I'm sure there are a number of people here who, much like me, were fortunate enough to avoid being victimized by rapists or their ilk. For those fortunate individuals, I pose a question. What do you think would drive an individual to harming another in such a traumatic way? Why do you think anyone could consider such behavior acceptable for even a moment? Obviously if you're here, you're the kind of person who is normal enough not to steal a moment of sick pleasure at another person's expense so this is just for opinions.

Sometimes I do get urges to hurt people.. well not people
But the one I love most..
It makes me happy.. but I never act on them
at least not physically

If I cut myself its not because I'm sad/depressed or want attention. ( and its not just cutting.. its choking, biting, slapping, make me say stupid s**t.. )
It most likely because I love how it feels, or doing it during masturbation is fine too.
It increases my pleasure.. Plus I love the blood but thats a different story.
