Rayan was in white ops mode... (yes, again). Why? Well, the answer would be easy enough to anyone that knew him: escaping the clutches of the spawn of all evil aka Darkheart! The (idiotic) man was dressed from head to toe in white, which included -- but was not limited to -- a white beanie that covered all of his hair (mostly there to protect his precious hair from getting dirty in any way, shape or form), a thick white jacket that not only kept him dry and warm but blended very well into the snow-covered ground, white "army" pants that were just as comfy and durable as his jacket, and of course, white boots. Where did he get white boots? ...nobody knows, and nobody should ask.
Crawling across the ground (yes, crawling), Rayan paused and squinted against the glare of the sun on the snow, looking left and right for any signs of his black wolf. Thank goodness for daylight, because had this been night, then Darkheart would blend far too easily into the shadows (and his white ops gear would be obsolete). As it were, the sun was shining beautifully and the birds were singing in the trees (annoying things, they were giving his position away!) and all was calm in the Fort... for now. (For Rayan was bound to crawl his way into yet another hole, as he always did, because Rayan is an idiot.)
Speaking of which, Rayan was crawling across the open field (because his white ops would be less camouflaged against the brown wood of the buildings, he'd told a curious passerby -- and then questioned how said passerby had been able to see past his camouflage! ...said passerby had declined to comment and simply skittered away). Anyways, Rayan didn't see the hole in front of him (because it was covered in snow)...and fell in with a blood-curling "NOOO!!! HE'S GOT MEEEE!!! NOOOOOOoooooo..." His voice was drowned out as his head plummeted into the hole... leaving a rather strange scene with his two white legs sticking upward and flailing like crazy... um, white leg things.
And somewhere on the other side of the fort, Darkheart was no doubt laughing... for he had been the one to dig that hole (and many others placed strategically throughout the fort) and covered it with snow. Ah, how he savored the sounds of Rayan's screaming in his head.

EternalRose was minding her own business as she always is, strolling along the beaten paths over a nice, pretty blanket of snow, on her way to her humble home where Tehila was no doubt waiting eagerly for her return. She was nearly prancing and if she could, she would have also been humming. Suddenly, in the middle of her walk, she paused quite suddenly and turned her pink little head over to where she noticed some odd movement. Curious, and unable to help herself, she stalked over.
Suddenly, the moving white rock screamed and fell into ... a hole? Rose's head slowly tilted in a curious expression, something she had seen humans do. Then, it screamed; she jumped, startled. She hair stood on ends, her eyes wide, her body stiff, and her nose flaring. What on earth would make such a horrible sound? She slowly scooted over, started at the strange white objects flailing terribly in the air. She lowered her body and sniffed at what she had now decided was a man. Excited now, she whined while starting to dig at him perhaps in attempts to get him out but probably hitting away at his body and maybe even head.

In the midst of his mindless flailing (and muffled screaming), Rayan failed to notice the soft padding of wolf feet on the snow above him. However, he most definitely noticed when something started to -- what he could only describe as -- punch its way through the layers of snow in his direction. He stilled for a split moment, which was when he heard the whining and realized that it was a pair of wolf paws that was currently swiping him in the stomach and... NO! Not the beanie... the BEANIE has flown off!!!
Screaming again in terror, Rayan could only assume it was the horror known as Darkheart come to make his life miserable... by messing up his precious hair (that wolf had no mercy)! If Rayan had been thinking, however (which he never does anyways), he would've known that it was far beneath Darkheart to whine. But in his state of panic, Rayan attempted to dig his way further into the snow in hopes of escaping the clutches of the evil creature. Suffice to say, he didn't get very far.
The muffled scream of "NOOOO!!! SOMEONE SAVE MEEEE!!!" could be heard across the field.
