Happy Air Kraken Day, everyone!

And a pleasant St. Patrick's Day, as well. So tell me, what will you all be doing to celebrate this fine day? And, in lieu of that, how are you? I feel like it has been so long since we've had much friendly discussion in this guild.
Personally, I'm trying to correct a rampantly unbalanced sleep schedule with an all-nighter and some strong coffee. The big mistake is probably choosing to dress up for the holiday in heels for an eight am class after said all-nighter. xD But on a brighter note, I have decorated my door with the above picture, and written a notice in dry erase marker about the oft overlooked holiday. Here's to surviving the day!
And remember, should a giant sea creature swoop from the sky to disturb your usual goings-on...

Haha been good. It's amazingly quite where I live considering I live right down the road from an irish pub, the footy pub and a couple others. Then again it's the middle of the week and everyone has work tomorrow.

Yes, but it is St. Patty's day, of all days! Are you in a time zone where they would already be celebrating? It's only seven in the morning here.

It is currently 11:31pm as a write this from Australia, just under half an hour until st. paddies is over. I think they also celebrated it last weekend because it is in the middle of the week.

Calcephony I never knew about Air Kraken Day! =O Well, Happy Air Kraken Day and St. Patrick's Day! I will be celebrating the latter with a supper of corned beef and cabbage. <3 Ah, delicious. I shall be having whatever the Dining Hall sees fit to supply. Which may be Irish in nature, who knows. xD

Actually, I had a bit of luck, as the local grocer had a last-chance sale on a slab of corned beef. It only cost me a tad over a dollar! O_O

Corned beef and cabbage, a pint of Guinness, and perhaps even a game of cards when the minions come back to the Lab. whee
I've also taken it upon myself to wear one of my costumes today. Perhaps I'll take a photo and share later.

Gah, I missed it again >_Q!! Oh well. It wasn't a total waste, I did manage to wear pink (the exact opposite of green) on St. Patricks just to screw with people. It's nice to see everyone else's March 17th went well.

One of these years I'll wear a black or white shirt that says: "I'm Irish. Just try and pinch me, I dare you." Or something along those lines.

I wished a happy St Patrick's Day to my Irish friends, and they wished a safe Air Kraken Day to me. They wore green, I dressed Steam, and we all listened to Irish tunes late into the night. My friends and I aren't an active bunch, but we celebrated both.
