When Victoria entered Kaida had been in the middle of an Arabesque and she froze in that position when she realized the situation they were in. Glancing between the two Kaida gained a slightly panicked look on her face, how where they going to explain this! Slowly lowering her leg and adopting gentle body language Kaida crept slightly closer to Victoria, the girl looked like she could use a hug. “Vi, I’m sorry we didn’t tell you before, but it’s not a big deal – Vlad is still the same person as before, still your Dad, just with girl parts.” She said as gentle as she could.

For every step Kaida took forward Victoria took one back. She didn't want to be touched or consoled. "Moms are girls. Dads are boys."
"Sometimes people just aren't happy with who they are so they make changes to make themselves happy," Vlad said as he came to stand next to Kaida. "It is okay to make changes as long as it is for yourself and not for others."

Kaida seemed to deflate and gain a crushed look when she noticed Victoria slowly backing away from her and immediately halted her forward movement. “But sometimes people have a different mental gender to their physical gender or even have no gender at all and they’re still Mom’s and Dad’s” She said solemnly, pulling back and starting to slowly drift towards Cassara. At what Cassara said she gave a firm nod to show her agreement with her wife.

"I don't care if dad is a BOY or a GIRL... What I care about is that you both LIED to me," Victoria crossed her arms and made a hmph sound. She wasn't going to hear anymore of this... It was final in her mind.

Kaida’s face had been hopeful at the beginning of Victoria’s sentence; disaster averted, but fell again when they were called Liars. “We didn’t Lie exactly, we just didn’t inform you of Vlad’s other gender. You’re not the only one you doesn’t know, I bet one of the main reasons I know is I met your Dad before he became a he.” She replied, pleading slightly for Victoria to listen. She didn’t want to fight with her daughter.

Victoria had one of those la, la, la, I cannot hear you looks. If she had been younger and less proper she would have stuck her tongue out. However she refrained. "I don't want to be here!" She screamed and stormed out of the room. Slamming the door behind her. Okay so that made her seem childish. She didn't care. She wanted to get away!

Kaida flinched at the slamming of the door and looked hopelessly towards Cassara, “What should we do? Leave her to stew or run after her?” she asked pleading for Cassara to take the choice off her, Cas was always better at dealing with kids than her.

"I'll let her do like we did. Have her fit, make her own trouble, and then deal with it," he pulled Kaida close to him. "She'll be back when the times right. I'll just call my aunt and have her stay over there for a bit. At least I know she'll be looked after."

“Okay, I hope she comes back soon. She may be a bit of a brat sometimes but she’s our brat and I don’t want her angry with us.” Kaida said with a sigh, resting her head on Cassara’s shoulder. Hopefully everything would turn out alright in the end. Only time would tell.
