A third interview and a second one with a lust spawn. Vampy was starting to get the hang of this interview thing though he was finding that his first one nearly broke his head. He couldn't believe some of the spawn in this facility...but then again no everyone could be intelligent when it came to making life decisions.
Still he looked over the girls file trying to put his past experiences behind him. Lust and Kindness. Ebony had frequented the facility many many times to visit the demons and angels.... he had been mildly surprised with her tolerance but figured it was probably due to her angelic blood.

Ebony was wrapped up in a scarf and a long coat as she came to the facility for her meeting. She was not at all eager to meet Mr. Vampy, but felt it was probably best to meet the guy and try to make whatever else she was required to do here over with. She wasn't fond of being in his company, but it was necessary for many reasons. Maybe she'd stop and say hello to Enki and Charna afterwards.
The spawn knocked lightly at his office door and awaited the demon's answer. Might as well be polite, right?

Vampy gestured and the door creaked upon upon hearing the girl knock. It was an invitation to come inside if nothing else.
"Enter." He stated plainly if firmly, he could of said a bunch of other witty things but he didn't have the energy for it. This was souly a meeting to determine who successful the spawn he helped to create had become.
"Ebony take a seat if you could." He indicated to a chair directly across from him.

"Yes sir." she stated, taking the seat carefully and sitting with her hands in her lap as she waited for him to question her - he'd asked for this meeting after all, so he obviously wanted either to know something or just required something of her. She'd comment on the business she was considering later, once they were over official matters. After all, she still had to research her bargaining chips to begin with before getting herself too far in.

Vampy looked tired, and though for a young face looked older than he had in the last couple of months. If you looked at him directly, truely studied him you would notice the faint circles under his eyes, he leaned against his chair gesturing to the pot of tea.
"Tea?" He asked the most obvious of questions, before he leaned forward again to then pour himself a steaming cup. He put cream and a little honey before he looked to her again, prompting for an answer.
"I am sure you must be curious to why I have summoned you here," He started like most of the conversations before her. Leaning with his elbows on the desk he sipped his tea.

"Yes please, thank you." she stated, taking the teapot gracefully once he was finished to pour herself a cup. While it was against her better judgment and many things her mother had taught her, Ebony felt it very unlikely that he'd spiked the tea with anything so it was probably at least partly safe to drink.
"I am. Though I'm sure it's standard procedure of some sort." the young woman said, filling her own cup with a bit of milk and sugar.

Vampy sipped his tea quietly relishing the taste for a moment before swallowing.
"Standard procedure..." He repeated her words and then gave a small laugh, "I do suppose it seems that way," he continued as he went to lay his cup onthe desk before he cast his golden eyes upon her.
She had grown up well physically anyway. No strange mutations, she looked very much like a even combination of her DNA parents.
"Tell me Ebony, are you happy?"

"Happy?" she inquired, pausing in her drinking and looking at him through those heavily lashed, closed looking eyes. "In what sense?"
There were many ways to be happy. Was she happy with her job? With her life? With her family? With her combination? What did he really want to know about? "For the most part, I am, though you'll have to clarify what you mean."

The silver haired man merely looked her over, his golden eyes not letting any part of her out.
"Happy as in a sense of being, do you have any regrets in your life? Unfinished business? Dreams or hopes that have yet to be achieved?" The words came out slowly as if he was bored,
"Or are you content with where you are, happy with who you are?" He expanded the subject a bit. Leaning back in his chair he looked comfortable his eyes half lidded as he took another sip of his tea.

The girl nodded at that, "Then yes, yes I'm happy. I don't really regret anything, and I'm comfortable with where I am in life - my family is wonderful, I have good friends, a good job, and I'm really just looking forward to the future."
"Is there any reason I shouldn't be?" she inquired, taking another sip of her tea quietly.

The silver haired man only gave a slight wave of his hand as if dismissing her say on her life. At her question he only sighed and sat up sipping his tea again. He was silent as if pondering how to choose his next words.
"There are plenty of reasons why you 'shouldn't be, couldn't be' happy. You are a combination of a sin and a virtue after all. There are many spawn who have fallen prey to their sins, many who aspired to their virtues and then there are the ones who deny who they really are and end up tearing themselves apart," He explained as he took a long look at the dredges in his tea cup and then went to pour himself a fresh cup.
"You are my dear if I was to assume based on what I have seen by your actions would favor your celestial side. Or would I be mistaken?"

"Something like that, yes." Ebony agreed. She didn't particularly like her demonic side, though it was there. It popped up when she looked at a handsome young man or woman, it popped up when others looked at her, it popped up whenever she wanted it or didn't want it, of it's own accord. "I endeavor to...keep control of my other half, so to speak."

There were days that Vampy really enjoyed his job, though today he was midly irrirated and tired so it was harder to really be chipper or encouraging.
"Hmm...keep control?" He inquired as he riased his cup to his lips again letting the steam waft over his face a moment before he sipped it. He paused as if the conversation was coming to its conclusion, or he had nothing else to say.
It wasn't the case as he lowered his cup slowly so his fingers could rup along the edge of the chinaware. He appeared to have a serious expression as he went to speak again,
"Am I to assume you are using sheer willpower to prevent yourself from caving to your darker side?"

"You could say that. Though I'd be lying if I said it was supremely difficult compared to the time some of my kin have with it." Ebby stated softly, setting her empty cup down and putting her hands in her lap.
"I was blessed with a more physically apparent sin, and a more emotionally apparent virtue." the woman explained, "I do have to exercise self control and willpower to keep myself from being excessively physical with strangers - hugging people I just met, wanting to cuddle with friends - something I didn't learn the necessity of controlling till I was older. But I am more inclined to love people easily and want to be affectionate, than I am to truly want anything carnal."

It made sense, after all not all the spawns catered to their darker halves. In fact there wouldn't be much point of having an experiment like this if everyone defaulted to their sins. Since the entire point of the facility was to see if children born with the innate desires of more carnal sins could actually over come them.
Still it was hard to say that he wasn't disappointed, of course being what he was he had grown up in a world of violence and death....he shouldn't expect everyone else to have the same life experiences.
"Hmm..." He stated as his fingers still stroked the edge of the tea cup, "So you don't deny your other half...you just keep it in check. A very mature thing, I must admit given your...combination I expected perhaps a bit more of the sin side to show itself." He continued with a musing nod,
"Now, to other business..what do you plan to do with the rest of your very long life? Given your long life span you won't age like humans...you have nearly reached the end of your growing and it will be countless years before you change physically after wards..."
