As a guy I know some characters are really great because I feel like I am him when in a game, for example, Gordon Freeman of Half-Life 2. Have any girls here played Metal Gear: Sold (or even better the remake for the GC)? And do you sort of look up to Sniper Wolf? Or what about Meryl?? Or even Mei Ling. They're all such great woman role-models -- intelligent and educated, well-spoken and maybe even a little bit sexy. Do you like these women and find you can relate to either of them? I know it's a game and the characters are fictional, and they are in a scenario none of us will ever be in ourselves, but they still have a prominent personality and that's what makes them so lovely.
Do any girls here like how the women of Metal Gear: Solid represent you as a gender?
I do 3nodding

Eh I kinda looked up to em when I was younger. Since I've gotten older, idolizing the girls of MGS has kinda lost its flare.
Though I would admit to be that cool and that hot....yeah that be cool. xp heart
As far as how they represent the female gender...eh...its so so.

Heck, I looked up to Sniper Wolf. She was awesome. I've taken up being a sniper in so many games just becasue how cool she made the role. Not only did she have skills, but she had style too. What more could you ask for?

I looked up to Lara Croft when I was little. I just thought she owned face. I pretended to be her when I was about 10 and my cousin and I were playing in the back garden.

Well I liked link when I was really young since I looked almost like him...with the exception of clothes and other things, left handed, blue eyes blonde hair I liked it. The girl roles were pretty fair...except trangile noses eek Currently link still is my fav, even after seeing all the other women and men out there.

It's sad but most of my favorite video game characters are guys. <3 I have nothing against girls, for I am one myself, but personally, I just like guy characters.

While I was playing FFX, I always thought that out of all the female characters in that game, Lulu was awesome! She was the best! She wasn't overly annoying or spineless. She said what she thought and was cynical and humorous at times. She's great 3nodding
