Name: Kazek Age: 12 Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Craft: Beastcraft Rank: Weyrbrat /Candidate
History: Kazek was born at High Reaches Weyr to Atcer and Dreula. Atcer, his father, is a people healer specializing in trama wounds. His wife Dreula is a herbalist who assists him. His father began his basic training in healing and sparked an interest in him for it at a young age. He readily absorbed the knowledge presented to him by his father; learning herbs was more of a trial and he possesses no self-confidence. Often when asked about a herb he will refer to his notes.
Within two turns of beginning to work with his father, Kazek realized that he doesn't like working with people. Quite the opposite as he can barely stand sick, injured, or the ill. While wandering the weyr bowl late one evening he hears the commotion of a dragon feeding. Going down to the pens he watches the blue dragon feeding among the wherries. After the dragon leaves Kazek spots a young wherry that appears to be ill. Quickly he brings it to the attention of the resident beasthealer. When the beast healer takes the bird back to examine it, the young boy goes with him.
Appearance: He is an average 5’8” with a normal build. Blonde hair is kept super short and he doesn’t allow facial hair to grow. Kazek’s eyes are an unique turquoise color. He likes to wear black semi-loose pants, shirt and boots. A tiny notebook in his back pocket is always on him for herbal reference. Scars across his forehead and forearms, when he tried to defend his face, attest to his encounter with an enraged nesting gold fire lizard.
Personality: Include at least two flaws and two strengths. ** See note below. Kazek really doesn’t like people and thus making friends becomes problematic. Only the very persistent have a chance. He has a few childhood friends from High Reaches Weyr that he kept in touch with over time. When he finds someone neglecting an animal he verbally chastises the person.
Where he doesn’t get along with people Kazek easily acquaints himself with dragons and fire lizards. He finds that making friends with dragons is much easier than people. While preferring dragons and flits, he is currently neutral on whers.
He has no problem following authority with reasonable requests. When new challenges arrives he jumps at the opportunity to expand knowledge. However, Kazek has no patience for children under the age of 15 turns. When it comes to romantic relationships, well there is none. He prefers the classical run away approach. Anyone trying to gain his favor must be very sly about it.
Other: no bronze

Welcome to DRoP!
There's just one minor thing that needs changing, and you're good to go. As per the restricted characteristics sticky (it's up near the top of this subforum), we're not allowing any more journeyman candidates. You can have a journeyman character, however they can never be signed up for Impression.
If you want to stick with the Beastcrafter --> Dragonhealer line, then he needs to be a Beastcrafter apprentice rather than a Healercraft one. Seeing as Beastcraft is a hold craft, he wouldn't have left the Weyr to be taught that craft and, as a Weyrbred child, could stand one he was old enough. His beastcraft knowledge would be restricted to the animals used for dragon food in that case.

You've ended your history like it just happened yesterday, which (if it's your intention) is fine, but then you've got a character who is a newly made apprentice beastcrafter and knows nothing about animals. If you want to play it like that, then the history can stay, otherwise I need to know more about his life after that event.
Also, you need to change the title to Beastcrafter apprentice and change his craft from Dragonhealer to beastcraft.
After that, you should be good to go. <3
