Thwayya had done it. She'd snuck out of her families personal den and was now creeping about the den area halls. The female did her best to calculate every paw step so that she not wake any other lions or god knows what up. Hehe, she'd done it! She was ... still in the den area but she'd snuck out ... even though she was allowed to go as she pleased. But still in the timid little lions mind it was a victory. She'd broken a little piece away from her mental prison.

Now the question was what she was going to do. What was her next move. Was she going to prowl the halls or was she actually going to explore the temple on her own. The idea seemed simple enough in her mind but in reality it seemed she had lost her nerve. The once proud female was now as meek as a mouse and as jumpy. The further and further she got the more her heart pounded in her head.

Thwayya stopped and swallowed. She was at the boarder now. The end of the den area and there was no adult in sight. A small cub like her couldn't wander around. That was dangerous.

Thousands of different ways that a cub could get hurt flashed through her eyes as she stared in to the dark emptiness. She was shaking and her breath was heavy, turn back now and always wander, or go the extra paw step.

The female didn't know. She wanted to run back to her den and hide behind one of her fathers. This was to scary.

Tuaika opened his eyes for the third time. He couldn't stand it anymore! Three times he had woken up, and twice he had tried to fall asleep. It just wasn't working anymore. He had to get out and do something. He just couldn't sit still

He looked around, his golden eyes searching for a way out. With so many brothers and sisters around, the den was quite cramped.

When he finally got out, he smiled and started running. Looking back he chuckled until he bumped into something. "Oof!" He lost his breath as he was knocked onto his back. "What was that?" He rolled over and shook his head.

The little lioness had been so busy dancing around should she or shouldnt she that she didnt notice the other cub coming at her. With that one bump, it was enough to push her slightly forward onto the the other side.

Course it had been a little more of roll... Thwayya was on her back looking with wild eyes. Had she displeased the gods? She felt hot tears starting to well behind her eyes.

"IM SORRY!" She cried. Tears ran in neat lines down her cheek and her heart raced faster. "Oh greater being Im so sorry!"
Thats when she spotted the cub. Huh?

Tuaika's head snapped up when he heard the girl cry. "No no no!" He said with wide eyes as he rushed over to her and placed his paw over her mouth.

"Shh." He said as he looked around them, "Not so loud..." He whispered, "You'll wake everyone." He said as he slowly took his paw off of her mouth and crouched low to the ground, looking around.

The female closed her mouth, eyes still wide like a deer in the head lights. She'd never seen this cub before. Though, honestly, she hadnt seen a ton of cubs before. Still the female kept her caution on the yellow.

"You're not a god," She whispered.

He looked back over to her. "Nope." He stood up and looked at her smiling. "Gods are a lot bigger." He thought for a moment. "I've never seen one before, but mom and dad said they're a lot bigger." He smiled, "I'm Tuaika." He smiled. If she thought he was a god, he figured he he didn't have to
make up a fake name.

The female inhaled and exhaled for a few moments. She'd heard the same from her parents. She was relieved a that he wasn't a god though. This night had to much excitement already as it stood.

"I'm Thwayya," Her mind was a little scrambled. Sure she had heard the name Tuaika before but her young mind couldn't retain where.

She'd forgotten one little thing. She wasn't in den territory, nope, she'd fallen out. The memory came crashing back though and hard. The cub quickly scrambled to her and, awkwardly, hurried over the dividing line in her mind to where "safe" was.

"W-we shouldnt be out here this late with out an adult. " She eyed him, "Come on lets get back before they worry."

He smiled, his first real friend! He was so excited, there was no way he'd be able to go back to sleep now. "What?" He looked at her strangely, "Why would you want to go back?" He stood and kneeled on his front paws. "We can do anything!" His tail shook from side to side. "Haven't you ever wanted to go on an adventure?" his golden eyes were wide with excitement.

The female began to open her mouth in protest, but he hit a very special spot. Adventure? The females eyes widened some. She'd day dreamed before about them but... had she technically been on one.

"I.. Anything?" She tilted her head to the side, "What about danger and ... " She stopped her self from protesting, "Adventure ... S-sure!"

I'd say she'd just cast caution out to the wind but that would be giving her to much credit.

Tuaika laughed as he jumped around, "The danger is half the fun." He jumped over her and started to run further away from the dens. He had someone to go on adventures with! And she wasn't doing them just because he was a prince! This was going to be great, he could feel it. He just hope no one would wake up and notice he was gone.

The female watched him as he jumped and ran further away. Dare she stay here or follow the rabbit down the hole. She stood there prancing around her options....

But her feet had other ideas. They were moving in the direction the other strange lion cub had gone. Thwayya gulped, well she had already crossed the border right? She was a fugitive now on the run.

"W-wait up!"
