((We did some of this over PM and I wanted to do it in the guild. So... we are starting off from where we ended so if you want to join go ahead. There is a dead antelope in the bushes... <3))
Umo sat, looking down to the young Kajji, his crimson eyes very warm. It was like... he had greatly missed the companionship of another lion. He was glad that he and Kajji were freinds. Glancing and and continuing to wipe his face of the blood, he paused. "Kajji. I am glad I found it. I would hate to have known you were alone out here. No one deserves to be alone out here. Ever." He said, monotone as ever. His eyes blinked. It almost had hisy that this young cub was out here, all alone. He flinched, thinking of how hard it was for himself to be alone... but to be a child?
Shaking his brown mane, feeling clean and refreshed he rolled onto his side, feeling the currents of wind blow his fur. Feeling miscivious, he sat up and grabbed up Kajji with his paw, sliding him over and cleaning his face quickly. Much like a father would. It was really upsetting him that Kajji was out here alone. "Are you tired?" He asked between a lick. He knew how tough it was to get a good nights sleep when you were alone.

He struggled playfully for a moment. Shaking his head, he stilled himself so that Umo could finish cleaning his face. He felt safe with his new friend.

Umo smiled to himself, finishing washing Kajji's face and unwrapping his paws. He was gladdened by this cubs presence. "Tell me about yourself Kajji..." He said flatly, rolling onto his side and stretching his legs out and curling his toes. "I feel bad for you Kajji. I never thought I could be lonely but... to be you and lonely. " He said looking over to Kajji and rolling back over. His tail twitcing. "Tell me about your siblings... you had siblings yes? I am here to listen."

Kajji shook his head slowly, his eyes taking on a distant look. " I didn't have any siblings, at least that lived. I was born in a relitivly hot place, though I never did learn what it was called. My mother was a kind soul, the only person who could keep my father from getting angry. My father was angry all the time, I would have been dead several times had my mother not stepped in.."

Umo's face softened as he looked down to Kajji, his crimson eyes searching the young cubs for a moment before he knelt down. "I had siblings as well. They can be good and they can be bad. I understand though. I am sorry to hear that Kajji. You have not the most cheerful life... but I have a preposition. I have been offered a place in a pride Kajji, I know it is sudden but we won't have to seek food and shelter by ourselves.. we can be helped. I know it is very sudden my friend but... I am not going unless you come with. I am not going to abandon you." He said, wrapping a paw around the small one and knudging him playfully.
Umo felt like Kajii was his son already, but he wasn't and would never be. He had a responsablity in his chest and that was to keep Kajii safe... because others chose not too

Kajji grinned. A pride...he'd only heard about those. Even his friend from the graveyard hadn't invited him into one. "Alright lets go join this pride" Excitement was evident in his voice.

Umo took Kajji's grin as a positive thing, springing up from where he was and dipped his head down to head butt Kajji. "I am so happy you have decided to join them with me. I am very pleased. We will both have a chance at a new pride." He said, smiling at Kajji's excitement, his own voice calm as ever but his body bounced with the same amount of excitement. His eyes glimmered red as he bent down to head butt the cub lightly again. "We will be invited there with a happy heart."
