Penthesilea woke early to the feel of something up against her. Before she reacted in a negative way she reminded herself about the pup she had taken in the day previous. Glancing down at Glacier's sleeping form for a moment her head tipped to the side. Funny, he was on the other side of the den when she had finally submitted to sleep. A part of her wanted to give him a swift kick to wake him up, but her softer side prevailed and she slowly raised herself to her paws careful not to disturb him. Moving out of the den Penthesilea glanced back once just to make sure Glacier was still asleep before slipping off into the forest.
The plan was to find them both something to eat and return to the den before he awoke. Chances are if she wasn't there when he did wake up the pup would think she abandoned him just like his mother had. As much as Penthesilea hated males she would not do such a thing to a pup. Once he was older, well that was another story. Padding through the trees, head down in a tracking position Penthesilea set about searching for a morning meal, though in the back of her mind she couldn't help but think of her pack and the strong desire she had to bring it back together.

Life had never been better to the female. She was strong, and healthy, and her meal of the rabbit this morning had made her feel satiated. She wasnt a wolf to catch when she was hungry, she could be quite the helldog when she wanted to be. Though as of today, she was feeling rather generous. She could be civil today.. It was alright to do so when one was as happy as she was.
A life of killing and maiming males had done nothing to her but make her feel stronger, and her passion for females was obvious to all those she ran into. She hated males, hated them for killing her family. Her heart turned a bit cold at the thought of the testosterone that could be found around Telk. So many men, and she wasnt happy with it. Where were the strong females? Where were the others like her?
She yawned, and padded out into the forest, ready to start her day.

It would seem that prey was limited in this area at the moment. Any scent that Penthesilea picked up was quite old and it would take much longer to track the animal down than she had. Well they wouldn’t starve if they missed one small meal and who knows they may come across something in their travels. It was still early enough that she did not need to return to the den and Glacier just yet. Besides Penthesilea hated sitting around idle when she could be out there looking for her lost sisters, or perhaps even finding new blood.
Head snapped up as the faintest of sounds reached her ears. Scenting the air she caught wind of another wolf, this one wasn’t far from where she currently stood. Padding forward she set out to find this other wolf. When Penthesilea finally caught sight of he a few moments later she watched the female with a critical but also curious eye.
