In celebration of Pilots sudden jump of age Ophelia had organised them a small outing to the local Chinese restraint, ‘Ginger and Spice’. It was still light when they arrived but despite this the dinner rush appeared to have already started and the place was almost full. Luckily Ophelia had booked ahead so there was a table for them, near the back and awfully close to another table that was still empty. Settling in they all picked up their menu’s to look over, Pilot flipping straight to the back to look at the deserts.

After a while, the door opened to allow a second party to enter, having booked that second table. Kerrigan had wanted to eat out somewhere recently, and Jezebel had wanted Chinese, so they'd booked a table here for the night, leaving Jeff with Marie and heading out. It was just the two of them, like when she was small, and Jeze was in a pleasant mood.
That was, until she spotted who she'd be sitting next to at the nearby table. "Oh great. You're here." she grumbled, taking her seat as her Mom had already grabbed one.
"Hey Ophelia." Kerri greeted nervously.

By the time the second party had entered they’d sent their order out all ready and a comfortable silence had descended upon the table. Pilot had his back to the door and so didn’t see the party arrive but Ophelia did and her face adopted a slightly horrified look, despite having only met the girl once Pilot had developed a grudge against her that he didn’t seem to be letting go of any time soon, Morpheus just looked confused at Ophelia and mouthed ‘What?’ at which point she quietly whispered ‘That’s Jezebel’. Morpheus’s face quickly mirrored Ophelia’s.
Pilot ignorant to all this got quite the shock when he heard her speak up. Turning to face her on his seat he greeted her with a blank face and in a voice that matched greeted her, “Hello She-Devil.”.
“Pilot! Don’t be rude!” Ophelia furiously, but quietly hissed at him before turning to Kerrigan and giving her a tired smile. “Hello again Kerrigan, how’s life treating you?”.

Jezebel tossed her hair and smirked, "Why thank you. And here I thought you didn't like me." she said with an air of great superiority she'd been practicing very hard.
Kerrigan rolled her eyes and shrugged, "All right, for the most part." she said picking up her menu. "Makes me wish I hadn't paid for reservations."

Jezebels tone caused Pilot to instinctually bristle, the sound of crackling electricity becoming audible. “I don’t. At all.” Was his cool reply.
“That’s good to hear.” Ophelia said in reply, and it was – Kerrigan had been nice to talk to in their brief meeting. “Ah, don’t despair too soon – I’ve been here before and the food is worth putting up with these two.” She said with what she hoped was an encouraging smile.

"Oh good, so you haven't gone soft." Jezebel commented, taking a sip of the water that'd been left on the table for guests. "Have you finished that hunk of junk you were working on yet?"
Kerrigan nodded, "That might make it worse because if they get us kicked out, I wouldn't be able to come back and have the good food again."

Pilot’s eyes narrowed at her comment about his work being a hunk of junk, it was just a work in progress – that was all. “It’s still in progress, masterpieces take time after all. And how is your attempts at minion gathering going.” He replied with a raised eyebrow, he was clearly mocking her; he hardly thought she was being successful in her attempts to be a villainess.
Ophelia gave a sympathetic wince and said in what she hopped was a reassuring voice, “I haven’t heard of anyone getting kicked out yet, the owners are pretty calm.”

Jezebel smiled, "I have a brand new one and he's quite a proud specimen." she stated gracefully, tossing her hair again as a waiter came over to take their orders.
Kerrigan shrugged a little, "There's always a first for everything." she said with a smile but shook her head.

“Oh really, just one? I bet he was forced anyway.” Pilot snidely shot in at the last moment before becoming the picture of innocence and turning back to his table as the waiter came up.
Giving Kerrigan another sympathetic look Ophelia temporarily dropped the conversation whilst the others ordered, instead turning to Morpheus and making small talk with him about their own meal; which they were still waiting on.

Once the waiter was gone, Jeze took the chance to retort. "I said one NEW one." she stated coldly, looking at her nails in a bored fashion. "And he likes me a lot, you'll see. Jeff'll make you wish you weren't such a nasty boy."
Kerrigan's eyebrow twitched, "Jeff is not going to do anything to Pilot, and that is final." she said firmly.
"Not yet, anyway." Jezebel said, as if it were her idea to begin with.

“And I do believe your minion count was zero before that, you can’t fool me Jezebel. He must have very poor taste then to like you and I bet he couldn’t even get near me, I’ve gotten more powerful since you last saw me.” Pilot replied, puffing out his chest proudly at the last comment.
When Morpheus heard the taste comment he gave Pilot a subtle kick on the foot under the table and a reprimanding glare. Ophelia had just given up on getting the two to even act civil to each other and was leaning back watching amused.

"Shows what you know. I already had more than one minion then!" Jezebel said, sticking her tongue out at the boy. "And more powerful doesn't mean anything - Aunt Marie says zero times 2 or anything is still zero. So you've still got zero."
Kerrigan shook her head and decided to pointedly ignore the children, turning instead to talk to Ophelia better. "So, who might this be?" she asked, indicating Morpheus.

Pilot just stared at Jeze for a moment before replying, “Your family doesn’t count.”. When she questioned his amount of power instead of answering verbally the crackling sound that had slowly died down once again picked and lifting his hand so that it wasn’t visible to anyone but Jezebel let electricity crackle around it menacingly.
“This lug? Oh just my brother, Morpheus.” She said in reply with a small smile, Morpheus giving a small wave when he was introduced.

"My family isn't my minion. My minion's tough and fought a dragon for me." she said. And it was the truth, even if she was completely exaggerating.
Jezebel stuck her tongue out at him, "What'd you do, put your fingers in a light socket? You're dumb enough for that."
Kerrigan smiled and waved back. "Nice to meet you. Nice to see I'm not the only one who has lugs for siblings that they cart around." she joked.

Pilot just made a disbelieving noise in reply to her bold claim, she was lying/exaggerating and nothing would change Pilot’s mind.
“Nu-Uh, a bunch of special kids from the shop had a big adventure together and we all got cool powers.” Pilot said in reply frowning, his words implying something bad about Jezebel for not having been there.
“Yeah, you can’t get rid of them.” Ophelia replied with a smile and a laugh. Morpheus rolled his eyes, smiling, and addressed Kerrigan, “Nice to meet you and nice to know I’m not the only underappreciated sibling.”
