"Um, try not to wander too far, Evari..." Xai called out to the girl who was hopping from tile to tile in the mall flooring. Some of the tiles were colored while most were gray, and she was determined to only step on the colored tiles. Apparently the gray tile was a deep abyss that never ended and if you fell into it you died.

It was by this logic that Evari chose to ignore Xai, because Xai was dead now. She'd been dead since shortly after the game started.

The alien sighed and ruffled her hair, watching Evari hop from tile to tile. On occasion she slipped and nearly missed a colored square, and then there were times where she was lucky and ended up getting a pair of squares to make it easier on herself. This was fun for her! Some of the tiles were green and some of the tiles were other colors, but mostly the green resembled grass and was her target. They were here to get Evari more clothes but unfortunately it was taking awhile to find anything...well anything Evari wanted. She didn't like to match, she had her own sense of style.

Eventually Evari stopped on a pair of orange tile, staring around her and watching as people around her just kept walking on the abyss of death. Oh no! "Everybody's dyyyyyyin'!" She gasped, her hands on her cheeks. Okay, that was enough of that. She was bored now! Evari looked around, searching for that new source of entertainment.

Evari insisted on standing still on this colored tile while allowing (More like forcing) groups of people around her to have to walk around her, refusing to move out of their way. She didn't want to die~! Someone called out loudly and started waving towards...her? She blinked and stared at the girl. Whoa! She was tall! But her face didn't look any older than Evari's! How was she so tall?! She looked the girl up and down and stopped when she realized she wasn't just incredibly tall, she was sitting on someone's shoulders.

Whoooa! He glowed too! Just like her! Only blue. But still! It was cool! Evari grinned and took the dangerous risk of stepping off the colored tile to run through the people walking where she was running, pushing past them until she was beside the pair of children. That looked like a lot of fun! "Hi! Yer cool!" She said to both the blonde and the glowing boy. Evari liked the way her hair was tied in a bow, and then just everything about the boy was cool. Was hat metal? Awesome!

"How's your hair a bow?" Evari asked in amazement, patting her own head. At best she could get it into a bunch of pigtails but she'd never even thought to try something this cool! She would ask how the boy was glowing and metal but...she glowed, and the Faris was stoney so it must be like that for this boy too!

It...just did that...? Lucky! She wanted her hair to do that too! And this girl's outfit was so cool! When the girl said she glowed like her brother though she grinned proudly and looked at the boy again, looking him up and down. He didn't glow red but the fact that he glowed at all made up for it. She thought she'd been the only one to glow! Wait...wait did that not make her special anymore?! Oh no! That was horrible! Evari glowed first, darnit! Ugh. But she couldn't stop someone from glowing.

"Wanna play with me?" Evari asked the two of them, totally forgetting to introduce herself. On the plus side at least this was the first time she'd forgotten to do that, so at least it seemed something Xai had been doing was sticking. Good thing too! Something had to stick with her or else Evari would just be the biggest b***h ever...not that she wasn't already starting to become one. Oops. "S'boring by myself."

Awesome! Boredom destroyed! Now they just had to figure out what to play. At the girl's question she blinked and tilted her head. She was saying something? What had she said? She looked around at everyone who was apparently alive before she remembered, laughing and pointing at the tile on the floor. "Itsa game! Ya gotta stay on the colored tile, everything else is something that'll kill you!" Evari explained with pride. Whatever it was didn't matter. It could be sharks, lava, sharp stuff and what have you as long as it killed you.

Oh. Wait. What was this girl's name? The boy was...was Gera, right? She'd said Gera glowed too. So that had to be it. Right. Okay. So Gera and... "I'm Evari." A name for a name, right? Oh, but if she went by that logic she had to give two names.

...Nope! She didn't care enough to!

Evari blinked and looked down at Gera's feet, just staring at them. Wow, he really would break them. That'd be pretty cool to see! She stepped back so the girl would have room to get down, giggling at the twirl she did before she gave her name. That was a cool name. Evari was about to compliment it when Roxy started to sing, blinking again and just listening. Wow, she was really good! She...she was...better than Evari. She frowned a little at that despite her best efforts to keep it back, watching her do the spin and smiling again. "That's a neat song! What'sit?" If Roxy knew it, Evari wanted to know it.

She glanced at Gera for a moment to see Gera looking at the floor, her gaze following down to it to see what tiles he was standing on. He was in the 'danger' area. Oh no~! "Gera's dying!" Evari gasped, putting a hand on her mouth and pointing at his feet.

Just Dance, huh? She approved of that title! Evari tilted her head when Roxy said who it was by though, having never heard of this Lady Gaga chick. But now that she had a cool song she wanted to know more! Especially if Roxy knew every song. "I've never heard Lady Gaga." Evari reluctantly admitted. She had to though, if she pretended to know who this lady was she'd never learn about her!

But there were currently more pressing matters that needed to be dealt with. Gera was dying and he didn't understand! Nor would he move! Did he want to die? Was he suicidal?! Oh, Gera~! You're much too young to know such hardships! Evari stayed in her place on her safe tiles, watching as Roxy struggled with 'saving' her brother and begged her to explain. But she already did! What more was there to explain?! She hated to repeat herself...but Roxy just seemed so desperate, and Gera obviously didn't understand. Was he stupid or something? With a sigh, Evari pointed at the tiles Gera was standing on. "Those're bad tiles! You can only walk on these tiles! And those." Evari pointed at the ones she was standing on and then a different colored and patterned tile a few feet away. Some were only reachable by jumping, but most were clustered together. "If you walk on those," She pointed at where Gera was standing. "You die!" This was serious business, people!

God, this boy was slower than a snail and dumber than a rock! Of course the tiles couldn't hurt them, it was a game, stupid! Evari sighed and let Roxy take care of her dumb brother. Boy, she hoped she never had a sibling, let alone one as stupid as this kid. She clapped and cheered when Gera fiiiiinally got onto the right tiles, wincing and closing one eye at the off tune singing coming from Roxy. Whoa! What happened to the good singing from before?! That sounded just awful! "He is~." Evari replied sagely, giving Roxy a thumbs up and a grin.

"I wanna hear more Lady Gaga." She told the blonde, though now that she'd heard the way she sang just now she was a little wary of hearing her sing for them. Um...there had to be some other way...oh! "Let's finda music store!"

Evari was going to lead the way anyway even though she didn't know where to go! She'd never been to the mall before...and she had no idea where she'd ditched Xai. Oops. Hope the woman wasn't looking for her or anything! She was about to start hopping in a random direction when Gera suddenly pointed and told them which way to go. Hm....should she trust him? He didn't...seem to bright. Evari blinked and just stared at him for a moment, eventually following her gaze along in the direction he was pointing. Ah, what the heck. What harm could it do? "'Kay." She said and then started to gracefully hop from tile to tile, occasionally hopping on a tile a few times to beat of a random tune she was humming and making up as she went along until moving on to the next tile.

It wasn't long before they were standing in front of the music store and Evari cheered. Yay! It really was here! Guess Gera wasn't so stupid after all. "Yaaaaay! ...Oh no!" Evari pointed at the tile between them and the store. It was all bad tile! Not a single colored tile in sight! And there was such a big gap! She turned to Roxy with a look of horror. "I can't jump that far!"
