zOMG! Chatterbox
One Year Anniversary March 9th, 2009. Another fun, casual thread in the zOMG! forum had been moved to the Chatterbox. People were annoyed. Someone suggested that there should be a more casual place for zOMGers to hang out - like a guild or a forum. And so we all stood around for a bit. I decided to take out 20k and throw it at a new guild. I invited as many zOMGers as I could think of from the top of my head and asked them to invite as many zOMGers as they could think of. In the first day, there were 100 members and 1000 posts. And the zOMG! Chatterbox was born.
The purpose of this guild was to create a haven for all zOMGers. That is what it is today. It's for people to hang out with other players - friends you crew with, people you randomly talk to over shout, or strangers you pass by while running across Gold Beach to the whirlpool. It's kind of like zOMG, but in forum-form. When you're sitting in the robofish cave, waiting for one of your crewmates to run down from Gold Beach, what you do you talk about? Everything under the sun. Rings, Marshall, home life, and school work. It's how you to get to know people. It's how you make frieneds. And it's exactly what we do here.
Whether we're GCDers or ATers or exchange whores, the common denominator between us is zOMG! While some people don't know who Ivan is and others couldn't tell you the difference between LMP and AMP, we all come together to facepalm over someone asking "HOW DO I UNSPELLPOUND MY RINGZ?" We unite as we headdesk upon further nerfing of our favorite rings. And as one, we run away (or toward) Marshall with his open arms. Do you know what you're seeing here? An awesome group of people.

Events Okay, so what is a proper z!CB event without activities? This thread, the one that you're currently on, is very important. All the events have already been set up, but if you cannot access them, that means they aren't available to you yet. So, you need to check back here often (or, well, look on the first page of the forum) to see when a new event is up.
Anniversary Party
Date: Friday, March 5th at 8PM EST
Okay, if you know ANYTHING about the zOMG! Chatterbox, then you know we love to party! Come to one of the parties if you have the chance to hang out, chat, and win some prizes!

Scavenger Hunt
Date: Starts Saturday, March 6th
You will be given a list of clues of places or things that can be found all throughout the world of zOMG. You must take screenies of yourself within close proximity to whatever it is the clues are hinting at. The first person to send all the correct answers (screenies) to the z!CB mule account will win a pretty sum of 50,000 gold. The event ends when the winner is chosen.

Secks Shae's Riddlebox Challenge
Date: Friday, March 5th to Tuesday, March 9th
z!CB moderator Secks Shae will be hosting another one of her famous riddlebox challenges! Every day, for several days, Shae will be posting a variety of riddles for you to take a crack out. There will be prizes given out every day, so if you fail one day, you'll have plenty more chances to try. Go forth and give your brain a workout!

Date: Friday, March 5th to Monday, March 8th
It's that time of the year again where I feel the urge to update the pictures on the front page. Find pictures of yourself doing something epic, awesome, weird, or funny in zOMG! I (Cleo) will choose the best six entries to be put on the front page and the winners will each receive 10,000 gold.

Date: Tuesday, March 9th
Throughout the day of the z!CB anniversary, keep your eyes peeled for CleoSombra posting in gold. If you see her (me) post in this color and you are the first person to post directly after her (me), you will receive 10,000 gold - note: YOU must send me the trade. This will happen several times throughout the day and evening (notice how I said both), so keep your eyes peeled.
