There was only one person in the underground gym today, and that was a young and very frustrated trainer. He had two of his Pokemon out, a Banette and a Beldum, but was really only focusing on the latter. It was the source of his frustration, and why he was really tempted to call it quits for today.
"No! Don't go after those balls!" Leonard shouted as the Beldum dived towards some large rubber spheres. "Hit the target already! If you listened to me ten minutes ago, we could be done by now...!"
His Banette was out of her Pokeball mainly to assist in training the newcomer, but she was enjoying her trainer's rage so much that she refused to do anything other than laughing at them both. In the meanwhile, the Beldum got bored of the balls and starting whirling around some fancy machinery, emitting a high pitched humming noise.
"Aaaargh! Why do I have so much trouble with my Pokemon?!" Leonard hissed between his teeth.

they door oened to reveil another grunt who was fallowed by a green tindged gastly. "I told you to leave my room alone! if you ned to run off energy so much do it in the training area, not with my sock drawer." he growled in some annoyance. "I sware, one of these days I'm gonna uses you as a basket ball." He walked in and then noticed the other rocket. He flushed a bit, almost emberressed but his sudden out burst. He had been expecting more people in here, as it was th coolest part of HQ this time of day, the other reason for him hiding out down here.
His his gasly on the other hand spotted the Banette, and flew strait over, staring directly at her, flushing just a bit.

Leonard forgot about yelling at his Beldum when the other grunt came in. Hearing him talk to his Gastly with some annoyance made him feel slightly better. It looks like he wasn't the only one with training issues.
"Aw crap, Omega!" He hoped that calling the Beldum by its nickname would dissaude it from charging at the other trainer. But no, it flew at the grunt with amazing speed, only to brake to a stop at the last moment and started to fly around his head, humming even louder.
"I'm..." Should Leonard say he was sorry? It'd just make him look pathetic.
What did this Gastly think he was doing? Seance glowered at him, before turning her attention back to her trainer and the Beldum. They were more amusing, that's for sure.

Agent panther had flinched moving from where the Beldum woud have colided with him, and then relaxed a little as it flew about his head, in some strange Manner. His hand had moved revlexily to his belt where his older ghost type hung. His eyes tracked the strange floating pokemon for a few more moments before he looked to the trainer.
"For a second there I thought it was going to attack me." He said casually, as if it was an everyday occurance.
Shadow frowned a bit, she was ignoring him. The Beldum held no intrest for the ghost, as he knew that his owner would doge and, he had done the same thing many times.
He floated closter to the Banette and decided to lick her.

"Ha! I don't think it's going to attack anything at this rate." Leonard let out a forced laugh. "I've been trying to get it to attack one of those dummies there, but all it wants to do it fly around anything interesting. Like your head, I guess."
Omega got so dizzy from spinning around the newcomer that it hovered in place for a moment, making a tired chirp.
"Oh come on! Now you're too tired to do anything?" Leonard walked over and grabbed the Beldum by one of its claws. "That is your fault, not mine!"
Seance was horrified and disgusted when the Gastly licked her. How dare he?! In return, she threw the strongest Shadow Claw she could muster at him.

"It expended all of it's energy, goofing off. Don't let it get out off doing it's attack." He chuckled at the pokemon.
The shadow Claw hit dead on and sent the gasly into a wall knocking it out cold. It rolled a bit to the side eyes swirling.
The thunk against the wall caught Panther's attention. He glanced around for shadow and spotted him against the wall, his gasses slowly disaparing around him. Alarmed he ran over to the gasly, checking him over. "What happened?" he pulled out a potion for him.

The sound of the other trainer's Gastly also caught his attention. (Who knew that they made noise when they slammed into a wall like that?) Leonard turned away from Omega for a moment to see the unusually colored Pokemon looking like he'd been struck by...
"Well, looks like he pissed off Seance somehow. Which isn't hard, trust me." He glared at the Banette hovering above the seen. She just gave him a cold, hard stare back, not revealing anything.
"Is he alright?" Leonard wasn't really asking out of the concern for the Pokemon. He just felt bad that it got hurt because he couldn't control his Pokemon... First Omega, now Seance.

"Oh." he glanced at the dark pokemon, craddling his gasly against him, as it were a small child or some other equally cute thing. "I can't say I'm suprised either, he gets under Shade's skin as well, but Shade generally just uses hypnosis on him." he looked down and sighed, returning him to his pokeball. "I'll get him to the healing station later, he'll be ok." He seemed less concerned now that he knew that it was the other pokemon, and that he had deserved it.

Leonard sighed with relief upon hearing that the Gastly was going to be ok. And it wasn't an entirely unprovoked attack either. Still, he would've liked to know what actually happened... He pulled out Seance's Pokeball to return her. He was done with training for today.
After recalling the Banette, he grabbed Omega's Pokeball... and didn't see any sign of the floating hunk of metal anywhere. There was no sign of the telltale hum either.
"You didn't by any chance leave the door open when you came in here, did you?" Leonard asked the other Rocket with increasing worry.

Panther glanced at the open door. "Yeah, I did." He frowned a bit. No pokemon he had ever known of would leave the room and vanish so quickly. He glanced around and did not see the Beldum. This seemed like trouble.

Leonard swore under his breath. Nothing was going right at all. Well, he better find that damn Beldum before it breaks something and he gets blamed for it.
"At least you can have the gym all to yourself now." He told the other person. He didn't mean to sound so bitter but it just came out that way.
Pulling out a magnet from his pocket, he rushed out the door and starting looking for any signs of the Beldum.

He didn't want the gym, his pokemon was knocked out. he had best take it to the pokemoncenter. but that grunt's beldum was gone. He frowned and opened up his other pokeball. "Shade, I want you to look for that grunt's Beldom."
Shade nodded and floated after the other trainer.
Panther nodded relived. He knew Shade would return to his room after, Shade was trustworthy after all. He headed for the pokecenter.

Leonard was nearing the machine rooms (he knew that the Beldum was really interested in fancy metawork) when he felt a presence behind him. Was it another Rocket to laugh at his failures? Nope. It was a Gengar. What was it doing here? He had the unpleasant suspicion that it belonged to that trainer he met in the gym and scoffed.
"I didn't ask for his help." He turned his attention to a door. "If I can't track down and control my own Pokemon, then how am I still here...?"
Actually, he didn't want to answer that question. After checking to see that no one else besides the Gengar was around, he opened the door and was greeted by the roar of machines. And he left it open, as he wasn't rejecting the Pokemon's help either.

Shade smiled more and floated after. Wether the grunt asked or not was beyond him caring he only listened to one person.
He eyed the multiple machines and then floated through them, looking for the steal pokemon. He would remember these later. he glanced behind the michens. "Gengar?"

He ignored the Gengar's question (if it was one) and instead looked around for Omega. Out of the loud mechanical grinding and whirring, he could hear a high pitched hum from somewhere in this room. No doubt the Beldum was around, but with all the movement, it was hard to actually find him...
There! Hovering above him, near the swaying lights, was his runaway Pokemon. Leonard again made sure no one else was watching, and waved the magnet above his head.
"You obnoxious brat, get over here!"
Omega was just examining the light bulbs when... Omg was that a magnet? Down there with his trainer? Ignoring the insult that he gave along with the magnet, the iron ball Pokemon sped towards it with astonishing speed. Magnetmagnetmagnet...
Instead of pulling up and hovering around his head though, Omega actually rammed into Leonard. The human was launched backwards, into a luckily dormant machine, and fell into a motionless slump.
What happened? It didn't glomp him too hard, did it? The Beldum made a questioning whir and floated over to the unconscious trainer to pick up the magnet. Yay!
