Today, they were hoping to meet up at a rather famous ruin that had once explored. Unfortunately they hadn't found much inside, but it was huge, so there's a chance they had missed a few things. Though, this was juts their rendezvous place, who knew where they'd end up going. Their minds were always jumping to what they would explore next, one day they could be on a sandy beach, the next day they could be in a desert.
There was no explanation for why Danae had wanted to put up with their insanity, probably because he wanted to be there encase they needed his help, but deep down Edel knew he was there for the adventure too. He'd been through too much lately, and was ready for some fun.

  The day was quite young as Selena made her way to the ruins. The sun was still low in the sky, illumination her path to her old friend. Selena had not seen Edel for quite some time since their last adventure. When they were young they were great friends, constantly on the search for new adventure and treasures. She had missed her friend. And this was quite excited to meet up with her once more! Suichii, Selena's mate, had been sweet enough to give her that day off from the foals, and to have a day to herself. But she still could not help but worry a bit, though she trusted Suichii would sort anything out. Being a mother had changed her. But not her love of adventure! The ruin had been the site of one of their more interesting adventures. Though nothing had been found, it still provided memories. With Edel Sel could open up and truly be herself, rather than the tough, sly mare that Team Rocket had made her into. Not that she disliked who she was, but there were few who brought out the adventurous, joking side of her.
She sped up her fast trot once the ruins came into view. They touched the horizon and made Selena smile.Gazing at the clear sky above, wondering of his place back home, in the sands of the desert Ceros sighed. He shook his head, making his stiff neck crack and causing his cloud mane to move the stars and moon within it. He continued to walk towards the bare horizon, having no true goal. These lands were so exotic and alien to him. But he did not have fear, much more curiosity for the abundant greenery and strange and different Soquili. However, even with the thrills of learning so much so quickly and being in this dream like place, his heart still longed to return home, to his herd.
He wondered if, and maybe just if he followed the horizon and moon far enough, if he could return to his old life. He shook his head once more at the silly thought, he had already began to accept that these lands would serve as home for him for awhile. He looked at the horizon dreamily, seeing a flaw in the perfect line. Something was there, it seemed like a structure or cave. His curiosity was instantly sparked, and he began to run towards it, flicking his lion tail.

Edel was obviously the first to spot Selena on the horizon, even though she knew Danae must have heard the mare coming before she saw her. He was such a modest character, and it's a wonder he ended out sane, unlike herself. Not that she was insane, just a little less settled in the mind area then him. She smiled happily however, and called out to her old friend. "Selena! There you are! Right on time as always, though I always seem to be just a bit early!" She waited for her friend to grow closer, but first Danae warned her of faster approaching hooves.
Danae's mother was to distracted by the sight of an old friend to catch the odd sound of the hooves approaching from a different direction. Though he couldn't see, he turned his head in the direction of the noise and alerted if mother with a soft flick of his tail. He wouldn't usually be too worried about something like this, but whoever was on their way was running at them, and in his experience he knew usually things that ran at you weren't your friends. The few times that this assumption was wrong, usually turned out to be soquili in need of his special gift. He wasn't too sure about anything this time. "What's you gut say mother?" He asked, turning his unseeing eyes toward her.
"What it always says....time for some fun!" She obviously wasn't in the least bit concerned about what was heading toward them. If whoever or whatever it was meant them harm, the three of them against it alone could certainly handle themselves.

Selena smiled seeing her friend. "It is great to see you once more Edel! It has been far too long!" Trotting down to her friend and the young stallion she bowed in greeting and smiled.
"How are you both?" Glancing to the stallion she continued, "I take it you must be Danae, Edel's son. Its a pleasure." She had heard rumors of Edel's pregnancy and birth to two fine offspring. Though when they had last met, they were both still young and completely inexperienced in love.
Thinking of this and seeing how tall and strong her son was made it seem that their time apart really had been just as long as it had felt. It was great to be back with her friend once more none the less.
Suddenly, her ears flicked and her senses picked up some movement coming closer. Noticing now that Danae had also picked it up she followed his blind gave to the horizon where a dark spot was slowly coming closer. She tensed and her ears flattened against her head as the other approached. She would be ready to protect her two friends if the other turned out to carry bloodlust.
Coming closer and closer to his destination on the horizon, he could make out its finer details. Some of the broken off walls, or pillars. Windows framed with ancient moss and vines. It had not been a cave at all, Ceros realized. But rather a set of ruins. Perhaps an ancient city or empire. Or just an abandoned castle. But he wanted to find out none the less.
Coming close to it, seeing it perfectly now as it lost its place from the horizon. Standing on a small hill, overlooking it, he noticed there were three others standing in the midst of the crumbling walls. He smiled and raised his head, then bowed, showing he had no intention of bringing them any harm.

A huge smile lit up Edel's face when Selena finally trotted up to them. It really had been far too long! They'd had so much fun when they were young, and now Edel had grown up foals that had their own adventures, and it was all just too...overwhelming! Had they really not seen each other for that long? Long enough for her to raise lovely foals? Wow. "It certainly has been too long." She nodded, and then they all looked at the purple stallion approaching them.
He didn't say a word when he approached, he just bowed gracefully to them, she hoped that meant he was kind, but some Soquili were masters at tricking others. "Hello there stranger~" He brought a whole new meaning to the word stranger, his mane looked like it was made of clouds, and was decorated with stars and a moon. "My name's Edel, this is my son, Danae. And this is my dearest friend, Selena." She nodded her head at each of them when she said their names. "Might we know yours?"
Danae was prepared to defend his mother and friend if need be, but as his mother spoke to the stranger, he assumed he wasn't harmless. His mother knew who she could and couldn't trust usually at first sight, she was excellent at reading others like and open book. At one point he'd had that talent as well. He nodded, when he heard himself introduced to the stranger, but otherwise kept quiet.

Selena knew just as well as Danae did that Edel's first impression of people was almost always correct, or near it. If she trusted this odd stranger enough to speak to him with such a friendly tone, Selena also trusted it. Her tensed muscles eased and looked from Danae to the stranger. Only now taking in his image. Her eyes widened when she did look at him. His hooves, horn, eyes, and even some of his mane seemed to glow! Not to mention that mane was made of clouds! Selena's mouth opened a bit in awe and surprise. Was she dreaming? She blinked and shook her head just in case. She closed her mouth and bowed at the stallion.
"My pleasure."
Ceros couldn't help but smile as he slwoly walked down towards the trio. They did not run, but rather seemed to accept him. Or atleast the winged mare did. The dark mare and the stallion that seemed related to the masked mare had been tensed. But with the words of the other female they had been put at ease.
"Its a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Monoceros." Coming near them, but not too near, he bowed low, bending a knee and smiled gently.
"I mean you all no harm, and my deep apologies for interrupting your gathering. I hope I have not intruded."

Edel studied him carefully, at least he apologized for intruding upon their reunion. He was definitely different then anyone she'd ever met before, and she'd met some really odd Soquili in her days, including Pyre with her mane of fire. But he was different from them all, with his mane of clouds and the glowing moon. He certainly seemed like her type of friend. "No worries! We had just gotten started ourselves! I haven't seen Selena here in so long, we decided to have one more grand ole' adventure before settling down any more." She smiled, and added, "I hate to be so blunt, but I've never met anyone like you before." She was curious now, but didn't want to push him for any personal stories.
Danae listened to them chat, and recognized by his mother's tone that this stranger must be oddly interesting. He wished, not for the first time, that he could see the wonders that his mother saw, sure he had a few adventures when he was younger, but those would be forgotten at some point. "Might you join us Monoceros?" It might be neat to have someone else join them, then Danae wouldn't feel like too much of a random tag along.

Selena kept her clear, sharp blue eyes on the stranger. Her nature could not help but still be a little skeptical about him. But she tried her best to relax herself, even for someone like herself, who came from the bloody and sketchy Team Rocket, if her friend Edel had passed him, it was good enough for her. She smiled gently in his direction, sharing the curiosity Edel, and most likely Danae, all felt towards the stallion's appearance.
Ceros smiled at them all./ He saw the blind folds the two dark blue Soquili wore. He wondered if either were truly blind and about the story behind them. But his manners controlled him not to ask curiously like a foal. "Thank you for the warm welcome, and do not worry yourself. Even in my short time in these odd lands, every Soquili I have met has asked me about my appearance. it seems I am the real alien here." He chuckled. "I actually come from a large, nomadic herd deep in the Desert of Illusions. I had lost my way and ended up here, in these green lands. To me you three are the very different ones." He eyes Selena's hat and scarf now. They intrigued him, just like the ones two-leggers wore!
"If I am not a burden, I would love to join along with your adventures!" He smiled and his eyes lit up with childish excitement.
