I'm not joining, but if i were to join, It would probably be the Marines or the Navy as an officer.
I'm prime officer material, but my whole family has gone through the military and i want to be different.

but that doesn't stop the Army ROTC at my University from trying to recruit me. I like the attention, it's flattering, but i have too much going for me out here for me to consider signing my life away.

I am US Navy Enlisted. and a chief at my barracks is trying to get me kicked out. I currently have to Go to Chiefs Mast and i am probably going to Captains Mast.

When I join the military I'm going into the Marine Corps b/c for 1. I don't like the other branches dress uniforms
2. am in MCJROTC
3.so far only one of my ancesters have been Marines(every one else was Airforce)
4. b/c the marines kick a**

i goin to join the marines because they're the most advanced and the things they do are more challenging the the other branches and i like a challenge, AJROTC isnt much of a challenge

u do know the marines are part of the navy right
which means that u can join the navy and become a marine officer they go through the same boot camp and everything

u do know the marines are part of the navy right
which means that u can join the navy and become a marine officer they go through the same boot camp and everything

You're actually wrong. The Marines are a part of the DEPARTMENT of the Navy, not the Navy itself.
And as for the Marines and the Navy going through the same boot camp, you couldn't be more wrong. The two have completely different boot camps. Look it up sometime.
