offense.
• Sharp edge is reversed making it harder to cut the opponent, damage is done by the strength of the Bukijutsu used with it.
• Cannot kill an opponent with Kagami Yaiba, no exceptions.
• Only compatible with Hiten-Mitsurugi-Ryu Bukijutsu.

Description:
In the shape of a 9 Rings Broadsword, Nami Tan is named for the element which it commands: water. It's somewhat hefty weight allows for strong slashes and heavy blows to be dealt.

However, the blade doesn't always have 9 Rings. When wrapped, the rings disappear. When gripped by a hand that can exert Chakra (Basically Anybody), the blade's rings form out of water.

When in the hands of a ninja who doesn't use Water Jutsu, this blade can simply unleash waves of water which can cut through most materials almost as well as Wind Jutsu. The length of the wave is the length of the slash that the user swings.

When in the hands of a Water-Jutsu user, this blades true abilities are unleashed. The user can channel any Water Jutsu they know through the blade. It also causes Earth Jutsu to no longer have the upper hand against Water Jutsu, removing the weakening effect. However, its effectiveness against Fire Jutsu remains the same.

With every use of a water jutsu or a water slash, one ring disappears from the blade. Once all 9 Rings disappear, the blade must recharge.

As far as appearances go, Nami Tan is wrapped in a white cloth, which also doubles as the cloth that its handle is wrapped in.


Special Abilities:
• Coated in Water - Activated by will (Does Not effect sharpness)
• Not effected by its weakening element (Earth)
• Slashes of Water - Range: 200 Yards
• Water Jutsu Channeling - Range: Jutsu Range (Water Users Only)
• Can block most Non-S Ranked Fire Jutsu on its own.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
• After using NINE (9) Water slashes or channeling NINE (9) Water Jutsu through it, the sword must Recharge for 2 Posts.

• Suiton - Kire Mizu Nami (Water Release - Slicing Water Wave)
