Nessiaing
Peca had woken earlies, she was amazed at how little sleep she could operate on now days, the pups kept her going most of the time, and then there was of course her duties as a memeber of the packs council. She rose out of there den and began to move towards the edge of the lake, reading her self for a nice cool dip.
The hyena's mind was racing with all the things that she would have to get done today, feeding the pups, bathing them all, making sure that they stayed out of trouble. It was amazing how much time and energy they could take, yet Peca was standing on the lakes edge thinking that perhaps she would like to have more, ones that were biologically hers not that she would love them any differently.
Seaki
Tiki had watched as his mother left the den for the early morning. He would always wake as she was leaving. Ban was curled against his side, as they had fallen asleep together that night. He had taken a personal interest on the sweet girl's well being. She was way to innocent, but he wished to keep it that way.
With a sigh, he nudged his tan sister a little, and shiften from under her. She only stirred a little before settling back into a restful sleep. Tiki found himself smiling at all of his siblings.
With a small yawn, he made his way from the den and moved to train his body and mind. After all, he would need his body and mind for everything.
With a sideways glance, he spotted his mother, and with a quick decision, he made his way to the lakes edge where she was readying herself fpr a swim.
"Morning, Mother," he said with a low, almost stoic voice.
Nessiaing
Peca turned when she heard the greeting from her son, she smiled down at him. He was one of the cubs that looked most like his biological mother, but that changed nothing in Peca's heart. "Why good morning my little Tiki." she said in a gentle low voice.
Since the cubs had arrived she found herself changing it was amazing really how much becoming a mother could change one. "How are you today?" she asked him as she moved towards him and nuzzled him. She automatically went to cleaning the top of his head.
Seaki
Tiki looked down and let his mother continue with the cleaning. He gave a small sigh. "I'm alright, Mother. The night was a pleasant one," he answered with a soft voice. "Did you have a good night as well, Mother?" he questioned lightly. After all the day had only just begun.
He didn't know how his today was, after all.
Nessiaing
"My night was wonderful my dear, it often is when I have all you little pups in the den to keep me warm." she smiled, it was true that since she had brought the pups to the den that her and Xx'a had started sharing she slept well at night, though that was probably a result of how busy the kept her during the day.
"I am very glad to hear that you had a pleasant night my dear." she smiled "Do you have any plans for the day?" she knew that some of her pups liked to make plans for there days, and it was always interesting to hear what they thought was a good use of their time.
Seaki
The young hyena blinked up at his mother with a small yawn. "I'll probably run around the lake," He informed his mother. "Or explore," the c ub said nochalantly. He could probably go to the border - explore there. Perhaps take one of his older pack-mates with him.
He shook his head. "I don't really know yet, Mother. Do you have plans?" He asked in turn, a small amout of curiousity lacing his soft, whispery voice.
Nessiaing
Peca smiled lightly, oh to be a pup and have a free love, to do what you wishe. But then again that was part of being a pup, they did after all have to learn, and expoloring was the best way to do that. Not to mention the pack was a very safe place to do that. "That sounds like a great plan my son."
Peca sighed lightly her day was going to be much less fun then his, as a mother and a member of the council wasn't as if she had much time for fun, but she didn't really want her son to know that. "Today I think there is a few pack members I want to meet up with and talk to. Then of course you and you siblings always seem to have something in store for me." she said the last part lightly and gave the cub a little nudge.
Seaki
Tiki gave a small smile. "Alright," he nodded, shaking the long multicolored bangs out of his eyes in the process. "Do you know when you'll be back to play?" He asked, shyly, orange eyes downcast to the ground. He knew his mother was a busy woman, as well as her father. Both being high ranking officials in the pack.
He didn't wat to take from their work for something silly like play. There were a lot of other pups in the pack, after all. Baharia was quite the interesting character - wanting to be somethin he called a 'sailor.'
Nessiaing
Peca smiled, but it was a sad one. She realized that her pups most be suffering somewhat, their parents being so busy. Deciding that maybe today her pups should be first, above the other members of the pack, after all the pack was big on family how would it look if her family wasn't getting enough attention.
Peca got low to the ground, in a pounce like position, and gave a low rumbly back it was clearly a playful. She wasn't sure what her and her son would play but today could be his day.
Seaki
Tiki squeaked with the growl and giggled a girlish gufaw. Sshifting from his sitting position, he skittered forward, away from his mother in a puppish bounce.
She had time to play now, oh it was so exciting!
Nessiaing
Peca giggled a small girlish little side of her coming out. Peca wasn't that old, much younger then her mate in fact. Bounding about with all sorts of energy and freedom it was like she herself was a pup again. Thuogh she was now much large, and instead of playing with her brother she was playing with the pup she called son.
"What game do you want to play?" she asked as she bounced, "There's hide and seek, tag, eye spy?" it was a lot of different games they could play she was just naming off a few off the top of her head, she hoped that he would pick one that required more energy.
Seaki
The small pup thought for a moment. He loved running, so perhaps "Tag?" he asked, shifting slightly oput of his bouncing run, only to look up at his mother with curious eyes. Tag was always fun - perhaps just a quick game before she had to go.
He gave another giggle. "Not it," he called and bounced away.
Nessiaing
Peca felt herself giggle, her pups all seemed to quite enjoy the game of tag. As Tiki bounded away from her she got ready to run, she didn't want to stop the game to fast. Having let the pup get fair enough ahead Peca let out a bark and began to chase.
"I am going to catch you!" she told him as she chased, a few times she swung her paw and let the rush of air sweep in such a way that it made the pups fur move.
Seaki
"Nuh-uh!" Tiki called, pushing foward a little burst of speed whenever he felt his mother come too close. He didn't want to look back, for fear of tripping.
No such luck, though, stumbling a little, but not enough to fall. He caught his balance, but it was enough to slow him down quite a bit.
Nessiaing
Peca saw her son trip and she felt her stomach lurk, it was hard for her to see one of her own almost injure herself. But when she saw that he got back up and continue going she continued her chase.
The distance between the two of them had closed a bit, as Peca hadn't slowed down at all when she saw her babe trip as she want to be at his side if the need be to help and injuries. She got closer to him and she lept putting both paws out hoping to sweep her cub up into her arms.
