The system has been revised a bit to make it less 'Marvel superhero' so that the tiers aren't jumping by ridiculous values.

Note: Rank 7 is basically the 'overpowered and above' category.

This is just a little something I was always curious about, and decided to go ahead and do in order to see what would happen.

Basically, you take your character(s) and chart them on a 'power grid' of sorts, according to the ratings as defined below- and we can compare and see where someones stands "theoretically".


Power Ratings


Intelligence: The ability to think and process information. May pertain to IQ, cunning, or accumulated knowledge.

0. Non-intelligent / Automaton
1. Animal Intelligence
2. Slow / Impaired
3. Normal

Strength: The Ability to lift weight under normal circumstances.

Deitric Jocasta
Intelligence: 3.5 - Deitric is naturally clever, but lacks a "higher education."

Strength: 5 - Deitric can lift 2.5-3x+ his bodyweight on all primary lifts, and with proper power manipulation can push himself to past Level 6 strength (lifting 3000 lb off the ground) for very short periods of time. He's only level five because he can lift EXACTLY 1000lb through deadlift, and that's a world record in and of itself.

Speed: 3 - As an athlete, Deitric is fairly fast, but lacks the high agility to properly be above level three.

Durability: 3 - Deitric has no regeneration, but is mentally toughened and conditioned to pain, and heals preternaturally fast outside of combat like most Gaians do.

Energy Projection: 3 - Deitric can only strike at roughly "medium range" with his ranged attack, but his powerset has expanded in other ways, such as manipulating polarity and magnetism.

Fighting Ability: 4 - Deitric is an experienced fighter who primarily relies on one, catch-all style with some amount of personal changes and preferences.

Though he oftentimes acts like nothing more than a brute, Murdoc possesses a super-human intellect that is modeled after the greatest minds humanity has to offer and a near-encyclopedic knowledge of countless subjects from biology to physics.

Weighing in at somewhere between 400 and 500 lbs and possessing the ability to lift over 10x his weight, Murdoc is capable of feats such as lifting approximately 5000 lbs, bending and punching through steel plates, digging his fingers into concrete, and jumping 30 feet vertically. In summary: this.

Strength and speed are, in a way, the same thing. His forward dashing speed is somewhere around 40 miles per hour and though he cannot fly his wings give him a gliding speed of roughly the same. His agility is limited by his massive weight, however, and because of this he often uses bursts from his wings or grabbing an anchor point to turn at high speeds.

Murdoc is a tank. His incredible body density provides him what an almost complete immunity to blunt force and his bones are solid enough to block most types of sharp weapons. His increased healing rate stops bleeding quickly but will take a few hours to close a wound.

Murdoc possesses no ability to control energy of any type, except lasers. In gun form.

Ryugi's durability does not increase, but Ragnarok's powers serve to allow him to fight even with terrible wounds. He still takes damage as normal.

Ryugi's energy manipulation jumps by a massive factor as Ragnarok's powers allow far more energy use than normal at far less cost than normal as well.

Rage

Intelligence: 3
Impulsive, particularly in a fight, but not handicapped. Not a strategist either, so I think he'd be right in the center.

Strength: 4
Normally I'd put him at a 3 or 2, but his abilities have fluctuated over the years, and I think this is about the maximum weight that he's lifted or dealt with, as he's generally augmented by pure adrenaline.

Speed: 5
Rage's original method of travel was running everywhere, to the point where I remember adding his shoes to the profile to explain how they wouldn't wear down when he came sliding to a stop. His top speed would be world-class level.

Durability: 4
Resists fire. Naturally tougher than an average human, as well.

Energy Projection: 3
In most cases a 2, but Rage has used medium-range fire attacks (sometimes by pulling it from around him) more than once. Hence, one rank higher.

Fighting Ability: 4
He makes it up as he goes. That said, he's probably at the experienced level, but I wouldn't say he's a master of any particular mode of combat.

Gamma received an extensive education when he was younger, but he's since forgotten it or disregarded much of what he's learned.

Strength: 5
Gamma is extremely physically capable and is further able to press his body to the absolute limit, either to or beyond its breaking point.

Speed: 4
This aspect is shared by Gamma's physical prowess.

Durability: 5
A lack of explicit 'weaknesses' with an immunity to most physical aspects of injury. While he resists damage well, he's still suffers from its effects, to an extent.

Woo-woo: 0
Nope.

Fighting ability: 4
Not a master of anything, but uses his cumulative ability to hurt people in ways they typically don't think to defend against.


Armor Gamma

Intelligence: 3.
The powered armor cannot offer any kind of mental increase. It does offer a greater awareness through its instruments.

Strength: 6.
The armor is capable of lifting and manipulating many times its pilot's weight with little strain.

Speed: 3-4
While still mimicking its pilots movements and speed for the most part, the physical properties of the armor and its weight can hamper movement in extreme cases.

Durability: 7.
Virtually indestructible.

Energy manipulation: 6.
Lead is an energy type.

Fighting ability: 5
Powered armor compliments any fighting style while also offering its own unique ability for combat.


Tombs

Intelligence: 6.5
Preternaturally intelligent and educated. But being omniscient is more of a sensory attribute than one of intelligence.

Strength: 1
Physically frail and weak with few exceptions. Get minions to do heavy lifting.

Speed: 1
Tombs is generally in a physical state that keeps him from even jogging.

Durability: 0
Undead have no CON scores. The physical body is irrelevant.

Energy projection: 6
Tombs is a long list of magical woo-woo. There's a lot of things his abilities don't allow him to do, but he is still exceptionally powerful in his own right.

Fighting ability: 1
He'll hit you in the head with a shovel when you're not looking.

Zandra Ryke

[Human]

Intelligence: 3

She's no genius but she has a high school education at least.

Strength: 3

No super-strength here, just a normal human but with a good amount of training to build up her overall physical strength.

Speed: 3

Ryke can move fast enough, and she has to when she's gunning down a mark but it's nothing above average.

Durability: 3

She's tough, and can take a decent amount of damage before going down but still not superhuman.

Energy Projection: 0

No eye beams and s**t here lol

Fighting Ability: 4

Competed in HoH twice and her occupation makes for a significant amount of a** beating. She's certainly no master though.




Raien DeCuir

[Planetouched]

Intelligence: 4

She's intelligent, and has a natural sharpness (quick to learn) and has a college education at had a good several years to just learn. Hardly a genius, she can be kind of ditzy sometimes but in an endearing way.

Strength: 2 / 4

On the low end, with no self enhancing she's average for someone of her size and physical capabilities. On the high, she can at least reach peak human if not just a bit above by way of manipulating aethyric energies to enhance her own physical capability.

Speed: 3

Rai is decently quick because of her smaller build and frame but it's nothing worth noting.

Durability: 2 / 4

Naturally with no enhancement, she is like a normal human but can affect her own durability the same way she can affect her strength.

Energy Projection: 3 / 4

She is able to tap into the arcane arts but has been out of practice for some time. Limited manipulation of aethyric energy and spelled charms. Fluctuates based on outside factors (top physical condition vs. degrading condition i.e. exhaustion, concentration, etc. ) but it sits around medium for the most part.

Fighting Ability: 3

A flat, low end three. She's not a melee fighter by any means and prefers to stay more on the ranged end, not entirely long range though. She has enough ability to defend herself in a pinch and often makes use of her staff to keep a close fighting enemy at bay.



Rasilyn Lockwood

[Warp Seer]

Intelligence: 2 / 3

She's a smart girl and is educated but plenty of trauma and illness at a young age have only negatively affected an already troubled mind. At worst, she is like a very sheltered child (pretty much withdrawn from everything) but at her best she is sophisticated, bright and somewhat insightful.

Strength: 1

Rasilyn is frail and tiny, with virtually no strength training at all. Considering how she had always been pretty much doted on, she never really needed to do any 'heavy lifting'.

Speed: 3

She's small and light so she can move fairly quick but still within human limits. However she is awfully clumsy and rarely moves with urgency unless, well, there is a dire need to.

Durability: 1

Again, she's a frail, very small girl who's easily overtaken by exhaustion or illness. She looks enough like a little doll that she might just break like one if thrown into combat.

Energy Projection: 1

She's learning - slowly albeit and really isn't capable of much at the present.

Fighting Ability: 1

She usually runs and hides or is told to stay far away from combative situations, but if ever caught up in one, well, suffice to say she wouldn't fair well.



A'hrymiaka

(Mia)
[Lich - Necromancer]


Intelligence: 4 / 5

Mia has had plenty of time to study, to read and to learn so it's no surprise that she would know quite a bit about many things. However, it is Occult knowledge where she excels and shines her brightest.

Strength: 5

She pretty much is superhuman. That's really all there is to say.

Speed: 3 / 4

Mia is decently agile and quick when she needs to be, but you know, she practically has people to move for her.

Durability: 5

Squishy she may be but regenerative so long as her phylactery remains intact.

Energy Projection: 6

With centuries to practice and equal amount of knowledge on the occult and traditional magic, Mia is certainly more than capable in this particular area.

Fighting Ability: 3

Melee combat however, is certainly not her expertise, in fact she isn't really suited for it but she could at least make decent efforts to fend of a physical attacker if need be.
