Aras was normally very strong and serious acting. Though today she decided she needed to have some fun and who knew where it could lead her. As she saw some butterflies fly past her, she just couldn't resist the urge to chase them. So she pounced and jumped after them just like she did when she was young. "Wow, I can't rememer the last time I chased butterflies," she thought to herself as she pounced after them with a bright smile on her face. Laughing as she tried to snatch one within her paws. Everyone had always expected her to be a fighter and always act so serious. Even if part of her was still a kid, she never allowed herself to let that part show. Though there were brief moments when she thought no one was watching that she was able to act free and carefree. Just like she used to be when she was young. Never knowing where these moments would lead. All she knew was she needed to feel free and allow her mind to wander. "Now if only I could find someone to join me in this fun?" She thought to herself, as she countinued to chase after the winged creatures.

Mani was plodding along, doing her usual thing. She'd been wandering a bit more than usual, as she'd been bitten by the lonely bug. The dark coloured cheetah was a rather social creature, but she never really had the oppurtunity to meet others very often. She sighed to herself, though perhaps it wouldn't have mattered if anyone else had heard her.
Though being in a slightly depressed mood just wasn't normal for her and she knew it. So, to cheer herself up she uttered a tune, not thinking anyone was nearby to hear it. [ Sorry for the short reply. xD; ]

Aras had chased the butterflies as far as her legs could carry her. Now she thought was a good time for a break, especially since she seemed to have enough happiness to last a lifetime. So she took one slight pause in the grass as if to rest her legs for a moment. It had been what seemed like ages since she had done something crazy fun like that. Though inside she was so glad she did since it made her in a better mood than she had been earlier. As the smile grew on her face, just as she was about to race off once more she heard someone uttering a tune.
Not quite sure where it was coming from, she quietly began to search for the tune utter. Since the tune itself was actaully quite catchy in her opinion.
(No worries, I love it! An now my short reply turn. hehe.)

[ Heh, Oh what a pair we are. ]
Mani wasn't really trying to hum anything in particular, just something to pass the time. Though even if she wasn't trying all that hard, the tune at least pleasing to her ears. She wasn't sure if anyone else would like it but, that's okay. Not everyone can like the same thing as another. Although that could bring sadness to someone, Mani knew that was a nescarry part of life.
The cheetah kept wandering and humming her tune, finally getting a pattern to it.

After a few strides Aras had finally located the tune utter-er. She layed down and hide in the grass. She wasn't sure how she should really approach this person. Should she just go up to them and say hi. Or should she stay hidden in the tall grass so they could continue on with the beautiful tune. She layed there quietly as if she were hunting her prey, neither idea really seemed like a good way to go was all she could figure. Though she was really curious to what kind of person could be humming such a thing, and she wanted to compliment them on a job well done.
As she listened to the tune and thought of how to approached them. Her tail swayed to the tune, with happiness above the tail grass. Not even caring that her cover may be blowen any moment, for she just couldn't help it. It was catchy and made her want to dance!
(hehe, I know we're just that good. = ] )

[ I can agree to that. c; ]
Mani plopped her black tailed butt down on the ground, still unaware she had some unobserved company. She sat there still humming her tune, which she though had gotten a little catchy. Not surprising that when she wasn't trying to make a tune, it's awesome. Unlike when she is trying it.. doesn't quite work out. She was still oblivious when she'd seen something flickering on the edge of her line of vision. Turning her head, she caught full view of a very happy tail dancing back and forth, back and forth. Her purple eyes followed the tail flop back and forth, her tune sort of dying off after awhile.

As soon as the song ended Aras tail stopped moving and she popped her head up out of the grass. Not even realizing she had done so. "Aww ... what happened to the beautiful music?" she said on complete accident. For the music was good it made her lose track of all her thoughts and just listen to it. This was just thing she needed. Though now she was blushing with embarrassment, having realized maybe she ruined this persons one time to relax out here in the rougelands. [ = ) ]

Mani smiled and let out a snicker upon seeing her newfound company. Whom of which seemed to have enjoyed her little tune. " Your tails' antics distracted me. It was just too cute to ignore. " Which was, in fact true. The way the lionesses tail had been waving around, much like a hyper cub, was rather cute. Endearing even. Mani also hoped that perhaps her comment would relax her company, who seemed a tad embaressed.

Aras couldn't help but let out a innocent giggle at the persons compliment," really? Well thank you, though its a shame the music had to stop. I haven't heard anything that wonderful in a really long time." She could only vaguely remember a time long long ago, when someone would hum her a tune ... but who she couldn't remember. "Though really in my personal opinion, you do have a wonderful talent! Oh and I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm Aras!" she said with a smile as she held out her right paw to her newfound Acquaintance.

Mani held out her paw to the lion. Her own seemed to be dwarfed all the more by the lions'. Made it seem more dainty. The dark coloured cheetah returned the smile, the same one she always wore, because she was just that friendly. Too friendly some might say but, usually those that utter those words; haven't come across true friendliness before. Not their fault. " It's a pleasure to meet you Aras. I'm Mani. " She didn't say much else on the topic of her tune. Mani had a streak of being self conscious of herself and whatever ' talents ' she may have.

"The pleasures all mine Mani! Since I love meeting new people on my travels," Aras said as she shook maini's paw and gentley placed hers back on the dirt ground. Aras for once wasn't quite sure what to say next. Since the topic of the beautiful tune she had heard earlier. Was something that didn't seem like to make much conversation. So she picked something of the top of her head, "So do you travel around here much or do you live in this part?" she asked curiousily since she hadn't really met many others around this part.
An maybe just maybe a little bit later she could ask about the cheetah's tune. When she knew her a little bit better that was. Since it would be kind of strange to act like thats the only good thing about her and to keep talking of it. when getting to know people can be kind of fun at least for Aras anyways.

Mani shrugged her slender shoulders, " I live wherever my feet take me. This just happens to be the latest spot. " Which happened rather often. Once she started walking, her mind tended to wander as well, and before she knew it the cheetah would be in a brand new area. It seemed to happen often enough, but it didn't seem to bother her too much. Only in the fact that she was mainly alone, did it bother her. So, in this moment in was rather nice to be in another's company once more. Though, Mani would love to be in anyone's company, whether they were nice to her or not.

"Oh wow well that must be awesome! You must have traveled to so many places," Aras said as she thought of all the travels Mani may have done.
Though a small part of her wondered if maybe the two of them were more alike then she originally thought. Since for Aras she loved to be lost in thought even when it sometimes cost her dinner. Her mind couldn't help it though, since so many things were left unanswered to her. "Actually I kinda do the same, though my favorite part of it all is meeting new friends." she said. "Even though some aren't really what you'd probably call friends," she continued with a slight giggle thinking of all the crazy people she'd meet before.

" For all times I've wandered, I.. don't usually meet others. " A true enough fact. She'd always wondered about that though. Was it merely being in the wrong place? Would she just miss someone? Or was her daydreaming the cause of it? Surely her being in thought couldn't be so off putting, could it? The cheetah did admit that sometimes her daydreaming got her into trouble.

"Oh ... well thats ashame. Since meeting others can be sorta interesting at times," Aras said. Since the one thing she always enjoyed was the company of random strangers. Though it might seem a bit odd to others, since when she was younger she was taught to not really trust anyone. "You know though I'm betting you'll meet plentely of others soon! I mean plus I bet your singing or rather humming could attract a few listeners." Aras said with a smile shining on her face, the one that never seemed to leave when she enjoyed her company.
