So how many times do you change your avatar?
I've made it different a few times recently.
But I'm sticking with this for the momentary time.
Anyone did anything special with theirs?

Almost never.
I do a few small changes every now and then, but overall, it's the same avatar I've been using for years.

I've been wearing the cape since I got it. Except for when I change my avatar for holidays.
I forgot to dress myself up for St. Patrick's Day yesterday.
Ah well.

I change on random occasions, but normally it doesn't last. I guess I just like my avatar.

Anywayz:
After reading this thread, I remember I needed to change my avi's eye colour... And I kinda went on a buying spree and decided to change it up a little. xp Though now my hair looks kinda greenish...
Out of curiousity, have you ever seen a person's eye color change?
Mine have a tendency to change from green to brown, and in most cases they are mix of the two. Sometimes my pupils are surrounded by green and the rest brown, and then vice versa. It's really weird and interesting.

I just change my avatar when I feel like it.
I feel like I've been changing it a lot lately though.
I think it's because I can't find an avatar to really "settle" on at the moment.
I like the ones I'm making but I don't like it enough to leave it for more than a couple weeks.
Because before the past couple months, I was changing it maybe once a month.
Black:
I've been told my eyes look lighter/darker/slightly green some days.
One of my friends, whom I've known for years, asked me if I was wearing colored contacts the other day so I guess my eyes looked really different.
(I have been known to wear colored contacts but I haven't worn them for a while because I feel like I'm lying to people, haha.)
But my ex's eyes used to go through different shades of blue and sometimes green/hazel all the time.
It was fun to see what color his eyes were that day.

It was actually a genetic thing that several other family members have, too, in my case. I've went through several eye color changes through the years:
birth: dark blue
toddler: grey
8 yrs old: kinda hazellish/green mix
today: those two colours.
I've heard it also deals with what colors you were, too, but I've never been able to notice it...
For some reason, I keep switching the way I write colors. color. colour. color. colour. Kinda annoying myself. xp
Meh, I try to make my avi more like myself. *though, granted, my avi is a lot better looking and thinner. xp *
I tried cutting my hair real short a few months ago, and it looked terrible on me, so now I'm trying to let it grow out. So, avi got herself a change.

Black_Angel_Flowne Out of curiousity, have you ever seen a person's eye color change? I wouldn't call it a "change," but my eyes are normally a kind of greyish, greenish blue, but when I wear something green, it brings out that color. I think it may be the same when I wear blue.
