Introduction
We all know the story of the first Eragon. How the elves treated the dragons as any other beast and slayed one. We know how this launched them into Du Fyrn Skulblaka, the Dragon War. We also know Eragon came by one of the eggs and it hatched for him. We know he put an end to the war and formed the treaty.
We don't know the details.
Let us go back to that time, long ago. The Dragon War has raged for years and the boy Eragon has sneaked away from home. What he finds will change Alagaesia forever.

Rules
Every RP has it's rules and this one is no different.
1. At all times you must abide by the Gaian ToS.
2. There will be no godmodding.
3. Literate posts are a must. If you don't know what that means, I would find out.

Alianae walked out of Nadindel and found Cyra almost immediatly.
"Sorry Cyra, I had a bit of trouble getting away. What was is that you wanted to see me for?"
((since no one is as yet, Eragon, I suppose I can do his part.))
Eragon sneaked through the trees, heading for a small clearing not far away, making sure nobody saw or followed him. He was sure his sister had seen him go though, so he was doubly cautious. Eragon made his path go in circles to lose anyone following before heading to the clearing, to Bid'Daum.

About your brother. Remember? I followed him yesterday...quiet pointless really...but none the less, I found out quiet a few things. Her green eyes watched intently for Alianae's response.

The only reason I see fit to tell you, is that your brother is going to need your help....to put it bluntly, you brother is the first "Dragon Rider".

Alianae's eyes widened. "Dragon...rider? No! He can't be!" she whispered softly, shaking her head. But in her heart, she knew it was true. Even in her mind, a voice spoke to her, different to any she had ever heard before.
You know it's true, it said, and you have to help him. Form an alliance with the dragons. They will not harm one of their own kind. When you deem your mission complete. Come and find me. My name..is Ruialusa.
"Cyra..where is he? Can you take me to him?"

Without answering, and a flick of her tail, Cyra stared at Alianae. Her emerald eyes analized the Elfs expression. Filled with trust and concern for her brother, Cyra understood that Alianae also had a major role in the fate of Alagaesia and the war. With a slight cat nod of the head, Cyra headed in the direction of the glen she had visited just the day before.
