I love how people keep trying to come up with ways to avoid rape...
And they make things like,
"Kick them in the balls"
or
"Kill them."

Sorry to say, though those methods are effective...
They probably won't work.
Statistics show:

Approximately 2/3 of rapes were committed by someone known to the victim.
93% of juvenile sexual assault victims know their attacker.
73% of sexual assaults were perpetrated by a non-stranger.
38% of rapists are a friend or acquantance.
28% are an intimate.
7% are a relative.

And come now, we aren't ninjas. You can't just jump up and murder the person... :/
Since when did rapes become so predictable?!
You can't just come up with silly ways to avoid rape...

There honestly, are no ways to avoid the common rape,
Especially considering most rapes happen within the family.

There are a few hotlines out there to call if you have been raped.


Note: I have honestly never called a hotline, so I can't tell you how it feels or what it's like. But, I have heard from a very reliable online resource and she tells me that they're very trustworthy.

And, I'm just sick of reading people who post like,
"Kick them. Find a gun and shoot them... yadda..."

But honestly, considering that most rapes are committed by family members, or people that the victim trusts... I highly doubt they'd carry around that kind of stuff with a person they trusted.

Well, not quite.
I know judo and can hurt anyone out to mess with me.
Sure I might think twice before hurting someone I know, but it all depends on if I really care about them. Which is not really :C Takes a lot for me to actually care. (I really don't care if that rapist is part of my family. Family don't harm each other. So that person ain't no family of mine >:C)
And you can actually use any object around you(Even if you are in an ally) to keep that rapist at bay.

I have a friend who's dad won't let her go places by herself until she learns self defense and i think that, that plan could really work. Or people could do what me and my friends do and never ever go to the bathroom alone.

you truthfuly cant avoid rape because u dont know its comeing but be carefull of stranger danger!

Rapings come unexpected so before you try to attack your attacker, your bound to get gagged or be in some position where you can't defend yourself. The best way I think is to call help is by yelling. Yelling still might be unreliable since most people get attacked in alleys or places where there nobody to call for help.
