This is just a rant...
About rape... about pregnancy, and about life.
Disregard if you'd like~
I'm just warning you now...
Rant:
This all began earlier today(the rant.) But, it really started yesterday... when my best friend's mom came over to our house for the first time. (So that things are clear, my family is Filipino, and her family is Hmong.) And her mom looked around, and started talking to her in Hmong... the whole time while she'd whisper to her in Hmong, she kept looking at me with this... mean look.
It didn't end there... throughout dinner, she kept staring at my belly... Like she's never seen a pregnant girl before. I mean, I know, most people tend to stare at pregnant teens but... Honestly?! A full grown adult should not be staring like that.
So, as the night was almost over, I was in the bathroom. (What I was doing in there is completely my own business....) And I just so happen to overhear her and her mother... and the thing that really cut me inside was when she mentioned, (this is a word for word quote...)
"It's just like a Filipino to become a whore at a young age."
I swear. I'm not sure whether I'm more upset at her calling me a whore... or her calling me a Filipino... the way she said it. She made it seem like she was better than me. Better than us, as Filipinos.
And... it's been quite some time since I've been pregnant... but it still never ceases to bother me when people look at me weird, and when people talk about me. And overall, I really hate it when other Asians, (who are just as Asian as me, or any other Asian...) think that they're better than me, just because they aren't Filipino.
Well, you know what...? I like being Filipino, Bitches! I don't give a damn about your Korea, or your Thailand. I've got a frikkin' 's' on the end of my home country... 'Philippines'. Bitches!
And, honestly... I've seriously thought about committing suicide over that remark my friend's mother made about me. But now, I just don't give a damn...
There. Rant over.

Hell; You know what...? I love my child, and I wouldn't trade the world for her. Yeah, at first I hated it... Hated her. But she's not him. She probably didn't ask to be a part of me... and she is now. Too bad for me. But you know what? I don't care. I love her, despite everything else.

call your friends mom and tell her that you were raped and your not a whore.
maybe that will teach her not to assume stuff about people, especially if you mention that they are a "different race"(RACE? WE ARE ALL F**KING HUMAN YOU JERKS scream ).
