 Hi, and welcome to the guild!  This is a thread for you to say a couple words in introduction and familiarize yourselves with our guild. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of our lovely moderators, they'd be more than happy to help you.

Guild-Wide Rules 1. Respect the Gaia Online Terms of Service and follow the Rules & Guidelines at all times. Failure to do so may result in the modification/deletion of the violating posts, or a ban for extreme offenses.
2. Don't poop in the corner. Please use the toilets provided.
3. We aren't strict about staying on topic; feel free to say what you want where you want when you want.
4. Try to remain courteous to other users at all times. We want to maintain a friendly environment. If there is a user you just plain can't get along with, simply use the Ignore function as opposed to starting drama.
Rule 4a: If you engage in any sort of argument with another member, take it to PMs first. Don't derail threads with personal issues. (Rule created by Allegro 10/15/10)
5. Seriously guys, stop pooping in the damn corner. If I catch you, I am gonna make you clean it up with your own toothbrush.

Know your Subforums Our main forum is mostly for announcements and guild-wide events, so you'll want to check out our subforums, where most of our goings-on go on. Keep in mind we do not strictly enforce staying on topic in any subforum (we are even lenient about chatting in Mafia threads razz ), but we would like all threads to at least start off relevant to the subforum they are in.
The S&GD is where all of our Mafia games take place. Signup threads, graveyards, peanut galleries, and theme-relevant RPs go in here.
Tips, Tricks, & Guides is a great place to start if you don't know much about Mafia or want to familiarize yourself with one of our themes. We are constantly seeking writers to better this section and fill it with guides, not just to Mafia, but to Gaia. smile Gold rewards will be awarded for guides we find useful enough to sticky, so if you have some helpful info, get it out there!
The Rec Room is a general hangout subforum. Think of it as a mini Chatterbox. You can post anything you feel like here, Mafia-related or not. It's a great place to get to know each other.
R&D is now open to everyone! This is where all the magic begins, where themes become Mafias. It used to be a moderators-only process, but we have decided that we want to hear everyone's ideas. smile
We keep completed games in the Archives. You can study behavioral patterns or search for rule or role clarifications in these threads.
The Arts & Crafts subforum is exactly what it sounds like. It's a place to share your creations. Got a sketch you need critiqued? A poem you'd like to share? A paper crane you want to show off? A recipe that turned out great? Post it here! Please note, the Arts & Crafts subforum is nonprofit-only. If you want to sell your creations, keep reading; we have a subforum for that.
A new addition, the Contests & Charities forum, is where you can go to win gold or give it away. biggrin If you need a dream avi Tektek'd or want to try your luck at the dice game, this is the subforum for you.
The Goods & Services Shops is where you can go to buy or sell Gaia Online items. You can also set up any kind of shop here, from avi art to post formatting to pixel dolls.

Additional Notes If you feel another user is acting aggressively towards you, just add them to your ignore list. If you feel they are acting aggressively towards everyone, please voice a complaint with a moderator. It takes two opposing forces to cause friction; please don't be one of them.
