It had been a long few days. Starlet had gone home, expecting a 'happy family'. But all she found were the shattered pieces of it. It was like she wasn't able to understand this. Was raised without her father, and one day is told by her long lost (well not so lost) sister, that her dad was coming back to be with their mother. He had been gone looking for a member of his herd. It was beyond this mare why he had to do it. She left for her trip, and came home to find that he left again. And this time he wasn't coming back. Her sister was gone too.
Forte had regained her state of mind, but she too didn't really understand. He was there, they were happy, but he just couldn't commit, and was just gone... Starlet tried to figure it out. She went onto a rampage to his herd's teepee, finding only her grandparents. Who didn't even know what happened. And in a fit of anger Starlet renounced them as her family.
It was to much for the little mare, all the anger that she lost when she went on her trip with Mecho flooded back into her. She was done. All she needed in life was her mother, and her two friends Mecho and Req. Speaking of Req, she was on her way to see him.
Ther sun had starting to set, and she went to check the usual places. Sometimes, she couldn't even find him. She started to wonder where he would go off too. But he never openly to her himself, and she wasn't to sure yet if it was something she could ask. She took in some deep breaths, trying to clear her mind. When she was with Req, nothing else really seemed to matter in the world. And she was in need of a vacation.

Requiem had since found himself busy with his growing herd, and a new friend he had found on one of his 'tasks'. With new little ones running around the camp as well as learning more about life in general, or maybe even just feelings and thoughts of someone who really seemed to live life, he was starting to have a different view on things.
He hadnt gone out in days, nor had he heard the 'call', and honestly, he didnt even think about it. It was hard to tell if maybe he just wasnt needed, or if his new found 'life' was responsible for some sense of freedom.
He would still be at his camp, not quite awake yet, but Pandora and Kaim had already started the fire that lit their 'home' at night. It would be one of the few bright places at the forests edge. It seemed to be the most central place to where everyone wandered. Most of the others were still sleeping as well.

Starlet searched, time was slowly moving by. But her friend seemed to be no where in sight. And she was about to give up, and go home, when out of the corner of her eyes she saw some light. She turned her head to look over at the edge of the forest. She couldn't remember ever seeing anything there before. Not that she ever looked closely. But never a fire. She started to grow curious as to what was inhabiting that area.
Her short legs took direction, and she walked toward it. Her pink eyes watching, trying to see anything. A couple of glimpses here and there, allowed her to see that it was horses, and not two leggers. In her rather easily distracted manner, she started to forget about everything that happened. She started to feel confident about going toward the flames. They were still bright on the ever lightening sky.
Within minutes she was close enough to see the inhabitants. Most where still sleeping, and then saw Req. Her heart seemed to skip a beat, and in her true fashion, she thought maybe she shouldn't have been there. She never knew he had a herd, or anything similar. What a selfish thought, he had a something, a life, friends, outside of her. Something she never thought of before.

It would be Chen that would see Star. The Usdia male was blended almost perfectly with the foliage and the darkness. He was just on the outskirts of the camp, almost like he felt need to keep watch. Asleep by his side was his rabbit companion. His voice was soft as he yawned 'Allo,' he offered, his small fangs showing easily as he looked out from under his hat. 'Were you looking for someone in particular or just lost?'

Starlet looked around for the source of the voice, before her eyes landed on the Usdia male. She tilted her head lightly and then looked back at Req. Maybe she should have been there... The last thing she needed was for Req to be upset with her. She didn't ask permission to come there, and she could have been seeing something she wasn't suppose too.
Glancing back to the usdia male, she half heartily smiled. "Guess I'm just lost... I must have turned myself around..." Now that she had the time to think about it; she probably shouldn't have been laying all her troubles on Req. He was the first horse she wanted to talk too, and share things with. And she always did so openly, but maybe that was inappropriate? She didn't want to push him away with negative things. She took in a breath and released it. She would handle her family problem on her own.
"I guess I should back track, and see if I can find where I got turned around." She turned around looking out at the field. She wondered why she was suddenly second guessing everything she knew, but it was almost to much for the tiny mare to understand.

By now, Requiem started to stir a bit, yawning wide in the background in the fire-lit camp. Chen just blinked at her, heat tilting to the side a bit as his hat fell over his eyes a brief moment. His muzzle scrunched up a bit and he shook his head as he got up, albeit a little wobbly from drinking a bit. 'Nonsense!' he insisted as he moved to get behind her a bit, nosing her to head to the camp. 'Its getting dark and the night is no time for a lady to be out wandering when she is lost!'
The semmingly buzzed Usdia stallion led her into the camp a bit, where the others were finally starting to wake up as well, Requiem wouldnt see either of them right off as he was further back, and they both had darker colors about them.

"But.. I..." She looked over at him and sighed. This wasn't good at all. She wanted to leave, but... She wasn't a rude mare. Getting nosed and lead into the camp, Starlet shied away, and fell silent. She could handle herself perfectly well at night. But it seemed this usdia had been impaired in some manner.
She looked around at the other horses starting to wake, causing her to get nervous. She would probably cause problems by being there. She slunk behind the other usdia, trying to hide.

Chen snorted at her shyness and just nosed her further into the camp before leaving her there for all to see by the fire. He wasnt one for being shy and to him it wasnt like there was any reason for her not to be there. He nodded a bit, looking her over before wibbling off a bit to some other random part of the camp, disappearing in the dark.
By now, Requiem had noticed the movement in the center of the camp, and behind Chen he saw Star. He had to blink a bit to make sure it was her, but there was no mistaking those bright pink stars. He was quiet and still for a long while, not really thinking anything before he decided that the new stallion must have made friends with her and brought her here, or maybe they were mates now.

Starlet stood there, her heart beat was racing, and she looked at the fire. She had never felt like this before, so vulnerable and on the spot. Staring intently at the fire, the stallion had walked away and left her there. She didn't want to look up and see everyone staring at her. It was probably one of the first times in her left that she felt this shy...
Oh... She could feel Req's eyes. It had only been a day or so since they last saw each other. But she was really over thinking this, and it was starting to feel like years. She shakily glanced over at him, and froze, before looking quickly away.
"R-r-re--q" She stuttered out.

Req blinked at her a bit, seeing how nervous she was and his brows knotted together a bit. He stood and shook off some random foliage before going to her, maybe she was wounded and he started to get concerned at how she was acting. When he was close enough one of his wings moved down to shelter her a bit, folding over her and his head moved down closer to hers, his voice was smooth but concerned.
'Star, are you okay?' he asked quietly as to not draw attention, not that there was any drawn anyway, the herd was normally pretty relaxed in their own camp. 'Are you hurt?'

It was like a wave of security washing over her as Req drew closer. He wasn't mad at her for being there. And she was certain he would have been. For being one of her only friends, she didn't know much about the stallion. she watched as the larger stallion lowered his head closer to hers, and she nodded to him.
"I'm fine... I'm not hurt in any manner." The Usdia that had urged her to come in, had vanished from her sight. "Just nervous... I didn't know if I would be welcomed here." She let her eyes fall down, hoping he understood she meant well, and didn't want to upset him.

He watched her quietly for a long moment, his ears moving a bit to the tiniest of sounds she made. He seemed a bit concerned that she would even think that and he shifted so his wing wasnt fully covering her anymore.
'Why would you think you werent welcomed here?' he asked, his voice still gentle and low. 'Did you come here looking for me?'

Starlet nodded up at him. "I did.." She smiled a little. "I've never heard you talk about them before, and I never bothered to ask... So I wasn't sure. I didn't want to intrude." She told him honestly. She looked out from under his wing to the others around.
"I couldn't find you in the usual places I see you... And I saw the fire starting, so I came to see." She started to feel better, his not understanding why she felt like that, meant that it wasn't wrong for her to go there.
