Some of you may be asking this question, as I have mentioned them a few times regarding the mag, and also a link to them has appeared on our front page. Lemme tell you a story...
Long time ago I joined a guild called the 4th Element. It was awesome, exactly what I wanted in a guild at the time. Its the biggest graff guild on Gaia. Over the years it has fluxuated and deflated, as guilds tend to do here. My interests shifted slightly, and well, I didn't find the 4th Element to be a place I needed any more.
After a long time spent away from Gaia I came back. I eventually started this guild you see before you today. I wanted this place to focus slightly more on the "arty" art side of Public vandalism, but not be contained to it. This is a place of complete artistic freedom. I don't care if you have never been outside in your entire life, as long as you have a cool idea, or some sort of skill with a pen or brush or wacom, then your welcome.
But I still see the 4th Element as the godfather of ours, so me and Jonathonn are making sure the two guilds work closely together.

like merging them? that sounds kinda difficult and unnecessary. It could function pretty well as two separate guilds with mutual members. The 4th Element was the only reason I ever went on gaia before, I'm just glad to have an active art forum to go to again.

We will always be two seperate guilds with our own particular image. We'll just be doing interguild things, collabing, keeping each other alive, etc.

The guilds keep two seperate things.
To me, I am in graffiti for the art. I am an artist, and I am also an actor, photographer, poet, and whatever else I attempt.
Kaz -- the founder and true godfather of gaia graffiti -- was more on the hiphop community side.
But while me and Izak do hold the same opinions, guild running, and etc, they will stay two seperate guilds. Merging does sound like an interesting idea, but I really don't see it happening.
It wold just be very confusing, and a whole lot of fixing something that's not broken, per say.
But I think our guilds will be a little closer then most affiliates. I encourage everyone on T4E to join this guild, and I hope it'll go the same for you all.

And yeah, if we were going to merge we would just have to start a whole new guild and start from scratch. And thats just silly. We would loose all the awesome content and vibes we have built up.

I dont think merging the 2 guild is a good idea
I am in both but i like this one better
cuz its not too popular..u can get ur voice heard..u can keep track of forums..u get to know ppl easy
everything is simple
AS the 4th element -it has gone mainstream
TO ME..on gaia its like the Soulja Boy of hip-hop..popular but kinda ..yeah u know what im saying
the 4th element guild has become so big..that the actual graffiti part of it is very small..now its mostly idiots gathering..no offence to the writers ..im talkin about the ppl who dont have anything to do with the guild and spam the forum with personal topics
thats my perspective...id like to know what u think of it..and correct me if necessary

We do have the advantage of being new and small your right. In a year we'll delete this guild and start from scratch again to keep it that way. Lol. kiddin.

T4E is kinda dead because of people like you. You sit around, and wait for the next big thing, and jump the bandwagon. I haven't seen you post a single thing, and i've been a member for wwwwaaaayyyyy too long. I'm not here to attack you or anything, but please participate in T4E before you go dissing it. Oh, and their's no spam.
