Welcome to the first Kingdom Hearts-based pack in Shaoilin Wolves! Don't worry, you don't have to have played the games to get what's going on here. Confining the series' plot to fit a setting like this would be impossible anyway, as wolves cannot wield oversized keys nor summon the power of Disney and Final Fantasy. 8D;
There will be elements from the KH series used in the belief system and map and such, but these are not hard to learn or get acquainted with, I think. The rest I have taken much creative liberty for, things that have nothing to do with the game but that I decided to add.

 ● On the subject of “Three”: xxxxx~ The Realm of Light plays heavily upon the number 3, considering it a strong and almost magical number to rely upon. In their legends, they believe that their ancestor was one of three brothers. It is three wolves who head hunting trips (POWER), train soldiers (VALOR), and oversee the pack with the alpha (WISDOM). The pack also has The Three Laws, a trio of statements that sum up their core beliefs. Some may lean into the Rule of Three tenet, but this is not necessarily the case.
● On the subject of The Three Laws: xxxxx~ Law #1 TRUTH: This pack pursues our own, personal, individual “truths”, and respects the many paths wolves take to reach their own. xxxxxThe Realm of Light is based around the legend of “Kingdom Hearts” and ever seeks to reach a level of enlightenment where they will be welcomed into Kingdom Hearts, their version of Heaven/Nirvana/etc. More information can be found in below posts.
xxxxx~ Law #2 KNOWLEDGE: This pack welcomes experimentation, theories, and new ideas for the betterment of Telk and future generations. xxxxxWolves here are especially interested in the activities of humans (the practice itself may cause derisive comments from their brethren), believing that they too have a strong hold of their destinies. In the future they hope to create a bond with one of the villages, whereupon their knowledge of these two-leggers will grow and expand exponentially. This isn’t to say that The Realm doesn’t research other species, though.
xxxxx~ Law #3 HISTORY: While this pack ever strives towards a brighter future, may we never forget our past, however dark it might be. xxxxxThe Realm of Light fully believes in the adage “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”. As such, there is always a Chronicler (currently Oathkeeper) who is told orally all notable events in the pack’s past so as to carry on this tradition. When a hard decision must be made, a good method is to look upon the past to decipher an answer; this is also a key idea for meditation.
● On the subject of the treatment of others: xxxxx~ Whether they are born in the pack, brought into the pack, or merely affiliated/a visitor, all are treated with respect and kindness. A wolf should respect whatever position in life someone has chosen, even if you do not agree with their beliefs or question their sanity.
xxxxx~ The only exception to this rule is if the animal in question is leagued with our mortal enemies, The Heartless or The Nobodies; this shouldn’t be a problem, though, as we have not spotted either of them in quite some time . . .
xxxxx~ There are not so much “ranks” as there are “lifestyles” here. Omegas are given the same treatment as any other wolf unless they are on probation.
● On the subject of love, mating, and pups: xxxxx~ Both heterosexual and homosexual couples are allowed. The only stipulation is that wolves part of homosexual couples need to consent to act as surrogates for other pairs that cannot conceive, should the need arise.
xxxxx~ Mates do not have to join the pack, but it’s encouraged. Puppies will also be taken into the pack should the non-pack member not be part of a different pack. If The Realms numbers are ever low, or if the non-packmember is part of a part currently in some sort of unrest, all pups will be kept in The Realm of Light out of safety for them – no exceptions.
xxxxx~ Lone pups/teens that cannot find caretakers within the pack automatically fall under Oathkeeper’s jurisdiction and care. This is to ensure that the younglings get the proper training to become self-sufficient.
● On the subject of fighting and war: xxxxx~ While we do train warriors, we do not amass an army. The art of fighting is more used to teach a wolf discipline and focus than it is to be used as a tool for violence.
xxxxx~ Unless given good reason, we are to remain neutral to other packs’ conflicts. While we may offer shelter, training, food, and other commodities as a sign of friendship, allowing ourselves to become nestled in outside issues only begets more trouble. Ours has a simple life seeking enlightenment and an enriching life for many generations; this should not change so easily.
