well so ok my dad and my x who was not my x at the time were all at this bar/club thing in know called cotten eye joes sooo uhm im standen next to my dad but he doesent realise that its me couse i left his side and then came back soo he didnt know i was there and there was a realy hot cowgirl chick with long legs and blond hair bluejean cut off dukes and a white shirt and a cowboy hat and oh man she was hot i had a country thing back then but anywho so my dad goes to tell me about her only as i said he didnt know it was me at the time and he sayd wow look at that girl over there shes hot and i say h3!! yeah she is i will never forget the look on my dads face it was priceless and he was like r u for real and i was like yeah dad im for real i like chicks too i was like 17 or 18 at the time and hes been cool wih it ever sence but my mom passed on befor i could tell her wait i was 18 now i recall but my dads cool with it

haha, one catholic convention, year of hardcore "F*** the sinners, gays, open-minded"" church and two years after the come out, i'm proud to say that i no longer care. my madre still has tons of problems about it, cries about it, mourns the daughter she no longer sees me as, blah blah blah.
but my dad wholeheartedly accepts it. he appreciates having a kid to talk about women with since my bro is pretty quiet about the chicks he likes.

I have yet to exactly say to anyone outside of those I've been in relationships, but it's really not my parents' business. They don't usually talk to me too much (not cause they're bad people, cause I hide in the basement and my bedroom) so I'm not exactly about to sit down and have a heart to heart conversation and garbage like that.

I told my dad first that I liked girls when I was 14, he asked 'Was it -bestfriends name-' ? I said no. Actually. It was ._.
It was once again brought up two years later when I was 16 when I came out to both my parents. My mom just found her long-lost brother, who is gay as it turns out, so she was all accepting and my dad was still the same 'this is how I feel, but I can't rule your life' so it was actually very smooth sailing B) I now check out women with my dad in the car when we're waiting for mom or whoever to be done in the store. Father-daughter bonding oh yes B) [/creep]

I asked a question about being gay to my mom and she was like "Why do you want to know? Are you... ?" I didn't say anything so she was like "You are..." and I was like "... ... ... Yea." and she started crying so I was like "Oh crud." BUT she just said that she was proud of me that she told me and she'll always love me and all that shiz. Though she tends to diss gay people all the time and I get mad at her a lot, but she does try...
My dad found out and he was like "I hate you" and I didn't care I just said "Good, I hate you too." Not so much in those words but I'm keeping it G-rated. :] Though for some reason me and my dad are cool now. I don't know how that happened... ?
My sister doesn't care, and my brothers don't talk about it, though I think one of them hates me. Haha. Oh well...

I basically just told my mom and told her to tell my dad. I was to afraid to tell him. They're cool with it to an extent. When I wanted to cut my hair short my mom kinda flipped otu and when I started wearing guys pants she was afraid I was going to get a sex change, but that aint going to happen just for the fact that my girlfriend is into chicks and if I got a sex change I wouldn't be a chick anymore. Not to mention my parents would never speak to me again.
