 Aadi had seen many things.. Was called many things. Different animals called him various types of big cats like a lion- a cheetah... wasn't he a leopard? Yes... Because that is what Ama was and that is what Twana believed. To settle things he had finally found Twana.. After he had met Ama. Twana had his heart.. in a tight hold since he was little but she. Was a wilddog.. and things wouldn't be able to work.. Her family even told him so and ran him out of the lands that Twana and himself played in. A tragic love story only he found himself in to another love story.. but this time. Without a full heart to give..
Through the day he spent traveling with his mother.. Letting her lead and chasing away any threats that came to her. His dear mother. How how he loved her so.. But it wasn't the time to pretend that things were alright. His heart was torn. As his mother settled in a place to rest- an old tattered den that he had to redig to make it fit for her. He nodded and watched til she fell asleep..
He looked up as the sun was started to settle in to the land.. Darkness... The only way he could travel as he set off for where Ama was... His butterfly friend trickling around him... "I have to at least show her that I care.." She told me not to leave but what can I do? Torn between it all.. Thankfully his mother had traveled very much close to the pride as he only took a few minutes to get there. Sniffing out the place where they had met- only to see his friend point him the way. "There." Sitting in front of the place as he mildly started to paw at mother earth. "I have to find my heart first... Ama... before I can give it to you." Saying this as he thought of her but trickles of Twana's memories filled his head as well. "She'll only be a friend after this." Nodding as he looked up.. then down to the ground as he pawed.. digging. Digging..
After he made a hole big enough.. he ran away- only to return with a wildflower.. placing it in the spot before putting the dirt around it.. NOT only that he rubbed his paw and arm.. against the ground. His scent.
"I'll be back one for.. for forever."
Dashing away in to the direction of Peke ne.
It wasn't until hours of running only to stop for water.. that he got even close. He wouldn't venture too far in to the pack lands because Twana told him the guards would be thickened and on alert.. So he made his way up in a tree. Watching. Waiting.. and collecting his breath. She told him that Zuberi always left the lands only to come back at misc times.. he hoped. He would get a glimpse but for now he was resting just a tad to collect his strength. Ears planted to his head as his whimsical friend flew about... watching too as he flew across the land to go on alert. Twana told Aadi how her mate was.. though she loved him- how could she completely fall for someone whom always went out!? Aadi could not understand these ways.. In so. He would protect Twana from the evil that she was not seeing.. WHO COULD DO THAT TO A MATE!!

 Zuberi was smiling, a very happy dog, it wasn't too long ago that he had a litter of pups, a litter of pups that wasn't with his mate, but another wild dog. None the less his pups were now living with him and his mate. The male wild dog was overjoyed with his little family, though he wasn't entirely sure that Twana felt the same way. In his way he thought he was saving Twana from something, not causing her pain, and she was happy enough with her little family.
Zuberi made his way out of his pack lands, he wasn't going to stay gone long, but he wasn't going to go for long, not with eight pups waiting in his den for him, he couldn't do that to poor Twana, she had been so great lately, helping raise the pups, barely of pup baring age herself.
As the adult male moved out of the pack lands a sent caught his nose. He looked around, what he smelt was something other than a wild dog, it was another creature. He looked around him and spotted the leopard sitting not far from him, the dog was happy tail wagging he walked towards the leopard eager to make a new friend.

When the butterfly came back to him he rose his head up to only see the butterfly flicker and flying in another direction.. When his eyes drew to where the butterfly went.. his eyes were greeted with a dog. HIS eyes- a crystal blue knew VERY well how to function and distinguish things apart. An anger started to harvest in him.. he had never been fully angry before and the feeling was started to make him sick to his stomach. A VERY loving leopard now faced with the male whom deceived his .... old love.
As if he didn't already walk a thousands miles to see her.. his body felt as though energy came out of nowhere- causing him to jump down the tree.. He was in his defense mode- though he would possibly move to offense mode in seconds.
"How can you be happy!" He screamed in his head.. Fangs come out for a brief moment.. It began to make him angry and the smell.. the scent of twana.. He tossed his head to the side and gulped.
As he stood on all fours.. and almost neared with just a few steps.
"How can.. you be happy." He was almost growling in protection. His butterfly fleeing and setting itself on the tree as it watched on.. How much he had to suffer without Twana ... then to hear that all his suffering was for nothing if she was almost in the same hole. Except SHE had a mate.. just s slob for one. Or so he thought.

Zuberi froze in his tracks, looking around himself to see if perhaps this creature was yelling at someone else, but as far as he could see he was the only one in the area. He stayed where he stood a fair distances away from the black leopard still, not wanting to get too close to the obviously disturbed creature.
"Why I am not sure what has made you so angry my friends, but why not be happy, it is a beautiful night in the desert, and my family is well." Zuberi tried to sound cheerful but he was slightly uneasy about this leopard so close to his home lands. Part of him just wanted to turn and run back to his den, protect his young and his mate. He smiled at himself, very proud that the father side of him was coming out.

"YOU! Have." He snarled and gave out a growl.. but his growl almost ceased when the male announced a 'family'. And since Aadi did a lot of assuming he assumed that Twana had children but.. how could that be! She didn't look it when he visited her!
A feeling of self-worthlessness took him over as he felt his heart crush almost immediately.
"Twana.... has a family now?" His voice was not low but it was not high neither.. just a repeat. He- finding out that his past love had children and she didn't even tell him?
"She has kids. She has kids!?" He repeated and felt a huge pain in his chest. "She couldn't have! I just saw her!" He rushed over to him almost now a few feet away.. enough to take at least two strides to take him down. "Your lying~ You are just spurting out all lies! Boasting about how many you can play with.. " He growled and his claws just about about seconds to coming out.

Zuberi shook his head, he was so confused but this leopard, but when her heard they he knew Twana, the wild dog's body twitched, he felt the urge to turn and run make it back to Twana before this leopard could... he was sure that the packs guards could stop the leopard and Twana and the pups would be safe.
"You know Twana?" Zuberi said carefully, he wanted to know more before he ran home, perhaps they weren't in danger he didn't want to alarm the pack over something minor. "How do you know Twana?" he asked, the wild dogs voice was low and he eyed the leopard cautiously, he made sure that he was standing between the leopard and the pride.
"Twana has a family, I am her family. And the pups." Zuberi didn't feel the need to say that the pups were biologically hers, to him it didn't make a difference, and he was pretty sure it didn't make a huge difference to Twana either.
He stood waiting for for the leopard to answer him, to reassure him that he didn't need to run home and protect his family. His stance said everything about how he though and felt about the situation.

Aadi's paw took a heep of dirt and brought it up to throw it between them. Showing his anger and how he didn't agree.
"I AM HERS." He snarled. "I WAS HER FIRST!" Which might have seemed very odd in many other creature's eyes but they loved each other. He promised he would stay with her! But now the promise was broken and he couldn't forgive himself.. How she just traveled so far away from him where his mother heading the opposite direction.
"She is my first love." He said as darted at the wilddog. Those two strides had NOTHING on him at that moment while his drive was anger and heartache. Two things that were unknown by now would become very known in to this leopard. And in the first sign of the male's body he jumped on him. Taking his front paws and pushing the weight to grab ahold of him. He was an expert hunter- knowing full well how to take down a prey and of course the bigger cat species had more strength but when you were distraught and fighting without a clear head.. The odds could equal.
His thoughts were on this male- and his anger was torwards this male.. Even if a pack of wilddogs- dangerous in packs.. He came because he needed to fight for what he believed was right even if he got killed.. Someway.. Ama would know that much.

Twana had over heard Zube leave, as he often did. Every time brought her closer and closer to tears. All the pups were asleep now, not her pups, not her real family, but they needed her, needed the stability. it just all made her wonder how many times Zube had done this. "I think I shall go and ask him." She says quietly, a silent rage building up, she was stressing over everything now. Unsure what to do or where to go with anything.
She began following his scent, what else coudl she do. If the pups woke up theyw oudl be fine, tehy'd woken up alone before, a pang at her heart made her feel bad,s he was doing what Zuberi did to her all the time. "I'm sorry little ones..." She murmured, but kept on her way.
"Strongear!? Strongear!?" She beckoned, before the scent got stronger and angry voices arose. Aadi... Aadi!? He had come back for her! Her companion was home to see her at last, it had been a long time and by the sounds of it he hadn't been listening to her warnings. "Silly boy..." She sighed softly and intruded, without a care, without a thought and without fear. Aadi was her dearest friend and owned half of her heart, claimed her as his without a word spoken, she treasured that bond.
"Aadi." She smiled. "Calm down hun." She whispered sweetly. "And yes Zube, we know one another, we go back before I'd met you." Her voice was steady adn matter of factly, after all she was about the facts. The facts only and no false story would do.
"We have a unique bond, talk once in a while, but have moved on... in a way." She lowered her head slightly. She'd never dream of cheating on Zube, but now felt the hurt of knowing those pups back in tehir den weren't hers, she looked up again, eye's glistening. "But I chose you Zube." She heaved a deep breath, pain causing her chest to ripple a little, but she wouldn't cry.
"Aadi, my dear, why have you come this evening?" She asks, getting a good control on herslef.

Zuberi tried to duck the attack of the leopard but none the less felt there bodies collide, he didn't want to call for help, but it felt good knowing that the pack was in hearing distance if he wanted he could call loud enough and they would come and help, they would take care of this intruder.
Zuberi tried to make sense of what the other was saying, he knew Twana, she was his love... none of it made sense to Zuberi he was trying to straighten it all out in his head when he heard his beloved come up behind them. He did his best to right himself, he was ashamed to have been in a fight with another creature, particularly now that Twana has seen. He bowed his head in her presence trying to show her respect.
Zuberi didn't like the way that she spoke to this other creature. He tried to position himself between them. Zuberi may have had his indiscretions, but they were never about love, he had only been with those other females, because he didn't want to pressure Twana... she was younger than him, and was only know reaching a mature age. Now that he heard Twana and it talking about love.

Barely his claws held on, no. He didn't break to skin yet and the plan had failed.. Twana was here and once his ears heard the ring of her voice and the scent hit his nose he almost immeditatly pushed the wilddog asside with ease and made a nasty growl at him. A warning one, but nonethless nasty snarl as he looked at Twana- the kind Aadi almost surfaced- but still he was angry.
He was in an offensive stance but you saw that his body was still heated.. and stopping all the sudden made his head hurt. "Twana." Huffing ashe spoke her name- eyes shooting at her as he started to walk to her.. Yes he had grown so much bigger- towering over these wilddogs easily except for the full grown adult but soon.. He would too tower over him. The foolish actor made himself known right in between the line of him and twana.. It angered him and caused him to growl and snarl at him before walking closer almost half way to Twana without a care to the male. "Twana~ come here." He tried to contain the anger. "And I'll tell you- just .. bring yourself here.. I've came to see and talk you a bit. Do me the honor?" He grew up in to a well mannered Leopard. He found himself thanks to her.. and thanks to another that he had to fix himself- to come back to her fully.
He looked to the male.. a sneering look as he wanted to exploit the affairs the other had. How did he think Twana felt? She had told him her troubles the last time he came close to the grounds. How he adiled to take care of her... still! That was troubling him as he gazed upon her again.. Absorbing how she had grown.. but still on his feet in case her mate wanted to rush him out- he would have a fight to get Aadi away.
'How long has it been? Not too long he hoped- when he heard she had a mate- outraged but accepted it to only hear that he brought pups home?' He wasn't being told the whole story which got this leopard wrapped up still.. All around her fingers..

Zuberi growled when the leopard moved closer to his mate. It was frustrating that there was little he could do about it, he wasn't going to pick a fight with Twana here, she wouldn't like it, and he had already made him mate unhappy as was.
Zuberi looked to his Twana when she was called towards the leopard, he whimpered slightly looking at her, he didn't want her to move closer to him, he didn't want what the leopard said to be true... Twana was his, they loved each other.
"Twana please" he said softly he knew that it was loud enough for her to here, but he wasn't sure if the leopard would hear. The dog looked helplessly between his mate and the who claimed to love her.

[Woo! Replies at 4:30 am. Pardon my spelling, grammar and any other issues.]
Twana was tongue tied, had Aadi just attacked her mate, had he just tried to end something with violence, that wasn't the Aadi she knew, the sweet, caring, selfless Aadi. She growled lightly. Then looked to her mate, she was beginning to get a temper. Zuberi was full grown, he shoudl know better and Aadi, he was almost full grown.
"Why do you two fight. Aadi this is Zuberi, Zuberi this is Aadi." She said, her introductions were half-assed and she barely felt like speaking anymore to teh two of them. She did have a litter of 8 waiting for her when she returned and if any of them awoke to her and Zube gone, they'd be toast. The pups were not a quiet lot at all. twana suffered headaches quite often.
"Aadi.." She started, ignoring Zuberi's plea. She did what she wanted, and she wanted her family. Loved her family, whether they were blood related or not. She was a 'Mother' now. "I have a family now. i love you, my heart is torn, but Zuberi is what i need, what I love most." She felt tears well up in her eye's. "You are my best friend, we shared teh greatest times together. I hope your heart hasn't lead you back here to get me." She says softly. Her ears were back hard against her skull and cheeks wet.
"I love my family, if we're just going to talk, we can talk here. With my mate present, anything you will know he will know now or already knows or will know." She said with all confidence, she could see a secret, hidden, flash in his eyes. "What are you keeping from me Aadi..?" She asked, her voice steady and strong though her appearance was weak and needing attention.

Almost baffled.. She wanted to talk in front of her ... mate! He was first..! His heart ached a moment as he casted his head aside.
"A family.. that you have to take care of.. when they aren't even yours!" He shook his head. "That's what I came here for. To talk to him.." He looked at Twana.. a moment before bowing his head. "But my anger.. it hurts to see you have.. grown up." His ears went to the sides of his head. "To you~ her mate.. YOU DON"T DESERVE HER!" He growled.. in a threat. "But she picked you...Just the thought of her in this kind of relationship makes me sick! I would NEVER do that to her!" He was yelling.. and he couldn't control his temper.. his NEW foudned temper that he NEVER had before. Never had he ever gotten mad in his life.. he was always the calm child and the child that seemed to be kind to everyone.
His butterfly seemed to glide ~ down to Twana.. and sat on her head.. Exposing its wings as it looked on.. Also never seeing Aadi this mad..
"I came here to make sure your ok Twana..and my secret..." Slowly he started to ease his heart down even just as much as looking at her.. and this made him thump in a sitting position. His ears up as he looked to her almost in a plea ... "To finally let go. But to do that I have to MAKE sure your ok.. but to hear your in such a position..in a mess. Like old times.. I just wanted to save you..and my.. heart did lead me back.." He tried so hard to hold back tears.. "To see if you were ok...sadly I can't even say goodbye... you won't even come to me..." His head slumped down as his body felt just sore from being angry for so long.. and holding his rage on the manner and to come her to just see them.. No more damsel in distress.. She didn't want him around anymore? "I can't love anyone until you give me my heart back.." 'Ama...' "But I don't want it until your safe!... until your ok.." He was still so childish.. verses the probably older wilddog.. he was around the same age as Twana.. "Until you don't.....want it anymore." He straightened himself up and extended his body.. A tail flickering occasionally now. His face looking sad but his heart was being torn apart so many ways.. He needed it all back.. and all back to give it to .... He wasn't completely sure what he felt for Ama.. but he knew that everytime he did come to her lands.. he felt the willingness to see her. Eagerer to smile at her and talk with her. Ama said she'd wait for him.. but he had to let go of the past~ and this was the only way to do it. Head first.

Zuberi kept his head down while the two talked, he felt pretty ashamed about the fight he had picked with the leopard. He was very touched by what Twana said about him and their family that they had together, it was true that they weren't biologically Twana's but they were a family together.
"I am sorry" he said, he still wasn't overly happy that this other creature seemed to have a bond with his Twana, but her love belonged to him and that was enough for Zuberi. He bowed back allowing some room for the two to talk, he wasn't going to leave Twana totally but he trusted her.
His mind started to wonder about the pups who were back at the den, he should probably move back towards them, but he wanted to take Twana with him. If the pups woke they would know to go to one of his siblings, they would care for them until their parents return.

Twana hated yelling, hated being yelled in her direction and despised fighting. Aadi was grasping at all those things, like he'd gone mad. He wasn't like this, what had happened? She understood the butterflies want to get away from the angry Aadi. She had begun to cry just a little bit more than.
She stopped listening a little bit after his final statements. Zuberi was ignored, Aadi's posture was ignored, Twana was in her mind deciding how to go about this and moments later finally spoke. "Then scram." She said, teeth clenched and showing, ears back and eye's narrowed. Her tail had dropped and body now screamed 'get away'. "I am fine you silly animal!" She called aggressively. The yelling was killing her, but Aadi needed a finish. "Go love whomever you want. I don't need you at all." She growled, outwardly she was angry as hell, inwardly she in a fit of hysterics. She hoped silently that Zube could take the pups for some of the day, she'd need a moment after this.
"Don't even dare to breath my name, think of me, ever again. Cause I won't be thinking of you." Her voice cut off on a higher note. She was furious with Aadi, furious with her mate and most of all with herself. She had just screamed at one of the most special people in her life, but he needed to move on, and she knew being nice sometimes never got the point to anyone. So she tried to show her rage in small portion sizes.
With a final growl she turned tail and bolted. Her head was in the clouds now, tears ambushing her eye's left right and center, she was headed to the water. Where and her Zube had first hung out together. It was her safe place.
