Manda
Naida had been in the pride's lands for a few days now - having stuck to Chincha like something of a burr. Though her family was annoying, they were really the only other lions she'd ever known. So suddenly being in a place full of strangers was ... well, strange. Just the day before, the two of them had gone looking for a larger den - as the one Chincha had currently wasn't really big enough. They had found one fairly quickly, which Naida was glad of. She didn't much like doing work, and wandering around searching for things counted, in her mind, as work. Princesses shouldn't have to do such things! Still, she hadn't complained too much (just a bit, really!) since it was something necessary. This morning, she'd decided to be lazy and sleep in a bit, not even moving at first when Chincha stirred and got up to stretch.

Life had been nice these past few days. After being reunited with Naida, something had risen inside him. She was older now, more beautiful than ever. He had never known he could feel such love for any female.. The only one he had ever been close to or involved in his life had been his mother. But Naida was different.. He could be her King, and he could enjoy it.

His baby blues opened, blinking a little as the suns rays shone brightly outside the dens entrance. He was shadowed in darkness, but that made the sunshine brighter.

He lifted his body from the earth, his eyes turning to look at his mate that slept away on the stone floor. He debated leaving her there, letting her sleep. But there was so much to do.

"Princess." He called, leaning in to nuzzle her cheek.

Manda
Naida purred sleepily at his nuzzling, cracking an eye open just a little. "Mmmn?" she hummed in a questioning sort of tone. It felt so nice in here, all curled up and warm. It was probably going to take something really interesting to rouse her today...

Buffy_the_Bloody
"Aw Come on, Sweetness. We have things to do today, you and I." He chuckled, using her paw to nudge her gently and he backed away, walking to the entrance of the cave, and looking out into the mists. It did shade the sunshine, and it let him relax, and his eyes adjusted easier to the day.

"We have some exploring to do, up up up." He called.

Manda
At that, Naida opened her eyes a bit wider, and turned to lay on her side so she could peer at him. She liked the way that the misty light outside picked out his large, strong silhoutte. Really, her Prince was amazing... "Exploooring?" she half-drawled, slowly pushing herself up with a yawn. "What kind of exploring?

Buffy_the_Bloody
He was amused by her reluctance to get up. He too, knew the feeling of a good sleep. It was hard to get up each day when you could sleep it away! But he would have to share that with her another day, because today.. He had a mission.

"Yes, exploring. I want to show you some of my favorite places in the lands."
He looked back at her, walking closer to her, and pawing at her tail. She looked amazing when she moved.. It gave him shivers, this love he had for her.

"Ive got it all planned out. Ya just gotta trust me."

Manda
Naida twitched her tail out of his reach then, playfully. "Oh fine... I guess I can do that," she replied, stretching a little bit. Honestly, it gave -her- shivers, to know that ... he was hers. And she was his. And now, he wanted to share things with her ... like his favorite places.

Shaking her head a bit to clear away the last of the sleepies, she padded over to bump his shoulder with her nose. "All right... lead on, my Prince."

Buffy_the_Bloody
His face showed how excited he was, and he gave her a kind smile, before bounding to the entrance of the cave one more. Though he was able to reach it within two strides of his long legs.

He wondered where he would take her first.. He knew of a grove, where the trees grew in odd shape. Water surrounded the trees, but the water was usually rather warm, it never seemed to get cold.. But the suns rays could peek in from the trees, only in that spot, and warm the water underneath it. It was really a sight to behold, and he had found it.

"You're going to love it. I bet you its even better than sleep." He mused.

Manda
Naida laughed softly at that, and followed Chincha to the entrance, peering out into the early morning mists. "We'll see about that, I guess..." came her reply, tone teasing. She was fairly sure that anything she did with her Prince would be more interesting than sleeping.

Buffy_the_Bloody
He led her through the misty trees, and it was quite beautiful.. He loved the way the mist seemed to circle around Naida, and emphasize her loveliness. Oh he was smitten, that was true.

When the trees started bending towards the earth, he knew he was close. Soon some would be fallen, others bent as if some great wind had deformed them. Though he found beauty in such a thing..

The smell of water was in the air, and he turned to look at her with a smile.
"Watch your step, eventually the land goes away, and the water takes over."

Manda
Naida had been looking around them as they walked, fascinated by the shapes of the trees and the way the mist swirled around everything. She rather liked the way these lands smelled as well - all of wet, and life. "Is the water dirty...?" she asked suddenly, balking a little bit. If it was -really- important to him, she would go into dirty water, but she didn't much like the thought...

Buffy_the_Bloody
He chuckled, and shook his head, the white of his mane hitting his cheeks.
"No silly. Its clear water, and its all really.. pure feeling. You wont get dirty, I promise."

He had noted that the water collected on stone, it didn't collect over water.. It was as if someone had 'built' their own secret watering hole, that cut off its own little stream.

Manda
"Oh ... all right then," Naida replied, with a quick smile. Looking down, she saw those stones and stared at them for a moment or two, fascinated by the reflections of light in the water. "It's really pretty..." she murmured, stepping out carefully into the water.

Buffy_the_Bloody
Once she stepped into the water, the sunshine beamed across her, though the mist muted its rays, the warmth still seeped through. He was sure that she had never looked so much like an angel, like this moment right now.

"Its never going to be as pretty as you.." He replied, following her into the water, and nuzzling her with affection.

"Its like a piece of heaven."

Manda
Naida purred at that, and glanced back at the male - and froze, instantly struck by the beauty of the sun's rays hitting him as well. "You're a piece of heaven," she half-breathed, purring.

Buffy_the_Bloody
He smiled, nosing her gently with his nose before pulling back and hopping out of the water. He wanted to take her to the den, at least until nightfall.. His fireflies didn't come out until the moon was high in the sky.

"Would you like to travel back home, and then tonight I shall show you another of my favorite places? It has a secret, and it only happens at night!"
He looked at her excitedly.

Manda
The female tilted her head at that. Back home already..? Not that she'd mind lazing about in the den for the rest of the day, but then why get up so early in the first place! Oh well. It was nice to think of 'home' as somewhere without her bothersome siblings... very nice, indeed. "All right..." she replied with a little smile. "Why not."

Buffy_the_Bloody
He wanted her to dry off before they went on any more adventures. He didnt want her to get mud in her pretty fur, and he knew she would if she went and they traveled more while they were both wet.

"Its to keep you clean lovely. We can come back out later. Maybe we can take an midmorning nap, and then head out again."
He nuzzled her, and began to move forward, turning to look at her and give her a gentle smile.

Manda
Oh... well that was really sweet of him! Naida purred at that, and bounced a little. Her mate was so thoughtful, really! "Actually, that sounds wonderful~" she said, nuzzling him back. Then she headed back in the direction of the den, quickly. A nap sounded good...

Buffy_the_Bloody
He knew that would change her mind about going home. He walked through the mists, and let his pace be slow so she could catch up and walk beside him. Nothing was more pleasant than walking with his mate, to the home they had found together.

"Curling up to you sounds the best." He nodded, and couldn't help the feelings he was having for her.. The same feelings he had when he first met her.. Now, his next step was cubs, and eventually.. He would be ready for those as well.

Manda
Naida nodded eagerly at that, picking up her own pace a little to join him. Soon enough... they were back at their den, and curled up together. It was warm, and cozy... and a part of her still couldn't believe that she'd actually found her Prince. That it was all really happening. Smiling at the thought, Naida was soon asleep ... resting safely beside her mate, and looking forward to seeing the other things he had to show her later on.
