Wakka found himself in a strange new land once more, the young, brightly coloured stallion had been born far from here, for the last 5 years he had done nothing but look for the land he would call home, living in a place just for a few weeks before moving on to a new place and a new adventure. He looked down at the lands from a heigh point on a hill, the cool breeze running through his wild, short mane, a smiling coming onto his black lips. Black eyes scanning for some sigh of life. Just because this was his first encounter with this strange new world, did not mean he would waste any time before having a little fun, or finding someone to have fun with.

Wakka had one rule in his life, love life, live long, love life. So the thought of finding a place to stay, or in fact any plan ahead of time was something he did not do. He seemed to get on somehow, something always seemed to tip in his favour. He climbed down from the hill, his hooves taking the first touch on the lush green grass, the first he had felt for a while since he came down here through the mountain route. A couple of weeks in the desert to be faced with the cold snow of the mountains had proven to be a challenge however it was cool to see how quickly the climate could not change, it was not boring to say the least.

His head held high, he looked up at the blue sky. Seeing a V of swans flying over head. He reared up onto his hind legs, letting out a loud neighing noise, as if to say hello to the place he would call home for now. He landed and trotted onward a spring in his step. Seeing what this new alien place had to offer a traveller like him.

It had been a very long time since Giada had made the trek from her home next to the Kawani village to the mountains she had found herself stranded on so many years ago. It wasn't a long journey for one of those monster-sized mare, but for this little usdia's legs it was one hell of an adventure. An adventure at it's end. Splashing through a small stream of spring-melt run off, the green pony giggled as she did so and thoroughly enjoyed the still crisp air of a new spring in her old home.

As she shook water droplets from her hide, an echoing call sounded not too far from where she stood, and her bright blue eyes scanned the surrounding area. The call had not sounded threatening in the least, and she knew that if she had to she was small enough to hide amongst the tall grasses by the stream and not get seen. So without much thought at all, and a shrug, she let out the loudest answering whinny her little frame could handle.

Wakka stopped in his tracks, his little ears flicking as a returning call came to him, he looked in the direction of a stream not too far away from were the cry seemed to come from, taking a change in direction and bouncing over. He could tell by the voice, he was either going to be meeting a mare, maybe a very pretty one, or a foal, or a very very very gay guy. All of which he would not have a problem meeting, all could be fun in there own little way. More so the adults than the foals, he was into a more mature kind of play. He was soon by the river, the light and clear liquid flowed. However it seemed no one was here?

Was he dreaming, after looking around he then saw a small frame, one that blended into the grass very well. He tilted his head? was it a foal? no. It was a cute little usida mare. A wider smile came onto his face as the tall mare lowered his head down to her level, his dark yet bright eyes looking into hers. "Well hello there pretty, how are you today?" He greeted batting his eye lashes a little in the way he did. Tilting his head to one side in the manor a little lost puppy would. He did not want to scare the mare, he had to admit usida must be brave. Living with creatures double their size. Being picked on. He hated it. To him a usida mare was as beautiful and had the same potential as any other women.

Little fish jumped and splashed in the stream, and a cooling wind surrounded the two, to say the sun was beating down it was not warm, just nice. Every so often a ray catching them warming up Wakka's black fur, that had grown thick because of his mountain journy, he was a little warm, however he knew it would fall out eventually, most likely at the time he would need it once more. However he had gotten used to many climates by now. So he had learned not to complain, if you are cold imagine it a beach, if you are cold imagine a hot spring. If it is neither imagine yourself with a beautiful girl. That was always a pleasant day-dream.

Not entirely sure that she was going to be answered, investigated, or otherwise; Giada shrugged once more and started to turn back to the stream to splash some more when a flash of rainbow and a very contrasting black caught her eye. Standing taller as much as she could, she watched with growing curiosity as one of the strangest stallions she had ever seen came ... Was that sauntering? Shaking her head, she knew better than to assume anything on first impressions, but unless he tried to eat her the smaller mare knew this boy was going to be fun.

She had to admit that it irked her just a touch when it seemed that he hadn't seen her and was going to walk away. Indeed, she'd just opened her mouth to call to him when his eyes trained on her and he lowered his eyes down to hers to speak to her. Smiling coyly in response to his eyelash batting, and she had to say it was some of the best she'd seen, she settled herself into a more comfortable stance and giggled lightly. "I'm doing much better than I was a moment ago," she answered softly. "Especially now that I have a big, handsome, stallion to talk to." She ended the last bit much more squarely than she had started, and winked as she did so.

Keeping her focus on him, a small bit of her heart leapt at the thought that her mate wasn't here to a) join in - or b) roll his eyes and nap while she played. Still, a handsome stallion was a handsome stallion and while nothing more than talking the talk could come out of this; he deserved her full attention.

"Aww, your cute." Came his voice, a little feminine if anything, with a strong accent which gave him away as a traveler straight away, his voice had become a mesh of all the different places he went to, he picked up sayings and phrases from all of them. Words were something he held dear, most soquili were strong, however Wakka was more likely to talk himself out of a situation than be able to escape one by physical means. He batted his eyelashes once more and the pretty little green mare, complemented by the fact she had took so kindly to his welcome, looks like she would be a fun one. Maybe someone who could show him around a little, after all she was the first person he had met in this strange new world.

"My name is Wakka Wakka. I have come here from a kingdom far far away and am looking for a little princess to show me around this strange new world? are you up for the task m'dear?" He asked tilting his head, his un kept, boyish mane flapping about in the wind. Wakka was not a fan or long hair, he found it was too much of a fuss to keep looking nice, however this shorter mane was more suitable to take care of and also gave him a cute kind of charm the ladies seemed to love. The mare seemed to have the same punk like look, he liked it. She was a pretty little thing. Really was, he had always had a soft spot for the shorter women, maybe not this short to fit his personal tastes, however she was a little diamond in the eyes, you know what they say, they are never made as big as bricks.

Giada held her neck arched and stood still enough for this ... Wakka Wakka, to take her in and get his fill. She knew that most of the taller soquili about weren't about to flirt with an usdia, but this one knew how to compliment beauty and she wasn't about to stop him. Smiling as charmingly as she could, she batted her eyelashes at him return and laughed. "I'm Giada," she informed him; "and I know I am." She said it so matter-of-factly, like it was no big thing. Shrugging, she looked this way and that at the lands about them and nodded a few times.

"What sort of thing would you like to see first, fair traveler?" Slipping into the new section of banter was easy for her, and this one fit her like a glove. Definitely appreciating the wave of his short mane in the wind, she tossed her own short tresses out of her face and waited eagerly for an answer.

Wakka wondered for a moment, to be honest he did not know what he would want to see. He wanted to see something he had NEVER seen before in fact. He had travelled so long, if every place he visited was the same he would not do it. Every place had something that made it special and he wanted to see what this land had which made it that amazing. He tilted his head slightly looking down at Gaida. "I want to see your favourite place." He smiled and looked her in the eyes once more, the theory made sense to him, her taking him to her favourite place must be something special, or she would not choose it to be so. If it was boring, he could tell she was a mare who simply would not go there.

He thought for a moment about where he had come from, his first home with his family was very plain and barren, they lived in a herd who were struggling to survive however no one wanted to do anything about it. Some spiritual reason meant they would stay there. However he was different, he refused to sit there and let himself waste away. He stood up to them, called them all fools. Shock his dog damn booty and marched off which his head held high, if that meant he was going to hell at least his life was better than it would have been. Today is all that mattered after all. However he was sure the spirits were trying to get to him. Sending a red beast to kill him. He smiled and ruffled the fringe of Gaida with his nose. "Shall we be in our way? honey?"

Giada watched Wakka Wakka for a moment as he stood in fairly obvious contemplation. She wasn't about to ask what was on his mind, as that was a private matter, and smiled as she eyed him. Musing on her own, she closed her eyes and tried to think of where her favourite place was. The first thought was her new home with Sweetpea within the lands of his unique herd, but she shook that away. That was when it hit her. He had to have come from the mountains, but there was no way he'd seen the wildflower field that was nestled away within the lower regions.

As he nosed her and asked if they should be off, she laughed and pranced slightly in place. "Oh yes! I know of the perfect place!" Dancing her way back towards the mountains he'd just come from, she glanced over her shoulder and smiled brightly. "What do you think about wildflowers?"
