"I can't believe I lost that bet," Damon grumbled, trying to look as cool as possible while watching over not one, but TWO kids. One of which wasn't even his and yet, here he was at a fast food restaurant in their play palace. The only reason why he was watching over Azrael was because he had lost a bet with Ary, who was originally supposed to watch him for the day.
Azrael leaned against one of the slides, positively bored. Damon was in charge, they were stuck at a small indoor play place and they weren't leaving till Ilyrosa tired out. After hearing about her abnormal amounts of energy and sleeping schedule, he was sure they would be stuck in the place for the next few days until Damon explained she was getting close to another of her sleeping days.
"Ily, you're not supposed t' throw those," he commented to the girl as the balls in the ball pit started flying everywhere.
"Why nowt? You not th' boss o' me," the girl replied coolly, only pausing momentarily in her game of seeing if she could dig a hole all the way to the bottom so she could sneak about and scare people.
"Cause. Tis the rules," Azrael answered, rolling his eyes. She was a stubborn one and only based who the boss was on a wrestling match. You win, you're boss and if she wins, she's the boss. End of story. And she didn't play fair either.

Jude walked in with his child upon his shoulder, the boy had begun to eat solid food and what better solid food was there to a child than overly processed meat? Mind you, delicious overly processed meat. Nihm giggled, his eyes immediently focusing on the bright colors of the play palace that was put into view. He stretched out his hands and made little noises, wanting to go in and play. "Hold on, we have to eat first." Jude said with a laugh, ordering their food before he and his son sat at a nearby table.
"... Damon?" the man muttered, though loud enough so the other could hear him. He tilted his head slightly to the side, surprised to see the other there and... with two kids!? He knew the other had recently had a daughter, but where in the hell did the boy come into the picture?
"Why didn't you tell me!?" the brother exclaimed, extremely confused by what was going on at the moment.

Damon blinked at his name being called, head turning towards the sound to lock eyes with none other than his half brother. Drat. "Oh... hi Jude. Tell you what?" he asked, completely oblivious to what was so surprising about him. He did tell Jude about Ily, didn't he? He was sure he had...
"I think he's wondering why I'm here," Azrael called out helpfully, rolling his eyes at how oblivious the guy was. Sheesh, he may be a bounty hunter but that obviously didn't mean he was the brightest crayon in the box.
"Huh? Oh, right... Well, he's not mine if that's what you're wondering. Lost a bet, so here I am as the unwilling babysitter," Damon explained, looking embarrassed about the whole ordeal as it was. Although his expression quickly changed to surprise as Azrael wandered over to Jude and sat down in a free seat near them.
"Said bet was to Ary, the person who I told you about last time we ran into each other and my babysitter for the day before she wanted to go out somewhere," Azrael continued with a smug little grin. Course, he was also the one that persuaded Damon to take them to the play place in the first place.

The brother nodded as the boy spoke, his brother wasn't the brightest and he was glad that at least someone knew what he was talking about. The young boy seemed to be a tad smarter than his half brother was! Kudos to Azrael though in Jude's mind that wasn't hard)!
"I always told you gambling was risky." Jude said, doing his best to hide in the laughter that was just begging to spurt out. "Especially when it's to a girl who can beat you up." he said, finally giggling slightly. The whole thing the youngster had told him about was far too funny to keep quiet about for too long before he just had to mock his brother.
Nihm giggled after his father did, sensing from his guardian the amusement of the atmosphere and mimicking the happy laugh.
"By the way, how is your daughter? I don't see her..." he said, looking around he was unable to see the adorable little ball of spaz.

Damon rolled his eyes. "It was a simple bet. I didn't realize she-well, I didn't realize she wasn't quite as strong as she was. She could probably pick us both up and throw us across the room without much trouble," he replied, trying to defend his ego from being deflated too much. Gah, he should have known Ary was a full-blooded dragon BEFORE agreeing to the bet. Wouldn't have looked like quite the fool then.
"Hm? Ily? She's... No longer in the ball pen. I dunno where she is, but she's nearby," he replied glancing back at the ball pen and seeing no sign of her. Yet, she hadn't left cause he could still smell her.
"Prob'ly at the bottom trying t' scare people," Azrael replied, snickering a bit at how prideful Damon was. Jeeze, any bigger of an ego and his head wouldn't fit through the doorway.

Jude was still attempting to get over the giggles, the whole situation was far to amusing to just let go, "Never underestimate the power of a woman." he said, knowing his brother had a bit of a soft spot for them. Just because they were pretty didn't mean they were always nice and peaceful, "You remember that too." he said, tapping his boy on the nose who sneezed in response.
"Oh dear, don't come down with a cold Nihm." the man said, looking over at the ball pen, "I wonder what she would do if I jumped in and dug around to find her." he said with a laugh, obviously he wouldn't do that, he was far too big for those things.
"It seems as if you are the babysitter." the man said to Azrael, while Nihm giggled and stretched his arms out to the boy.

Damon just rolled his eyes, not responding to his half-brother's comments. "She might end up pouncing on you and asking half a billion questions," he replied, knowing that was the most likely response his daughter would give to anyone searching for her.
"Yeah. Bit tough t' watch over two kids," Azrael replied with a wide grin and ignoring the dark look Damon sent him. "And hi to you too Nihm," he added, giggling.

Jude laughed with a wave of his hand, "I'm sure you exaggerate, I'm sure she's a perfectly behaved young lady." the man said, adjusting Nihm and looking towards the ball pit.
Before getting the young lady he laughed at the young Azrael's comment, "I like you kid, you're funny." he said with a grin. Anyone who was that good at picking on his brother was on Jude's good list, and therefore Nihm's.
The young boy cooed, his eyes flickering over to the ball pit as he made grabby hands at it. "Oh? You want to go find Ilyrosa, Nihm?" the parent asked before following his son's eyes to the pit.
"Oh Ilyrosa~!" he called, Nihm making loud noises as well.

"Perfectly behaved is an understatement," Damon called out, silently counting down till the time when Ily jumped from the ball pit and latched onto the male's leg. Azrael seemed to be doing the same thing while keeping a good distance from the play place.
Ilyrosa peeked out from between the netting, a single orange eye glowing in the darkness as she looked at Nihm and Jude. Jude looked strangely like her dad, but far less of a physical threat. In fact, he looked like a far weaker target and the PERFECT thing to tackle!
A flash of various colors was all Damon or Azrael could see as Ilyrosa darted from the depths of the colorful pit and latched onto Jude. "HI! How yew know my name? Yew wook wike daddy! Why? Yew his brudder? Azzie an' his brudder dun wook the same so why yew two do? OOH! Who's dat?! He yews babeh? Can I have a cookie? I wike th' chocowate chip kind," she asked in a rush, spilling out half a dozen questions and several statements at the speed of light.
"Ily, no cookies. I told you that already," Damon said, managing to catch the last bit of what she said. He hoped dearly that she would learn to speak slower as she aged so others could actually UNDERSTAND her.

Jude had barely even seen the girl rush towards him, it seemed as if she had teleported from the ball pit to his leg, "Oh my, well hello there Ilyrosa." he said, his eyes wide as saucers. She didn't seem like a bad or misbehaved child, only a bit hyper.
"She's not bad, just a little ball full of energy." Jude defended, patting the young girl on the head, careful to avoid the tiny horns placed on her forehead.
He gently nudged her off of his leg as he bent down to speak with her at her own level, "My name is Jude, I actually am your father's brother." he explained, hoping that was what she had asked. It was quiet hard to tell, her words rushing by as they did.
He had seen her eyes flash towards Nihm, and could only assume she had asked about him as well, "And that is my son, his name is Nihm." he smiled up at the young boy, who waved to the new face, his grey eyes smiling brightly.

Ily growled slightly at the patting, even going so far as to try and bite his hand. She wasn’t some puppy to be patted! How dare he?! As she was nudged off, the little wrath girl took a step back and peered at him curiously. “Daddy’s brudder? Does dat mean Nim is my... uh... cousin?” she asked, tail flicking back and forth as she watched the two, even waving back slightly at the purple kid.
“Ily, don’t bite him please,” Damon scolded tiredly, sighing and rubbing the scars on his hand from their first argument. She could really latch on with those fangs of hers. Thankfully, they hadn’t been long enough to cause too much damage.
“NO WAY!” Azrael growled, stomping a foot. “You can’t be related cause den we’re related cause I’m purple like him!” he explained, meaning Nihm and their similar skin color. Ily just stared at him, bright orange eyes flicking back and forth between the two as it suddenly dawned on her that they did indeed have purple skin. “EEEE!!!! YEWS POIPLE!!!!” she squealed. “I knows lots an lots of peoples dat are poiple!” Tail wagging and with such a goofy grin on her face, Damon couldn’t help but laugh softly at how much his daughter looked like an overeager puppy.

Jude's eyes widened as the young girl snapped at him, but he answered her anyways, "Well yes, I do suppose you two are related then." he said with a quick nod as he shifted Nihm to a more comfortable position. "See Nihm? You have a cousin." he laughed, pointing to Ilyrosa.
Jude looked at his brother, "I think this is poetic justice, since you were always a hellion for mother." he teased his brother, unable to help it. They had always been like this, so back and forth messing with each other.
Jude laughed as the children argued, finding their reasoning to be quite amusing. He wasn't sure he wanted to explain it all now though, telling a child they were adopted was something you normally did at an older age.

Ily only grinned, sticking her tongue out at Azrael when she was proven correct in her statement. “Duh Azzie!” she giggled, pouncing on the little demon in an attempt to put a smile on his face. The little pumpkin demon could be so GRUMPY some days! It was like he didn’t know how to run around and play. Well, she was certainly going to change THAT.
“Ily! Get off me! I’m not-HEY! St-St-Stop tickling me!” Azrael laughed as he squirmed in hopes to evade the tickling fingers.
“Nu-uh! Yews need t’ be happier!” Ilyrosa giggled, squeaking and laughing uncontrollably as he started to tickle her.
Damon scowled and stuck out his tongue. “Hellion or no, I didn’t tear up the house and bite people,” he replied smoothly, remembering little of his childhood. Hey, you try to remember something that happened years and years ago and see how well THAT works. “Although, I do remember how you would paint and color all over the walls and how mum made you clean them. You made such a fuss and forced me to help lest you color all over my room,” he added, a smirk on his face and looking rather smug about getting his brother back. Damon, one. Jude, zero.

Nihm had to have thought that something Damon said was funny, because he burst out into laughter, pointing a little finger at the man and covering his mouth with the other. Jude at least found it rather cute, but he was sure that Damon wouldn't be quite as amused. "Yes, I do remember that. But hey, at least I did get you to help, right?" he said with a wink, attempting to prove that even then he had ways to manipulate the other brother.
Looking over at the two playful kids Nihm giggled, beginning to squirm and try to wiggle towards them in an attempt to play. He didn't want to be cooped up in Daddy's arms any longer, and wanted to be free. "I think you should wait a little bit Nihm." the man said with a nervous laugh, afraid that his poor boy might be trampled by the ticklemonster or her victim.

"It wasn't as if I really had a choice," Damon replied, rolling his eyes. Damn he was good. After all the years of being apart he still could somehow get a one-up on him.
Ily eventually managed to push Azrael off her, still giggling from the tickling. "See? Happier!" the girl giggled, grinning happily at Azrael who did indeed appear to be in a better mood. At least, for the moment.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," the orange haired demon replied, sticking his tongue out at her. Thankfully she didn't tackle him and start tickling him again, allowing the boy some sort of reprieve.
